comfortable and quiet. nice colors in the room they never told me it was a handicap room. long wait to check out
The room was clean. The hotel was in a terrible part of town. There is nothing but homeless and run down streets. We actually heard a gunshot. We were scheduled to stay two nights but cancelled the second out of fears for our safety and our vehicle. The staff was accommodating with this change.
Staff was excellent, room was clean, restaurant/bar on-site, free breakfast, timely shuttle to the airport. It was exactly what I needed to catch my flight the next morning. Bathroom was a little small and there was no conditioner for my hair, but otherwise my stay was great.
Despite close proximity to airport, it was quiet. Front desk and house keeping staff were courteous and friendly. The onsite restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Had to wait 30 minutes to check in because they did not have my reservation in the system (it was booked using one of those hotel booking sites). It was eventually resolved but not something you want to do at midnight after a long trip. First room had a telephone but no wire connecting it. The TV set did not work. 2nd room had a telephone with a connecting wire but no dial tone. With two queen beds, room was a little tight, could not sit at the desk and another person get by. In both rooms, toilet seats were loose.
Everything about the actual room was nice. We stayed the night in a king size. There was air conditioning, a fridge, and free coffee packets. Overall, I think Comfort Inn is a good name, because we both slept like babies. I wish we were up early enough to eat the breakfast. I'm sure it was good. The staff was nice overall. However, when I checked in, one of the nice ladies at the counter didn't speak English too well. Communication was difficult, but I'm not sure how much control Comfort Inn has over this nitpick. Also, at least for now, there is a lot of construction in the area. So it's hard to imagine what the stay would have been like without it. But neither of us were particularly fond of the prolonged roadwork.
View of Overgrown, abandoned hotel across the parking lot and moldy/ musty smelling room.
Convenient to the airport. My flight was cancelled and this was a great place to stay for the night. Room was comfortable and clean. Wait staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good.
approximate to airport, clearn & staff was helpfull lobby was extremely hot and humid, restaurant was ok... food not so great.
Staff was very friendly and professional. Restaurant was open late and had free room service. Breakfast started early.
The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet at least when construction was not happening. 15 minutes from downtown Detroit and close to other cities but not really "in" Detroit. Some state police were staying there so I parked next to their patrol cars just in case. A noon checkout time was also very flexible. Details details... There was construction on every floor instead of one floor at a time so you couldn't get away from the noise. They didn't start until about 11am which is considerate however we got in at about 3am so it was not the wake up call I was looking for. The TV remote only worked sporadically. Again, not the end of the world but another frustration. We had an issue with our key card and the response was "do you want a cookie?" Not in a rude way by any means but really? The bathroom door had to be shoved closed and the vending machine was completely empty. We also purchased a Starbucks bottled drink from the gift shop that had been expired for two months. Those don't keep well. And for the love of God please take the "Detroit girlz" shirt out of the gift shop window. It's a double tree, not a dollar tree.
I liked the getaway vibe of the hotel, it was just what I needed. It seemed like a slow night so thankfully it was quiet with the occasional slam of a door in the hallway. The warm cookie is always a plus Going out in the evening was a blast but it seemed like the staff disappeared after 9pm. It seemed like a ghost town and a bit unsafe.
This hotel is clean and has a great location. You're 20 minutes from downtown and the airport. You're outside of the congestion of the city, but close enough tof get to all that's great about Detroit! I had to call the front desk to have my room cleaned one day. Housekeeping came at 9 in the morning, and when we we said we didn't need anything at that time, they never came back to clean our room while we were out. They came after 7 PM after we called the front desk to complain.
The hotel is inclusive, and the rooms are clean. Most of the staff I encountered were friendly. Overall, the stay was a good experience. Some areas seem to not be updated and well taken care of. The pool room was empty of clean towels, dirty towels were scattered around, and the hot tubs were outdated and not as warm as most hot tubs.
Great warm cookies. Comfortable beds. Excellent A/C. Nice work out facility & pool. Too many pubic hairs in the tub. Makes one a bit leery for taking a bath.
