I napped on the bed for 30 minutes and woke up with a bad back and neck and so did my boyfriend. The bed was like a wooden plank, the towels were crunchy and hard, and the soap didn't even lather. We checked out after an hour- we couldn't stay any longer unfortunately.
Close to point pleasant My daughter got her period and got some blood on the sheets by accident. The manager called police and wanted me to buy the hotel a new mattress
Location The front desk person kept disappearing and people trying to check in were asking me if there was anyone working I asked for a cork screw and front desk refused to look for one and said "we don't have any" and then tried to give me scissors to "break into" my wine- never once said I will make the suggestion to my manager to have one on hand for guess
The room was very clean. Very friendly people working desk . Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the morning breakfast was very nice. Paying $3 for a bottle of water from there snack center.
Service was the best I've seen
I was a very nice stay. Courtyards aren't usually top tier so that's why I gave it 4 stars however it was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool was freezing cold and really needs a heater and the whirlpool had far too much chlorine which made me feel a little sick after use.
Great value for the cost. Not many dining options nearby, but Wawa across street offers a surprising variety of healthier grab-and-go options.
Mentally illed people walking around the hotel asking for cigarettes. The goverment might have put him in there to stay.
??? Stained Sheets, messy halways, nasty smells. Generally ghetto.
5 minutes from the beach, parking included. the only hotel that was avail holes in the curtains.holes in the blanket. balcony door doesn't open. really bad mattress VERY NIOSY FROM PARTYING STUDENTS IN THE NEXT ROOM 140! FOR AN UGLY MOTEL?! REALLY?!
Relatively clean, inexpensive accommodations Loud shouting in the halls throughout the night - difficult to sleep.
The price was right for a few nights stay at the Jersey shore. The people at the front desk were helpful with questions asked. Liked that there was breakfast available. There were some noisy people next door. The bathroom door would not stay open when trying to get fresh air inside. Was concerned about an elderly lady who sat outside and smoked . Every time we would enter/exit the hotel she was there. Just a little weird.
Breakfast in the morning, cleanliness and convenience and the pool.
The view and being so close to the beach Everything. Water was barely running and was luke warm which made it feel like I was in jail, considering there was no heat and it was freezing. It seems like a lot of druggies rent from this place, lots of drama ( watching people argue loudly as I was leaving , had a random dude follow me to Dunkin' Donuts asking if he could borrow my phone, and I said No, which he didn't appreciate)
Very unhelpful staff!
Half a block from the beach, easy to get to, comfortable beds, very quiet neighborhood, attentive staff. We really only needed a place to sleep and it worked for us. I would most likely stay there again. The man at the desk even offered to help with our bags and made suggestions for restaurants No phones in the rooms, had to go back down to the front desk as soon as we got there because our key didn't open the door. Then we had to go back down again because the bathroom was dirty. The TV was on the fritz.
Great combination of B&B and hotel. Turn of century boarding house, updated in keeping with period but modern facilities. Nicely decorated room, good closet space and amenities, bathroom updated and adequate. Will return. Good value in the Fall. Not far from beach, on the lake.
Beautiful location and helpful staff. Poor breakfast.
The bed was comfortable, the water always hot, the staff called to make sure I arrived safe and offered patience and help in finding my way there. My room was incredibly clean and I felt like a home away from home.
Very beautiful rooms, small but efficient and comfortable. Nice pool. Staff was very friendly. Beach passes were included. Short walk from the beach. Enjoyed every second of our stay.
Great staff. They were very accommodating to our needs. They even upgraded our room to suite (bigger space)) since they had a vacant (weekday) and we had a small child. No complain
The employees are very nice, the place is impeccably clean, and the beach passes are a definite plus! Could hear the neighbors once in a while when we were in the bathroom, so we knew they could hear us. However, this was not too bad and didn't happen so often.
