On Google kayak website said if you pay through them they will not need a deposit that’s not true I still had to give them my credit luckily for me I was prepared but others are gonna be upset when they pay assuming they won’t need a deposit

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested a minivan because we were moving my daughters belongings cross county. When we arrived we were told that the van had a safety issue and couldn’t be driven. They were able to accommodate us with a SUV

Cons:

The rental was in a KIA dealership. Apparently there had been a recall and everyone needed rental cars. It took over an hour to be checked out. The staff was overwhelmed but did a good job

Picking up and dropping off was easy.

Cons:

The security deposit. Was told the amount went up to $250. That was perfectly fine. But not when you’re charged $250 on top of the rental price when you already prepaid the car.

I arrived at location. With my confirmation. They had no cars and kept the insurance payment. They said they were sorry! I got a ride 25 miles to get there. No calls to let me know anything!

KAYAK
I booked the car online and the website said the care was available. When I arrived, they told me there were no cars available and none were coming in. When I asked to cancel, they told me they couldn't do that there. Finally, they gave me a 1800 number to cancel the reservation. I will never use them again.
