Laird, Apr 2021 - Travelodge by Wyndham Phoenix North
Cons (-) Rough crowd staying there. Loud, booming rap music late night, cigarette smoke filtering through the walls. Pretty gritty, depressing place.

Allison, Mar 2019 - La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Phoenix Chandler
Pros (+) The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was good and the coffee bar was excellent.
Cons (-) Having fresh fruit besides whole red delicious apples at breakfast would improve the breakfast. The oatmeal was tasty but was a little runny.

Pros (+) Room was recently remodeled (you can tell) and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK (I've had better and worse at other LaQuintas). Check out was fast & efficient.
Cons (-) Night staff wasn't at desk when I arrived to had to wait a couple minutes. She never bothered to tell me when breakfast was served. She keyed the cards wrong so we had to go back down. And she wasn't at the desk AGAIN. When she did show up, she never apologized for the inconvenience, but did ask if I had put the keys near me phone (seriously, that's a thing?).

Pros (+) I really liked the bathrooms, very clean, spacious, and logically laid out. The beds themselves were pretty comfy and overall things were nice and clean.
Cons (-) The AC was a tad bit finicky, it was either a little too hot or a little too cold and there was no way to program a "smart" auto setting in the thermostat. You could set it to a temperature, and if it wasn't quite at that temp, it the heater would turn on, too cold and the AC would turn on. I didn't want the heater to turn on but there wasn't a way to turn that part off. Not a huge biggie at all b...
