Pros: Friendly staff. Homelike atmosphere. Nice breakfast. Location.
Pros: The location is excellent. We could walk to the places we wanted to go in Nantucket, and other locations around are easily reached by car. The parking is just enough, but no problem
Cons: The towels were not refreshed while we were out or the room tidied.
Pros: Very friendly staff and great breakfast. It was close enough to walk to the seawall and restaurants.
Pros: The gardens are beautiful--it was pleasant to sit outside. Jessica was very nice and helpful. Loved the animals. The company was great--we enjoyed meeting others. Bed was very comfortable, tho we did have the upper AC drip down on ours the first night, causing a pinging noise all night. We put a towel bunched up on ours and that fixed it.
Cons: The food needed some attention. There was half and half only one morning. There should be half and half for customers who use it in their coffee. I mentioned it the second day, but didn't get any until the last day. Also, she did give us 2 muffins the first morning as we had to leave extremely early. They were not very good. These came from a grocery store or convenient mart. They should have come from a bakery, but it was nice of her to give them to us. Also, tell Jessica to fix her scrambled eggs in the microwave. Her eggs were brown as they cooked too long in the skillet . The microwave will cook them evenly, won't burn them, and they will be light and fluffy. Also there was bottled water in the frig the first day, but no other days after.
Pros: Location was great - close to everything. Very cozy and homey. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Pros: Extremely friendly hostess and incredible breakfast to start our day. Very quiet and cozy B&B in a great location.
Pros: Common room was nice to sit in. Provided information on the area and menus for nearby restaurants. Coffee and water available. Garden outside area was pretty, shaded and comfortable on a hot day. Breakfast was great fresh fruit cup juice, pancakes and sausage with coffee.
Pros: Cute house with an excellent garden. Delicious breakfast, kind caretaker Jessica and close to beach and town. Love this place . Will most definitely return.
Cons: Breakfast could be a little earlier.
Pros: Great breakfast, great location
Pros: Jessica, our host, went out of the way to ensure that we were comfortable. Her breakfasts were tasty and plentiful and she even serenaded us with guitar accompaniment the last morning of our stay. Superb location. TV lounge. Back secluded patio with view of greenery.
Cons: Smell of bleach in common area the first day only.
Cons: AC, TV
Pros: Room was clean, common area nice, especially since there were only 2 of us staying the night. Hostess had good variety of suggestions about close places tp eat and local attractions.
Cons: Exterior foliage needs trimming, difficult to see signage during the day due to growth. Room had a window air conditioner that had a large gap between the unit and the window. Didn’t want bugs to enter, so I stuffed a towel in the space to fill the open space. We were leaving before the 9am breakfast time so can’t comment on the breakfast. The hostess did give us 2 muffins which were tasty. Not sure why breakfast couldn’t be fixed earlier since we were the only 2 people there. The hostess had a very friendly cat, which didn’t come out until she was gone. Would have been nice to know about Leo upon arrival. He was a gorgeous friendly boy, but I would have liked to know about him earlier (especially since he went out when we came in & I didn’t want to be responsible for losing someone’s pet.

Pros: The B&B was perfectly maintained with a lot of attention to detain. It was really nice how the hostess went out of her way to accommodate us and make our stay very nice. The breakfasts had a nice variety each day and were tasty.
Pros: The lady who runs the B&B was very helpful and gracious. The grounds were beautiful and cozy. My child loved running around the yard which was great for us. My husband loved the breakfast which was plentiful and varied: French toast, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, granola, coffee, and tea.
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely host, delicious breakfast, perfect!
Pros: Breakfast was so much more than we expected. The room is beautiful. Worth a stay just to enjoy the amenities
Cons: Every thing with wonderful.
Pros: I like interior design there, an old traditional style. I need to leave much early so that I miss the breakfast there. The hostess leaves two muffins for us which taste very good.
Cons: There is no good restaurant nearby within walking distance.
Pros: Dana was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very pretty and spacious.
Pros: House is nice, and breakfasts were very good. Staff very attentive!
Pros: Interior was interestingly decorated. Food was very good. Hostess was friendly and accommodating.

Pros: Coffee is fresh when you get there and when you get up.
Cons: The hot tub wasn’t working.
