Pros: Food at the event dinner was unusually good, and the included breakfast was outstanding. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: In-room coffee decanter was missing, but otherwise everything was fine.
Pros: This hotel was easy to get to (with not being familiar with the area). Centrally located and close to restaurants and shops -- Target being nearby was a plus! Big parking lot, easy access to get in. King sized bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, shower was very hot and pressure was good. We did not get a chance to use the pool or other facilities.
Cons: My partner and I always try to stay at independent hotels and inns, and avoid hotel chains whenever we can. We prefer older buildings and places with some personality. The hotel felt dated, but unfortunately not in a charming way. Our room was very very cold when we got in; when we turned the heater on it filled the room with a strong burning smell that did not go away. There was a pair of sunglasses hanging in one of our lamps that said "TEAM BRIDE" (leftover from the previous guests, no doubt). The walls were incredibly thin, we could hear everything (and I mean everything) that went on in the rooms close to us, as well as everything in the hallway. Because of this, I did not sleep well. The staff was helpful enough when checking in and out but neither of us got a particularly warm or welcoming feeling from anyone working there. One of the staff members was just sitting awkwardly on the front steps and stared at us without saying anything anytime we walked by ... weird. Free breakfast was average; one can always hope that a free breakfast might be surprisingly delicious but this was not. At the end of the day I would recommend this as an average hotel to someone who needs a cheap place to stay in the area, but would not recommend it to someone wanting a more luxurious weekend getaway. I'm a bit confused by the glowing reviews this place gets, but maybe it's just in comparison to the other hotels in the area?
Pros: I liked the cleanliness of the room, the flexibility of the staff, and the pool.
Pros: I used to stay there because of work. This time it was to get together with retired coworkers... and that is the hotel we chose because it has been so good to us in the pass.
Pros: I found the room to be niceloy appointed and very clean. The staff was courteous and helful. The buffet breakfast was very good.
Pros: Clean and quiet with trees birds ect.
Cons: HBO guide out of date
Pros: I came with my son to view Bard College. The hotel was 10 min away from airport ,( we took the hotel shuttle ) which was great . The rooms were very clean and the beds were feathered ( the same beds that you can find in high end hotels). the decor in the breakfast room wasn't up dated , but we got a warm breakfast , which was included in the price. We felt very safe at this hotel , and the stuff was helpful and friendly. This hotel has a feeling of a boutique hotel. So if you are in Albany airport area , stay in The Century House"
Pros: The cleanliness of the room, also the breakfast was great.
Pros: One of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in.
Pros: Everything was perfect!
Pros: Shuttle to airport and helpfulness of guy at front desk . Breakfast was good.
Pros: When we arrived the young lady at the desk was so warm and welcoming.
Pros: The staff was pleasant and helpful. I took notice, in particular, the deligence & hard work of ' Hotel Employee' who was in charge of the breakfast set up & clean up.
Cons: I feel the price was a bit high. I was visiting my son at Siena for family weekend. It would be nice to offer savings to parents already burdened with college tuition!
nice clean rooms, quiet, plenty of parking, good breakfast
Pros: The breakfast was great. Nice quiet location.
Cons: Not enough seating for breakfast at the time we went.
Pros: The staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. I already booked another trip and will be staying at your hotel. Thank you
Cons: No everything was perfect
Pros: Staff provided a very high level of customer service and I appreciate their caring during a holiday time frame. The hotel was in an excellent location and services like the breakfast were excellent and much appreciated. I will stay at this hotel again wh
Very clean and consistent with the Hampton Inn we recently stayed in in Hadley Mass (which is why I chose Hampton Inn this time and will be looking again in DC for another upcoming trip!) Well done!
Pros: The desk staff who greeted us upon check-in was outstanding. She offered the most welcoming welcome I ever experienced. She maintained this cheery disposition at our late hour check-in (10:30pm) and again in the early breakfast hour the next day!
Cons: No.... But I have more positive things about the front desk staff...I am sorry I don't recall her name but we checked in on Aug. 28th and I would be thrilled if corporate office looked up her name and knew how well she represented your establishment.
I was delighted with the service and the cleanliness/furnishings. It's a great place to stay, much more than the star level would indicate.
Pros: Cleanliness and furnishings.
