Pros: Although our taxi driver had a few problems to find the correct location of the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find everything as pictured on the website. All rooms and especially the lounge were very tastefully decorated and radiated calm and peacefulness. We (3 couples) were made to feel very comfortable from the first to the last minute. The bedrooms were well appointed with lots of attention to detail. In spite of the smallness (4 rooms) Margarita made sure that we got a 5-star service including being able to enjoy a night cap late in the evening and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommendable.

Pros: Booked junior suite which was lovely as we met our daughter (adult) there. Bath tiny. Bedrooms luxurious. Arrived early (about 45 -50 mins) after picking up our daughter from Gatwick to be told we’d be charged extra as early. Not such a warm welcome. Disappointing as read such good reviews. Continental breakfast very nice. The host (man) not sure if manager or owner was friendly

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for Gatwick Airport Lovely Food
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Maple Manor Hotel was a beautiful structure that was well maintained. Our room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast included was free, which was good for a light snack in the morning. My husband and I stayed overnight once which meant we had free parking available. A taxi to Gatwick North Terminal was £8 one way (took approximately 10minutes to get there, if so much) which was cheap in comparison to Uber. We would definitely stay there again when we’re flying from Gatwick as it’s an affordable and comfortable room that’s near to the airport.
Cons: The room was on the smaller side but we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our needs. (Just letting readers know what to expect.) Our taxi which they ordered for 8 30am came at approximately 8 45/50am. We had put in the request when we checked in the previous day. While it may not have been at any fault of Maple Manor Hotel, it’s best to book your taxi a bit earlier than you plan to so you won’t be rushing about at the airport. (We we’re still on time for the flight.)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived at 11.30pm after a cancelled Gatwick flight. The receptionist was welcoming and even helped take luggage upstairs. He was still present and smiling as we left at 6am the next morning. The hotel is just a 15 minute taxi drive from the North Terminal.
Cons: As am older style mansion, there are no lifts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and convenient

Pros: Amazing pub great location and good food and drink selection .
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The loud music in the pub on one evening.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast from locally produced ingredients and very lovely.
Cons: The strict cut off for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 9.30 am and no room service so if you did miss breakfast you basically couldnt have any. We were with friends who cut it fine coming down for breakfast and very nearly missed out. After having completed a charity walk for 50K the day before that wouldnt have gone down very well.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfy in the family room Dinner was good quality pub food Nice hot shower

Pros: I thought the breakfast was poor, there were no cereals or fruit and what I ordered was not good. The rest of our stay however was just fine.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The evening meal was amazing. The room beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. Location beautiful and very peaceful.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good, the staff were lovely, the atmosphere was great, there is a nice garden, its in a quiet spot, lots of cyclists come for food, the bar was not noisy late at night. I would stay again. Liked the book rack at the top of the stairs! I really like the location. Dinner was good but I think the chef is trying a bit too hard and it doesn't always come off.
Cons: The bed was a bit too soft for my partner who is heavier than me and it was rather bouncy. He like instant coffee and it's all filter but that's minor. No cereal (porridge) or fruit at breakfast - it's not self service, even for the start which makes the staff run around a lot and can be a bit slow.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was pretty and quiet but seemed to have a good village community buzz. The breakfast was good but I would have liked a choice of cereals and fruit as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a boutique-like design.
Cons: The room we were allocated had a noisy refrigerator outside which disturbed my sleep but not of my husband. They kindly allocated us a room at the front for the second night and gave us a discount for the first night which we were very pleased about especially as it was a large family room.

Pros: The gardens are fantastic, the level of finish is superb.

Cons: Breakfast is not included and rather overpriced
7.1 Good
Pros: Great rooms product and Garden House food was excellent.
Cons: Room set up was poor for the price - a 2 day old welcome card was left in the room. Breakfast was a disaster- 20 minute wait for a coffee and we had to remind our server about missing food.

Cons: Rang the bell When we arrived . Couldn’t hear it ring so rang again. Got thoroughly told off by owner when he answered door. Felt like a naughty child-I’m in my 50s!! Absolutely no excuse for rudeness. Perhaps a note stating that visitors will not hear bell but owner will would be in order.