Pros: The food accommodating staff and cleanlinessw
Pros: Overall our stay was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I like the fresh coffee available all day long. The staff at the front desk was friendly.
Cons: We never seemed to have enough towels for the four of us. The first evening we arrived we called for bath towels and they brought them up right away. On the last morning of our stay we called guest services at 8am to request clean towels, the line was continuously busy so we called the the front desk. The woman at the front desk said housekeeping will be making their rounds so they will be up there soon and I should just ask them when I see them in the hallway. after 20 mins my husband went down to the lobby to get coffee and inquired about the towels, they said they were all in the dryer. I ended up drying my self with small towels and face cloths after my shower because we wanted to go out for the day and couldn't wait any longer. Also there was sand in our bed.
Cons: The cleaning staff did not throw out our trash or leave clean towels for the 2nd day of our stay.
Pros: the variety was better then most places.
Pros: It was located in an area with shops and restaurants that made it convenient. It was clean and the staff was friendly!
Pros: the selection
Cons: stay alitte warmer
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Breakfast was awesome. Excellent selection. The staff were very friendly and the room appeared clean. The lobby was very nicely set up.
Cons: The room had a musky smell and there was a constant noise all night. I believe it was a soda or ice machine's compressor cycling on and off. Made it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning unit was also noisy as well.
Pros: Was super quiet all night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Was a 10 minute delay checking in (room was not ready) even though we arrived 30 plus minutes after check-in time.
Pros: Nice facility, friendly staff.
Cons: Danger. The tile on the bathroom floor was very slippery to one exiting from the shower/bathtube. No floor mats. Real slip-&-fall threat. Also, because of the nearby annual Newport Jazz Festival they doubled the price. I hate being gouged like that.
Pros: Great location pleasant staff
Pros: Good Location. Very accommodating with our dog. Friendly staff.
Cons: It seems like they are trying for shabby shique, but it's just shabby. There were bugs/moths in the room. It was not as clean as i would have expected.
When you stay at Ocean Rose Inn in Narragansett, you'll be by the ocean, within a 15-minute drive of Narragansett Beach and University of Rhode Island. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was clean and the location was convenient for our travel route..
Cons: The hotel suggests that the restaurant on site is a good option for guests, but our experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had. We waited more than an hour for our meal and had to track down staff for updates rather than them proactively offering information. The restaurant was busy, but not insanely so (there were empty seats throughout the bar and dining room)The staff was basically passive and indifferent. When we finally did get our meal, it was cold and over cooked which suggests that it had been sitting for a while. The nail in the coffin was my partner being up all night getting violently ill from food poisoning. Needless to say, we will not be back.
Pros: Great location and easy access from Ocean Road.
Pros: Loved the updated rooms, the decor was beach themed/50’s style furniture. Loved it.
Cons: The rooms have 2 beds, we were 4 adults, the beds are double or full beds, and the rooms were small. Not much room for the person sleeping on the outter side of the beds, walls were right up against the beds. We did push the beds away from the wards a little, but again it’s a small room so it was tight. The price was high for the size of the room, but we booked last minute so. Over all it was a good trip.
Pros: Ocean views and had a bar/restaurant
Cons: Expensive and poor continental breakfast
Cons: For the nightly rate, the room we were in had windows that looked into the back area of the restaurant were hotel employees took breaks and restaurant guests had view into the room. Towel rack in bathroom was over toilet far from shower. No counters in bathroom. Blow dryer barely hanging on wall. Could not utilize hotel porch because restaurant used it. Didn't have other option for our room. Bed comfy, towels nice, staff nice, unlimited coffee in the morning
Pros: location can not be beat- walk to everything! the rooms have all been redone in a modern, nice beachy vibe. rooms are very clean!
Cons: could be better customer service for the prices they charge. in addition, rooms would benefit from having black out shades.
Pros: Location, parking, room decor and layout.
Cons: The floor did not get cleaned properly during our stay.
Pros: Beautiful room with an ocean view! The staff were all welcoming and professional!
Pros: Lovely room - recently refurbished Sea views
Cons: Breakfast very basic - coffee / muffin
Pros: It's in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a classic RI beach motel.
Cons: It's older and not fancy. But that's what it is.
Pros: For the price , it had a good location and onsite restaurant and bar
Cons: The window needed to be repaired, the rain came in through the rotten window frame.