Staff when i checked in was great. Offered me a cookie, chips, and water. Very service oriented. There was some hair in the bathtub when i arrived to my room.
Room wasn't ready on time. Someone's else's dirty washcloth was on tub. I was billed for grill food and was never at grill. I told staff in the morning but still watching to make sure I get the credit for the restaurant charges!!
The staff were really helpful, and did what was necessary to make our stay comfortable. There are a couple of food places in the plaza that the hotel is in, which makes life easier. Overall, it was a great stay and would stay there again.
It was clean and quiet. The room was adequate size and bed was queen. Staff curtious. Resturant convenient and waitress, Brandi, helpfull and a good server. No problems.
courteous staff, clean room, comfortable bed, fast an reliable wifi dated furnishings very limited TV channel selection location is less than ideal
Clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood
The rooms and decor were a lot from than you would expect from a Best Western. The restaurant was great! My kids had pizza in the room every night.0
Located right off freeway. For vacation this hotel is okay for business trip I would not recommend. Bed was comfortable. Very small room, no desk only a round table with a chair that was not adjustable. The blow dryer was attached to a wall outside of the bathroom (long cord but only reach to part of the bathroom, if you were right handed you had to almost stand in the bathroom doorway to use it with a decent mirror) and the bathroom was extremely tight. Overall the room was very dark.
Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The hotel has character and is located close to Dearborn and Detroit attractions. Could have had more TV channels.
Friendly staff, good value for the money, allows dogs
One of the best Best Western I've been to. Staff was great and really helpful. Loved the O'Henry restaurant on site. Easy to find and extremely convenient to all points of interest we had on our schedule to see.
The hotel us clean and comfortable. Large room for the price. The hotel is a little dated. It's seen a lot of customers. Reasonable care has been made to keep the property up, but, like age lines, it's age shows through.
First class amenities. Excellent staff. 50 inch HD tv
Very thin walls.
Proximity to area attractions, good restaurant on site, reasonable rates, friendly staff. Not much of a selection of TV channels, lots of noisy teenagers at the time of our stay due to a hockey tournament, no free breakfast.
Wonderfully relaxing, nice pool area. Room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were lovely. Parking was awkward. Only in the back of the building and not even big enough to park full capacity. Breakfast was also awkward as they had a difficult time working during a busy rush of people. Did make it up to us by giving us free lunch.
The water was hot and the mini bar fridge worked. Room service was lovely and pillows were nice. Lobby was lovely and staff professional. What a horrid, rundown dump. Hallways reeked of mildew, carpeting was dirty, marble stained, bathroom reeked of stale urine, towels were worn and one stained w red fingernail polish, bed was as hard as a rock, and I felt itchy all night like bugs were biting me. The room was super noisy and we heard every person who walked by, and doors slamming all night! When we came back to hotel from a private party at 11:15pm, there was no parking available and no valet service...when we inquired if there even was a valet, the bellhop told us he didn't know anything about it. Overpriced, even w a 50% discount. This is s one star hotel at best. I will NEVER return.
Great restaurant that gladly provided excellent vegan meals. Poor housekeeping staff.
no hot water for shower on sunday morning
Everything was great help was polite The quite ano comfort Kids loved pool
Free coffee always Friendly staff 1. Musty bathroom smell 2. Rowdy wedding party staying there that trashed the elevator and hallways and would run by knocking on doors at all hours
The value and location The bed and pillows were uncomfortable
Breakfast was amazing! The issue we had was fixed immediately. The keyless doors were great, not having to stick the key info the for was a great benefit to us with young children. Check in wasn't until 3
They were very accommodating, had a little market with snacks, and always had hot cocoa, tea, and coffee available no matter the time of day. The complimentary breakfast wasn't too bad either. One of the staff, Hassam I believe, wasn't very good at explaining how the deposit worked. It was a little frustrating. Aside from that, nothing really negative to say.
