Very good
Anonymous, Aug 2020 - Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Pros (+) Comfy beds, the staff Troy and Meisha were super accommodating and nice, we got a late check out which was really helpful. We also got a corner room with a great view.
Cons (-) The only parking available was $35/night, which I get is pretty standard for downtown properties, but we did have to find parking. Some of the furniture in the room was a little dinged up, could probably use some renovating. One of the elevators was having some issues but not a big deal.

Pros (+) The location of the hotel
Cons (-) The room was super dark even the bathroom need better lightening. I was Charge one price on Kayak and another price once I checked out. I showed the clerk my initial statement she said she don’t know why I was Quoted that and it was nothing she could do. I will not stay at the Ellis or book with Kayak again.

Poor
Anonymous, Nov 2016 - Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Pros (+) Location: was accessible to the locations I was in Atlanta for.
Cons (-) Staff were very inattentive. Door man just sat on a bench on his phone, never once opening a door, receptionists were unable to find packages I had had shipped there. Food was across the board poor: paper shreds in my granola, green eggs in my cob salad, incorrect sides came with my room service. Cleanliness: in the room walls were scuffed, their was just smutz on everything! Like the lamp, counte...

Pros (+) This was my third times staying here. It is always clean and the staff from the front desk to valet are all helpful and down to earth. It is close to everything I usually come to Atlanta for. It's within walking distance to the Georgia Dome for Falcons games, the aquarium, Coca Cola World and the Tabernacle that we see a lot of concerts at.
Cons (-) My only compliant is it seems I can never get the room cool enough.

Pros (+) Clean room, comfy bed
Cons (-) Noisy (street noise + doors in hallway). Restaurant is terrible, don't waste your money. Gym is small but acceptable if all you need is a treadmill or elliptical---bring your device because all tvs broken in some way.