Pros: Location was great - clean
Cons: Bright lights outside the room - not conducive to sleeping
When you stay at Atlantic House in Narragansett, you'll be by the ocean, within a 5-minute drive of Narragansett Beach and Adventureland. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Absolutely nothing very smelly rooms
Pros: Comfortable feel, ocean breeze was great, small and conveinient
Cons: Summer prices are crazy in Narragansett
Pros: The location is wonderful. The views are awesome. The staff are very helpful.
Cons: First floor room was dark (despite "full ocean view" which was only from a small balcony) and very musty. All the carpets need to be removed and a thorough cleaning is needed. The second floor room was much nicer and brighter. The "partial ocean view" was perfect. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, however, they weren't accommodating at all upon checkout. There is no place to store luggage (so it sits in a hot car if you go to the beach for the day). The breakfast was terrible. Plan to pick something up to get your day started.
Pros: Parking for 2 cars, microwave
Cons: People smoking outside our window, not sure if allowed to close to hotel
Pros: THE BREAKFAST WAS ADEQUATE BUT NEEDS A LITTLE MORE VARIETY AS TO THE BAGELS AND MUFFINS. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT...…..JUST WHAT I CAME FOR...IT IS HARD NOT TO BE AT THE SEASHORE.
Pros: Location, nice staff.
Cons: The hotel could use some tlc - air conditioner was leaking water onto the carpet and it was damp the whole time. Closet door was broken and room just needed a refresher
Pros: Location is good in terms of view, as you see the ocean out front, but you still need to drive and park to get on the public beach from this location. It's maybe only 2/3 of a mile to the beach, but we all need carry all of our beach stuff. Room size was fine and big enough, but the room furnishings and age were a bit outdated. Staff was nice enough, but breakfast offerings were poor and the price is high. We found ourselves driving out to pay for coffee and breakfast and driving to the beach. As such, we could have stayed somewhere cheaper and not located near the water.
Pros: Lovely location and friendly staff.
Cons: The towels were small, rough and very old. The toilet paper was like sandpaper. Very Cheap. For the prices that they are charging , these two items definitely need to be updated!!!
Pros: Absolutly bad Landscaper put rope up for new side walk tripped over it should have sued stuck us need the back near the help very loud at night . Never go back !!!!
Pros: Staff and locy
Cons: No pool grounds not well kept
Pros: The only thing I really liked was the LOCATION. The hotel is directly across the street from the ocean. The view from our room (we had King Size suite with private balcony) was stunning. There is a large outdoor deck for all guests to use on the second floor of the hotel with plenty of chairs which offers a great view. Our family gathered there several times. There is also a large front lawn with chairs for sitting, relaxing or running around in the grass and playing games. The hotel is within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, a small shopping center and the Narragansett beach. Regarding the hotel - What I liked ... Hotel staff were pleasant and check in/check out was easy. Plenty of parking. Coffee was adequate in the morning. We didn't eat the breakfast ... they only offer cold cereal, bagels and store bought muffins. Ice machine worked fine. Air conditioning in our room worked well and was not too noisy. The mini fridge in the room was large and convenient. Towels were clean and fluffy and plenty of soap, hair products and lotion provided. King size bed and pillows were comfortable and room was quiet so we did sleep well.
Cons: The condition of the hotel is very poor. The carpet in the lobby and stairs leading to second floor is filthy. I dead saw cockroaches stuck in the carpet, along with cereal and general dirt. There is no elevator and the stairs leading up to our room on the second floor are VERY steep. The young man at the front desk offered to help carry our luggage, but we still had to navigate the stairs several times a day and this aggravated my lower back pain issues. Our room was very "worn" looking and the carpet was not clean. Paint was chipped on walls in the room and bathroom. There were stains on the ceiling. Stains and dirt on the carpet in the room. The shower curtain smelled like mildew. The faucet in the bathtub dripped. In other words - it needs lots of updating ... especially fresh paint, and LOTS of deep cleaning. Our room was not even cleaned the first full day of our week long stay. We left the room at 10:30 am and returned at 9 pm. The "Please make up our room" sign was on the door ALL DAY. Housekeeping office was just across the hall from our room. When we returned that evening, sign was still on door and dirty towels still on bathroom floor, bed not made. The front desk sent the housekeepers into our room at 9:30 pm - with fresh towels. They cleaned bathroom. The next day I specifically asked them to vacuum the carpet. The next day I heard the maintenance man telling the housekeeper the vacuum had no suction - thus our carpet was dirty the whole week we were there. The common areas also need deep cleaning - the wooden railing going up stairs to second level was sticky (yuck), carpet in lobby area very worn and dirty.