Perfect accommodations. Excellent coffee
Pros: By clean and new
Polite staff great breakfast. Always had fresh coffee.
Pros: This location is fine, decently clean and the one person who mans the front desk from at least 4 to 7 was polite and nice. Problem is there was JUST ONE person there on a busy Saturday evening.
I waited 30 minutes in a line that went out the front door to check in. When I asked if this was normal procedure the guy gave me a look that said he was doing all he could do. I felt for the poor guy. It is not his fault.
I will not book again in this location until I know they are adequately staffed.
I waited 30 minutes in a line that went out the front door to check in.
I will not book again in this location until I know they are adequately staffed.
Pros: The overall hotel was very clean and very nice. The staff were friendly and proficient.
Cons: The room needed maintenance. The bathtub spigot was broken. Breakfast was expensive. There could have been a free option.
Cons: BREAKFAST BUFFET HAD EGGS, BACON AND SAUSAGE AND THAT WAS ABOUT IT. NOT MUCH VARIETY FOR $12. I ORDERED ROOM SERVICE AND IT WAS OK. THE CHICKEN SOUP WAS REALLY BAD. ALMOST ALL CELERY. I ORDER ROOM SERVICE ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND WHEN I LEFT ON SUNDAY MORNING, MY DISHES WERE STILL IN THE ROOM. ONLY HAD MY ROOM CLEANED ONE TIME. SHOWER WAS VERY NICE. NO SAFE FOR YOUR VALUABLES. ROOM WAS VERY HOT WHEN I ARRIVED BUT DID COOL DOWN. EVERYTIME YOU LEAVE THE ROOM THE AIR CONDITIONER TURNS OFF SO YOU HAVE TO COOL IT DOWN AGAIN WHEN YOU COME BACK. I'M SURE THIS IS GREAT FOR KEEPING THEIR ELECTRIC BILL DOWN BUT IF YOU COME BACK FOR AN HOUR OR SO, IT IS JUST GETTING COOL WHEN YOU LEAVE AGAIN. TRYED TO CHECK OUT ON SUNDAY MORNING BUT THE COMPUTERS WERE DOWN. I HAVEN'T SEEN A BILL YET EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THEY WOULD E-MAIL ME ONE. OVERALL JUST OK AND VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET. ROOMS ARE JUST GENERIC.
Pros: Complimentary beverages and cookies in the lobby.
Pros: Very welcoming, beds extremely comfortable, good amenities. Very satisfied.
Cons: This hotel is typical in that the pool and fitness center are right next door. The chlorine fumes kill the air quality in the fitness center. Air quality elsewhere in the hotel was good.

Pros: 2 rooms with bathrooms sofa-bed was perfect set up. I always travel with my small kids my mom and sometimes my teenagers, so it was very nice to find a hotel that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a very decent price. But the room needs a little cleani
Pros: Friendly staff and beautiful facility!
The roomy kitchen/living area/bed area format was very comfortable. Also, breakfast buffet was very good, and the common eating area was a comfortable place for breakfast.
Pros: The bed and bedding were top notch; I had an enormously comfortable sleep.
Cons: My room, though heated, was colder all night than the thermostat setting (66 vs. 74 in the morning); the enormous icicles, while picturesque, may mean the roof isn't properly insulated. We were, however, in a 10F cold snap.
Pros: Spacious. Well equipped kitchen.Free hot buffet breakfast, ample dining space, friendly service.
Cons: Bed on the small side.Had to walk outside, in the cold and snow, to get from registration to room.Airport shuttle only ran after 9 PM.Fruit on buffet was substandard.
Pros: Clean, quiet and excellent breakfast
Cons: All rooms have outdoor entrances as opposed to prior Residence Inns we have stayed at. We had to wear coats to go down to breakfast in the morning
We travel through that area frequently and often stay overnight . This was the best hotel we have come across in several years for the price.
Pros: Clean, spacious. exceeded our expectations for a three star hotel
Cons: Not a lot of parking
Nice, affordable casual dining is near by. I recommend Scarboroughs for a restaurant / bar. It's an independently owned business with great food and drinks.
Pros: The roominess of the suite was nice, although a little smaller than some Residence Inns I have stayed at in the past. It is tucked in a wooded area near the Albany Airport. I highly recommend the walking / jogging / bike path, 1/2 mile away from the hotel
Pros: Location was relatively close to an appointment and it was neslted in a nice wooded area.
