The upscale, Spanish-colonial style Hotel Figueroa is located just opposite of the Grammy Museum in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The hotel was first established in 1926 as a haven for professional female travelers, which was quite a rare and progressive statement at the time. The hotel maintains its creative and socially progressive stature to this day.
Over 260 elegantly styled rooms and suites are furnished with artistic touches and contemporary Spanish charm. Pros (+) The hotel staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. They had umbrellas you can borrow.
Cons (-) The cleaning staff needs to be retrained. The basics were not taken care of in my room eg shampoo, conditioner, floor mat etc... were not replenished when needed/ garbage pails were not emptied.

Pros (+) Hotel was beautiful and incredibly clean. The bed was great and the bathroom was clean but a little outdated. The staff was amazing, especially Andrew who checked us in. The most amazing part though was the pool and the location!