The room was nice-- modern and spacious. We stayed on a Saturday night. As we entered the lobby, it was absolutely chaotic. There were children running around, people were loud and boisterous and the area wasn't clean. Also the elevator is quite small and needed cleaning. We got to our room, and there were several parties going on across from us, next to us and on the floor above us. It was extremely noisy and we couldn't sleep. I called the front desk and complained. They said they would send someone up right away, but the noise continued. I would not stay here again for this reason.
Room is clean
Liked the park and fly component. We were taken quickly to the airport early in the morning and picked up promptly on return. All staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was fine.
Clean and comfortable There was no shampoo & only one pack of regular coffee
convenience, breakfast is fine, clean, near rental car lots and expressway access. polite staff. coffee maker and microwave in room. comfortable bed. reasonable price. I always stay there when visiting Michigan. faucets and knobs in tub were loose and almost falling off.
Great service. I was able to check in early with my mother (on our way to her high school reunion), and then the airport shuttle in the morning was extremely accommodating and allowed me to see her off, and take a nap before my grandkids arrived in the afternoon. All around perfect!!
The room was updated, clean, and comfy. Was everything you hope for in a hotel room after a long day of traveling.
Very nice for early morning flight. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Airport location Nothing
A heavenly oasis conveniently located Absolutely nothing - it was fabulous!
Comfortable, quiet, accessible to airport Reception. Girl difficult to understand. Nasal tone and way too fast and she was resentful when I asked her to slow down and after that was completely unhelpful.
Beautiful property. Great staff, extremely small rooms.
Historic style complements the gracious service offered by every staff member. The site itself is a trip back in time, with a calm and restful atmosphere. Meals at both the grille and the restaurant were well-prepared and served. As a woman traveling alone, I felt perfectly safe and comfortable in all areas of the property. Every employee -- desk, maintenance, housekeeping, food service -- was cordial and willing to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I would return without hesitation.
Like everyone else is saying, this place charges you for the internet AND COFFEE. They have the little coffee makers but only supply you with limited cream and sugar, no big deal but its a fancy hotel coffee should be limitless and free in the lobby. The rooms were extremely small even for 2 people. The bed was small and the bathroom......small with no exhaust fan. Asthetically beautiful hotel. The staff was amazing at your beck and call, except the front desk. The first night we checked in teh YOUNG KID acted like he really didnt care for us there. The food was sub par I have had better food at diners with similar prices. Would I recommend it.........I dont have knowledge of the other hotels in detroit but if the other hotels are clean and cheap, then I would recommend other hotels.
I visited the Inn just for a relaxing weekend . The room was beautiful and the staff was extremely pleasant. Room service was top quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This year I chose the Dearborn Inn for annual visit to the auto show, based on history, location, and consistently good reviews. I was not disappointed at all. Despite some smell of cigarette smoke in our hallway, everything else was great. The daily breakfast was fantastic and well worth the additional charge. Can't wait to visit in the summer when the pool is open.
When we got to the hotel the room rate was $70.00 per night more than what was quoted on the internet. We were not correctly informed where the package breakfast was to be provided at, hence being charged for breakfast.
As usual our dinner was fabulous. The food and service is outstanding!!
Smack in the middle of Ford development land, this beautiful hotel has been well maintained and seemingly updated on a regular bases. A part from the classic mouldings, doors, and handles, there is nothing that makes this place feel old. I loved the room layout and couldn't have asked for more from this treasure of the past.
Air vents were fifth. Heater would not heat above 71 degrees. Hotel did not have elevator in the cottages.
Beautiful hotel, chock full of history. Staff was wonderful, restaurant, particularly breakfast was above par. Bed comfy and all of the usual J.W. Marriott amenities. Room was dated (it is a historic hotel, right?) so that made it a bit too small for two people. The bathroom was microscopic with minimal counter space. I would say that for one person, it was the right size. If they have a suite that would be better for two people. Otherwise great hotel and great staff. Also, beautifully decorated for the holidays.