Cons: They were out of regular coffee for the rooms.
Nice room, very clean, 24 hour shuttle to the Airport which is 10 minutes away. Cute dinning room, nice menue. Beautiful grounds, very quiet. Small indoor pool. Very nice outdoor patios, one with a fire pit. Walking trails around property.
Pros: have stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in the past, nice hotel. however we were bumped here from Residence Inn, where I had choose to stay due to the fact that there were 2 adults and a child.Garden Inn was a little small.
Cons: Suite was more of a room and a little small for 2 adults with a child.
Staff were welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely book next time. Much better than Holiday Inn Suites.
Pros: Great location to shopping and the family party we attended. Room was very clean and well-decorated. Beautiful bed- restful sleep. Not noisy for being close to the airport. First heard plane sounds at 7:30.Food was very good and lots of variety.
Cons: Was difficult finding the location as the street numbers on Troy-Schenechtady Road are weird. A clerk at Stewarts told us how to get there.
Pool and tennis court behind main building and central to all rooms. Common grounds very nicely spaced for large outdoor feel.
Pros: Conveniently located, shopping centers and services very close, very private quiet setting inside the city. Breakfast menu changes daily very good selection.
Cons: Bathroom design very tight, sacrificed to enhance living space, could be a little larger.
Really nice place to stay.
Pros: Its almost feels like being at home.
Cons: There wasn't any place to put a suitcase. We had to put both of ours on the coffee table in front of the sofa.
Pros: First time at the hotel amazing all the way around. Staff was friendly and nice
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Lobby and public spaces are unattractive and run down

Pros: Convenient location
Pretty good free breakfast, the standard - waffles, coffee, cereals, toaster, microwave
Cons: Room was small
Pros: Cheapest room in town and the location is decent, right off the highway. And Dunkin Donuts is next door for coffee.
Cons: Smell of cigarettes in the corridor, but the room smelled ok. The bathroom was not clean and the bed looked like someone had just been laying on it. I pulled the bed apart and the white sheets were yellowed with noticeable stains. I ultimately slept in my clothes on top of the bedding. If I had my family with me we would have left for a different hotel.
Pros: There was a nice marked area to walk our dog. The staff member, Zusha, at the front desk was professional, polite and very personable. She was very attentive to any questions or concerns.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The desk clerk that checked me in was very friendly and the housekeepers I talked to in the morning were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Couldn't use the fridge because it was too warm. If you miss the driveway like I did its difficult to get back too.
Pros: The staff were amazing and the room was nice
Cons: the lighting and the light switches were a bit confusing,
Pros: Very clean. Great breakfast food. Hotel staff was excellent.
Cons: Very clean.
Pros: Hotel was convenient for our purpose. Service people were polite and friendly.
Cons: Where do I start!!! We booked a suite and paid for a suite via Kayak/Travelocity. I had called ahead on the 26th to advise them we would be a late arrival (our plane did not get in until 11pm.). We arrived late Friday and were told that the suite we wanted was not available. N o explanation. We were given an oversized single room and were advised that the manager (Della O'Brian) would contact us and explain the mixup. Della never called. We got a call on Saturday from the Sales Mgr. who said to take it up with Travelolcity as the room we got is what was agreed to by La Quinta???? Additionally, the phone was not working properly. We couldn;t call the front desk and our message light blinked for three days. We had no outgoing phone service for the entire stay (Friday thru Monday) We told the front desk on two occasions and we also told the Sales Mgr. about the phone. Not sure what the problem was but we had no one come to the room to fix the phone. Finally, I couldn't pin anyone down to give me a price differential between the suite and the room we received.
Cons: Room smelled bad which persisted throughout the entire stay
Pros: The room is very CLEAN! I like the location, easy to go eat, or some shopping if need. Convince to access from highway.
Cons: where we eat breakfast, the table isnt enough for everyone as once. Thats all.
Pros: Convenient to I-87.
Cons: The hallway smelled on cigarette smoke and lack of elevator.
Pros: I have been trying out several hotels in the area, and now that I found this place, my research is complete. For the price, the cleanliness, the location, the mattress, the friendliness of staff, the overall feeling of being safe, and a decent free breakfast on top of it all - this will be my go-to hotel from now on!
