Poor
Steven, Dec 2022 - Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
This hotel is not close to the center of the city or a metro/tram stop. The room is very dark even with all the lights on because there’s only lamps and all the walls/curtain are dark colors. The grout in the bathroom and shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Would not recommend for the price they’re asking.

Pros (+) I liked the general hotel and layout but it was far.
Cons (-) I would have preferred to be closer to city centre.

Aaron, Aug 2019 - Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Pros (+) Very clean and retro 1960s. Staff were friendly.
Cons (-) We didn’t really get a whole of info on check-in about where things were in the hotel or the cleaning service policy. The bed wasn’t a queen but rather two smaller mattresses put together, which wasn’t very comfortable. For the price, nothing was included, like breakfast or real coffee. I will definitely do an Air BnB next time. This was the only hotel I used in a 5 country vacation of Europe and ...

Pros (+) Great place, far enough from the action but only a few minutes away from the tram and 15 minutes in Uber or bike.

Jason, Sep 2017 - Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Pros (+) Beautiful well maintained hotel located close to the center of Amsterdam but outside of the very busy areas. Our room was right on the water on the first floor and it was very romantic. Staff was very friendly.
Cons (-) The location of our room was far from the lobby and hotel entrance and we had to go up some stairs then down a full flight of stairs just to get to our room - there’s no elevator access to our room. We had very heavy bags and it was a pain getting to our room and leaving. Shower in the bathroom has no door and floods the bathroom every time you shower.

Pros (+) - Clean business style hotel. - Luggage room - The other staff except MR Moriba were friendly helpful and nice. Mr Anand and Mr ha...d were very nice. - We left the luggage for 2 weeks in the hotel and it was safe.
Cons (-) - Airport shuttle - publicized on the web description. However the shuttles are far and few only a few times in a day. I picked the hotel for the shuttle... and ended up waiting a long while for the shuttle timing. We could not use the shuttle for our morning flight at 10 am, coz the shuttles only started after 7:30 am. I wish they allowed some flexibiity or at least had the shuttles available on ...

Pros (+) Nice breakfast restaurant
Cons (-) Room was not prepared by the maid with the customer in mind. Nothing was replenished by maid. Room needed to be cleaned up much better, prior to arrival.