We were in town for the NCAA tourney and booked a number of rooms at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found The Dearborn Inn to be perfect for a gathering of friends. The common areas were spacious and graciously appointed, the bar was lots of fun, and our room was especially nice (newly renovated). We enjoyed a bountiful and reasonably priced breakfast buffet and also dinner in the more formal Early American Dining Room (a little pricey but wonderful). Great location midway between airport and downtown, just a short drive to The Henry Ford Museum as well as shopping and dining in Dearborn. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lots of charm and class for the money.
I thought the staff was trying to make up for the shortcomings that the Marriot chain placed on them. There were several areas of concern. The first was the charge for internet service while in your room; I've stayed in much less expensive hotels where internet service was free. The 2nd bothersome item was the noise created by the air conditioning unit. I thought I was at the airport with planes taking off. The room was clean however the hallways were not. And finally, why do they provide the cheapest toilet paper known to man. Awful!!!!
good price, convenient to Henry Ford. facilities appear to be updated, We had a microwave and fridge. Neighborhood a bit run down. Grab and go breakfast is a bottle of water, a small apple and a muffin or granola bar.
For the location and price, it was well worth the money. I would recommend this particular location to anyone possibly looking for an overnight stay. I had to call to the front desk for more tissue. Not enough in the room.
Great service at front desk. Clean room and nicely renovated. Because construction was going on it did not look very appealing when pulling in for first time. A little noisy at times.
The location was great and our room was very clean. The Smoke Detectors on our floor were falling out of the ceiling. The girl that checked us in didn't know the area, and couldn't give us any advise or help on finding a place to go for dinner.
the flat screen tvs and the beds were nice That not every room had a fridge and microwave
Counter staff were nice, check-in went smooth, and the price was decent. The hotel (which was in the middle of an EXTREMELY messy remodel) literally looked like something out of a war zone. It was hands down the grossest, messiest construction site I have ever seen. There was rubble everywhere, mountains of large chopped down trees piled up outside, paint and stucco every where. It was completely absurd to be running a remodel in an operating hotel that looked like that. The rooms themselves were ok, but many things were out of place, room numbers were taped to the wall beside the doors and it just felt off. I am not usually picky about the 3-4 dozen hotel/motels I stay in each year, but this one was ridiculous.
Employees were fantastic. The beds were rock hard. needs some remodeling. its very outdated.
Our room had an air conditioner that didn't work and a leaking ceiling with a full bucket of dirty water under it. The room should have never been rented to anyone. They did move us to another room whe we asked.
There was nothing redeemable about this Days Inn except for the fact that they had a room for us to stay in We had called prior to booking ahead about whether cats were allowed in the hotel. (We are moving cross country with our cat). They said yes, so we booked our hotel room with them. When I called the day of our flight to let them know we would be arriving late with our cat (our flight was delayed 5 hours), the woman on the phone yelled at me that the hotel has a no cat policy. However, on the Days Inn website, the hotel is listed as pet-friendly. They made an exception for us but I was surprised at the reaction of the front desk person on the phone.
Very comfortable beds and the rooms were pretty clean. It was under construction, the breakfast area was a mess, cold breakfast only, my fiance got sick from an allergic reaction to something in the sheets.
For an early morning flight this is a fine location - return the rental car at night, sleep and shuttle to the airport in the early morning. Functional and Efficient. The restaurant needs an update...
Cheapish Old and grungy feeling to the place
This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in, I can't believe it showed up at the top of my kayak search. The room supplied minimal toiletries, I waited 45 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive and then another 25 minutes to drive the mile to the hotel because the shuttle made so many stops.
Nice beds Cold pool, paper thin walls, fan didn't work on the register
The public area's were very nice and appealing. Indoor and outdoor pool were both clean. Room was large bathroom was nice. Large bar area (did not use but looked nice). Biggest continental Breakfast I've ever seen. Slow drain in shower was annoying. Iron chained to ironing board rendered the entire board useless. Bed was very hard, uneven and uncomfortable. Breakfast was HUGE but very limited selection of food. It was huge in SIZE not in selection, but still better than the average CONTINENTAL breakfast.
super convenient to spend a night here before flying out of DTW, the shuttle left every 15 mins. my girlfriend and i enjoyed the overall layout of the place, and wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. would definitely stay here again hardly anything at all.