Cons: There was nothing negative that I could find about this place.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, when I decided to stay an extra day, there wasn't a problem and was charged the Kayak price which I didn't expect.
Cons: The free breakfast was awful, after the first morning I ate at the Denny's next door, which gave a 10% discount and was great.
Cons: No fridge in room cost extra
Pros: People, location, cleanliness
Cons: Room decor, a very faint smell of cigarettes
Cons: Water was leaking in our room at 1:30 in the morning. Card to access the room wasn't working, had to go to front desk 4-5 times in one day to have them fix it. Blood on the bedding, room was dirty and issues with checking in not allowing my guest that was listed on the room to check in.
Cons: The hotel had a horrible smell. A mix between cigarettes and old musky smell. Room and building were in need of repair/remodel.
Cons: Really dirty, outdated hotel. Totally not worth the money. Rooms are very old. Staff left a trash bag in the hall for two complete days while we were there.
Pros: The location was very convenient, particularly when accessing Saratoga attractions. Room was clean; entire facility has obviously been well maintained. Pool was clean. The staff were great; very friendly and helpful. For the price, it could not have been beaten.
Cons: No real complaints. Obviously, the place will be due for a refresh in a few years, but for now, it is solid.
Pros: I thought the room was quite cozy as a tourist battling the cold here. The bathroom was also very clean and good. The lights were quite dim so it didn't make the room look good. The duvet felt a little old but overall, a decent experience and stay. Good customer relations. Should stay there at least once more whenever I get the chance
Pros: The room was super-clean. It had a refrigerator, microwave, iron, hair dryer and a nice, new television. Soap and shampoo provided were really nice. Breakfast was awesome! The price was really reasonable and I'll stay there again. Had stayed here with previous owner and was disappointed. Didn't realize it was the same place but was really pleasantly surprised!
Cons: Only suggestions would be to add tea bags and paper/pen in the room.
Cons: No smoke detector. No toilet paper. No trash can. Lamp didnt work, and clock was broken. Breakfast was cereal, gallon of milk and waffle iron (no batter), which we skipped.
Pros: Nothing, really.
Cons: No maid service: bed and room weren't made up once. (I stayed 5 nights). Bathroom fan was broken, and so was toilet seat. Toilet paper holder was gone. One bed had no blanket. Carpet was filthy and needed vacuuming desperately. Need i go on? W.R.
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: Staff wasn't at the desk, had to call to get someone to come to the desk to check in, she also warned me my room may or may not be clean.
The room looked ok at first until you looked at the carpet, looked like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed.
Outlets hanging out of the wall, some didn't even work.
Bathroom looked dirty and water was only warm for 5 minutes.
No shower mat
Cons: The review is basically a litany of filth...dirty bathroom, clogged bathtub that regurgitates the previous guest's hair from the drain, torn towels and no replacements available, minimal "free" breakfast...get there early (I arrived at 5:30 a.m.) or the 3 yogurts will be gone, and you'll be left with toast. Oh yes, the waffle maker is for decorative purposes only ("No waffles, buddy", I was told). The curtains can't be drawn fully, so be sure to enjoy the lights of the parking lot & nearby airport. Also, two of the pillows were smeared with what appeared to be nasal discharge, tinged with blood. You may now begin shuddering...
Pros: Room was clean except for mold on bathroom ceiling and missing batteries in carbon monoxide detector
Staff was great tho and friendly and was great about refunding my money would never stay again tho
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed transportation from and to the airport. Nice to have continental breakfast available. 3 minute ride to airport.
Cons: Beds are very old, decor could use some updating, pillows were balls of old mushy foam. Strangely the curtains cannot be closed, fully. Only the thin transparent drapes were closeable.
Pros: You can lay your head down to sleep.
Cons: There was no hot water. Customer service was poor especially with the guy who worked the front desk. The other ladies were awesome.
Cons: Hotel was disgusting
Pros: Affordable PricIng, Good location
Cons: Bathroom Was In Need Of Some Updates. The Metal Strips That Hold Up The Ceiling Tiles Are Showing Rust And The Wallpaper CoveRed Uneven Walls, Looked Like Sloppy workmanship
Pros: Convenient to the airport.
Cons: No elevator to the second floor. Pretty run down.
Pros: Price compared to others on area
Cons: Facilities aging