Pros: This B&B is perfectly located, being only 10 minutes from Gatwick. It's well set up for receiving guests coming from the airport. We arrived at 11 pm, and were able to check ourselves in with no issues. Breakfast was good, with fresh coffee, yogurt, pastries, toast, jams, fruit, etc... No one went hungry! The hosts, Tony & Linda, were great; they were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a few minutes of great conversation with them. Linda was so kind as to call a cab for us, and went out of her way to make sure that it arrived on time. Unfortunately, we only had a few hours to spend there, but between the comfortable beds, friendly hosts, good breakfast, and a beautiful church & cemetery that was part of our morning walk, Gatwick House was perfect for us!

Pros: The house was very beautiful. The rooms were just the right size for one person. Loved the shower with hot water on demand. I was comfortable walking the .7 mile to the Royal Oak Pub for dinner because I did have a head torch to light the way.
Cons: That the nearest bus stop to it was nearly 1-1/2 miles away. There was a close bus stop but it was out of service.

Clean rooms with basin and common bathroom which was not a problem at all for me. Self service continental breakfast that you can have at anytime, very good for those who have to catch very early flights. Highly recommended !

Pros: Location was excellent and nearby the course I had to attend. Breakfast was great
Cons: It was on a very high standard already
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. I had a track view which I expected to be noisy but it wasn't noisy at all. The assistant manager was lovely and very welcoming. The gym was well equipped. The Executive room was very spacious. The bathroom had a shower and a bath. Very clean throughout. The bed was comfortable and track view was awesome.
Cons: When checking into the hotel I was told I was being upgraded to track view for free. However, the chap at reception gave me a deluxe room with a track view even though I paid for the Executive room. When realising he had made a mistake the assistant manager fixed it straight away and got me an executive room and apologised for the mistake.

9.6 Excellent
Cons: Lovely, clean, manager was helpful, greatl location for airport.
4.0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The downstairs & landing & also the bathroom were clean & modern.
Cons: The room was grubby with broken furniture. The 2 chairs in the room were old & stained. The shower was too small.

Cons: Nothing that would impact our stay at the Lawn Guest House
9.2 Excellent
Pros: All good, very good staff, good location for walking into town
Cons: Not a complaint and it may be listed in the hotel details but for breakfast only options are continental, eggs and kippers. Wasn't an issue for me but don't be expecting a full English......
9.6 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived Quasim was so friendly and helpful. We stayed at The Lawn Guest House as we were due to fly from Gatwick early the following morning. The location was great, literally 5 minutes drive to the airport. We are quite new to travel and Quasim helped us so much, booking us a taxi (driven by Quasims mum, she was lovely too) to take us to the airport, explaining what we had to do and where we had to go. He really did settle my nerves. We also left our vehicle at the Lawn Guest House for the duration of our holiday and it was well looked after. Again nothing for us to worry about. Our room was clean and comfortable, unfortunately for us the people in the room above or behind us were quite noisy, so we didn't get a lot of sleep, but this is no reflection on the property at all. Its just bad luck.
Cons: We were really happy with our stay. For the money that we paid, I would not have expected anymore. The owner, was friendly and so helpful and the room clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for?

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but adequate, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the transfers from and to the airport we're on time and quick.

Cons: Smell of the kitchen/cooking when entering the hotel Shower with low water pressure Describing the hotel as "fabulous" on booking.com is a bit over the top
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel if we had know that we was going to be put in one of the chalet rooms we wouldn't of booked here and to make matters worse the toilet seat was hanging off would not stay in this part of the hotel again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were brilliant will stay here again
Cons: Nothing not like
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. Although I arrived in the middle of the night the courtesy bus took no time at all to pick me up. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding in any way. The whole place had an air of efficiency. The bathroom was small but everything worked well and was clean.
Cons: It's a long time since I stayed in such a small room. I had two cases and the only place I could put them in the room was up against the door. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire. That being said I was only staying one night and the room was clean, and the (single) bed confortable enough
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great proximity to the airport and very convenient shuttle to get to my flight in the morning. Really comfortable sleep and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff & food was excellent and surpassed our expectations and if flying from Gatwick again I would reuse!
Cons: Nothing really apart from noisy couple outside in the car park at 02.30 not sure if they were staff or guests! But that’s not the hotels fault!
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Shower was powerful
Cons: Didn’t eat there so no comment on food or drinks. The receipt was printed on a tiny piece of paper that even my child struggled to read