My name and I stay in a lot of hotels while we're on the road and this is literally one of the quarter we've ever been to. We drove all day from Providence, RI for a site the next day in Asbury Park, NJ. We cost this hotel because it had 3 beds and a kitchen which is pretty rare. It was freezing outside. When we got into our room the great was completely off and unplugged (I assume to save energy) so the room was also freezing. The room actually had two heaters one of which never worked for our entire stay. The next day I went down to the office to complain that the heater was not working. The "lady" at the front desk basically called me a liar repeatedly saying that I didn't know what I was talking about. We were going to stay for another night but they were so rude that we decided to go to a different hotel. Later that day, they called us and claimed that we had stolen two of their pillows. I tried to explain that no one in my group had any reason to steal pillows but again they claimed I was lying. Then they charged $20 to my credit card to make up for these imaginary pillows. Which I believe is illegal because this charge was not authorized.
There was nothing to like Room 125 Manager: Keith Date of stay: August 15th 2015 Duration of stay 4 hours.... and drove back home (2 1/2hrs.) Recommendation: Never stay here. 1) I requested a non smoking room and received a room full of fumes...Cigarette smells and mildew / moldy scents 2) The ceiling had a massive crack from the main door to the opposite side of the room.... I had asked if there was water damage since the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were full of mildew and coming down. 3) Floor tiles were lose and coming up 4) This room was totally neglected, The main door to the room was rusted out... right hand conner of the door was deteriorating and seemed as if someone could kick right through 5) I asked for a pet friendly room, but I should have asked for a human friendly room.... i sure my dogs would have gotten sick if I stayed longer. 6) The Pictures online did not remotely match the hole in the wall I stood in 7) The linens were clean but the beds looked like they needed to be tossed. I was totally afraid that I would take home bed bugs or crabs! 8) If anyone fails to mentions, this location is flanking a bar/club .... yes... young loud college frat kids that will be up all night will be your neighbors 9) I have read the reviews here and I can't agree with any of the cleanliness comments.... this place should be considered a motel... the "condom" on the floor in the hall speaks for it self 10) Price: 225.00.... it should have been $60.00 per night.... 11) I was a 1 of 2 groups made up of 4 individuals...... both groups said: "HELL NO" we can't stay here.... and headed back to Brooklyn NY 12) Keith the manager, did not want to refund my card... he told me directly, that if I called Consumer's affairs, all I was trying to do was to blackmail him for a better rate.... ????????? Help me understand that....
Very nice hotel staff very friendly
Very accommodating staff public area a little minimal
It was a very nice hotel close to beach. I wanted a room facing beach and my room had view but not exactly what I wanted. The clerk on duty found a room facing the ocean and let me upgrade for the two nights. Was very pleased with the hotel staff.
Very nice close location to the beach that we enjoy, and since it was before prime time it was very quiet. The rooms are small and clean but the hot water took for ever to get hot. Also there is no refrigerator or mirco so if you are there foe a time its annoying.
I did not like anything about this hotel I didnt like the fact that my family couldn't take a shower because the tub was so filthy. The covers was smelly and had cigarette holes in it. The first room was disastrous and i couldn't breathe because it smelled so bad. The second room Was worst. I had to sleep on top of towels just so i don't touch the bed. A used band aid, cigarette butts on floor. Just please, dont stay there. If you are a pwr a on with class and not trash this hotel is not for you.
The first floor room The first floor room
The cleaning lady was awesome don't remember her name but she has on blonde hair When I went to check in the front desk clerk (a man) I asked if their was a nonsmoking bedroom and he said no so we headed to a nasty really bad condition smoking bedroom where we couldn't be in there with how bad it smelt it was on the 2nd fl. So I went back to the office and I said sorry but I can't toe rate the smell so then he changed my room to a very nice new remodeled bedroom. It bothered me because he said there wasn't any
Nothing. The photo doesn't even reflect the same place. I stayed for about 20 minutes and left. Disgusting.
price no coffee pot
Nothing, aside from the location. The dirty bathrooms, the stench, everything.
I loved the atmosphere...very sophisticated and nice! Bed very comfortable...wished I had a chance to use the jazuzzi tub! Very comfortable and convenient stay...def. will be there again; had a nice surprising UPGRADE...and breakfest in the am had fresh everying! Was impressed :) The only thing that I did not like, is the movie selection; no way of renting a movie in the room....for privacy...