With a stay at Scarborough Beach Motel in Narragansett (Eastward Look), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Narragansett Beach and University of Rhode Island. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Loved the location and the room was clean.
Cons: Front desk hours were minimal and the girl who does the housekeeping was very rude!
Pros: Great location, across the street from the State Beach.
Pros: Great location with beach across the street
Cons: The people in the room over mine were loud. It sounded like they were moving furniture
Pros: It was all updated across the street from the beach and very clean.
Cons: They need a broom in the room to clean the beach sand from the floor that we dragged in.
Pros: Basically everything
Cons: Would have liked a queen bed. Room needs a couple of small area rugs to be perfect!
Pros: Super close and convenient to the beach. Snack shop next door was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms were a bit small but very clean and comfortable.
Pros: Fantastic location, very convinient!! Liked having a separate bedroom from the kids, fridge and table. Morning coffee was very nice too! Lovely views.
Cons: Down side of separate bedroom was that it was hot with the door closed, needed better AC. Small bathroom. Al the doors SQUEEKED terribly, hard to go to the bathroom during the night without waking everyone else.
Pros: Location directly across from Scarborough Beach is great. Only minutes to Point Judith Ferry. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room appeared to have been recently redone.
Cons: No frills at all for the price. Kind of shabby on the outside but rooms were clean.Having hair dryers available would have been a plus.
Pros: Great location, minutes walk from the beach for sunrise.
Cons: Wanted to leave before the front desk opened but couldn't find a key drop box.
Pros: Bare bones. Great location
Pros: Location to the beach
Cons: The rooms smelled bad with smoke and etc
When you stay at Aqua Blue Hotel & Conference Center in Narragansett, you'll be on the beach, a 1-minute drive from Narragansett Beach and 10 minutes from University of Rhode Island. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff very nice and friendly
Cons: No toilet paper or Klinex in the room very disappointing Wait there was about three turns on the roll on the rod and instead of replacing it they decided to fold the corners
Cons: Not at all worth the high price I paid. Very dated. Rotted wood on balcony could not sit outide.
Cons: Rooms need updating, especially carpeting!!!!
Pros: Location is amazing to beach and restaurants
Cons: Hotel had some cleanliness issues.
Pros: The location
Cons: It was dirty...not comfortable didn’t sleep well! Didn’t get the view I paid for!
Pros: After reading the reviews, I was angry at my husband for choosing this property—anticipating a problematic time. However th hotel was very clean, our room was very tidy and supplied with towels and the overall experience was very satisfactory.
Pros: The bed and the pillows were phenomenal!!! The room was very comfortable as well!! Also, loved the location!!
Pros: Location is beautiful.
Cons: No real ammenities...no food or bar. Musty smell and heat in room very noisy. Was there off season, but price of room didn't reflect that.
Pros: the room was very nice bed was comfortable
Cons: I got up during the night to use the bathroom as it was unfamiliar to me I fell hitting my ribs against the tub..i am still quite sore...I recommend a lite that goes on auto matically when opening the bathroom door.
Pros: The location is fantastic, the continental breakfast was tastey and the room had a king bed that was firm as we prefer. The staff was efficient and responded quickly to our request for 2 more pilloows.
Cons: The breakfast could include hard boiled eggs. The front desk staff could be friendlier...
Pros: The service from the staff was excellent.
Cons: Qe had a minor issue with ants in our room and had to be moved to another room.
Cons: No pool working
With a stay at Blueberry Cove Inn in Narragansett, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Narragansett Beach and 9 minutes from University of Rhode Island. Featured amenities include a library, an elevator (lift), and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Facility was not clean, I understand there isn't much that can be done about the seagulls but something needs to be done about the overwhelming smell. Sidewalks and parking lot could be hosed occasionally. It's a shame, the location is convenient, walking distance to the beach and restaurants however the owners really should take some initiative to have the place look presentable.