A place to sleep. Been to this brand of hotel before and this is not what I expected. Sheets were turned inside out to guessing not washed. Had to slam the door to get it to close. Changed rooms 3 time to make sure I got the king size bed I requested. Rooms had water damage on the ceiling, tv remote was broken along with a the TV which had broken tubes. Maintenance was called but never showed up.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice atmosphere The groups of hockey teams playing hockey in the lobby, running the halls during the night. Parents drinking in lobby and walking and talking halls at night. The hot tub again (second year in a row) was not functioning.
Location to Detroit airport. Very little outside noise. Could have been because hotel was almost empty. Poor help. Room key did not work had to go back twice. Got stuck outside the hotel and had to walk completely around. AC controls did not function correctly. Unit was flashing low battery. could not use the auto function on the thermostat. So the fan never shut off and it was loud.Bathroom counter was so low it was almost not usable. Pool was under repair. Employees just didn't seem to care. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.
Front desk and airport shuttle staff was pleasant. Location great. Wyndham Garden lacks commitment to running a quality facility here. Staff was pleasant at desk but facilty lacks attention and it needs a make over. Ugly decor and poor attention to room. My room had dust and crud under bed, bed cover had stains, pillows uncomfortable, TV had only 3 channels with clear picture & no "sleep" feature, dirty water back filled sink during middle of night. The complimentary breakfast & dining area is under a roofed courtyard with pool etc. where the lighting is the same distasteful orange color found in outdoor industrial areas.
The garden area was beautiful. Comfortable beds, excellent free breakfast with hot oatmeal, waffles, bagels, a toaster and soo much more. Very relaxing, romantic, comfortable, puts you at ease. Free shuttle to rent a car and airport. Rough toilet paper and the towels could have been better quality. Staff not available 24 hours to bring you towels.
Excellent breakfast, spacious room, good parking Nothing
Comfy bed Noisy hallway traffic both nights. Rooms all have doors that slam shut loudly. Cheesy motel heater needed to run all night to maintain 70°f and it was only 34°f overnight.
Everything was up st standard
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Hotel experiences typically reflects it's local leadership. Each time we return because the hotel personnel are so courteous and professional. Never experienced an untoward event. Hotel staff. Professional and courteous.
It was a very clean, well kept hotel. But the fire alarm went off at 6:30 am and we stood outside for an hour before being allowed to go back inside. No compensation was given for this major inconvenience.
Very easy check in and check out process. Friendly staff. Loved the decor of the hotel. The room was great and the bed was comfortable.
quiet , peaceful
Loved the location and low price. The hotel was close. Clean place to stay right by the airport that was a good deal at the last minute. No need to spend more at other spots.
Poor service. Called five times from airport to arrange shuttle to hotel to pick up car
Convenienve to Detroit Metro Airport
Clean, comfortable room....hastle free for seniors. easy access to our car for loading luggage. Good continental breakfast. Everything was good.
Staff was very helpful, shuttle was very convenient. The rooms were also clean. For the price I expected a little more, the hotel is an old remodel and it shows as you stroll through on your way to your room.
Horrible buying experience. Was flying to Michigan to bury my mother. Connecting flight was missed due to late departing flight. Called when delay was announced, hotel nor purchasing service was willing and able to transfer reservation to a Clarion in the city we were stranded in or give a refund. Just what I need at such a time.
The value of the price I paid and the cleaniness of the hotel were fantastic
The location was very good. The check in and out was easy. The television remote was not programmed and although the clerk said she would send someone to fix it, he never came.
You must call the shuttle after a certain time to come pick you up, unlike everything on the website which says it runs 24/7 every 15 mins. The front desk lady was also rude.
It was just for 1 night - bed was fine. The trains blaring their horns in the middle of the night into the early morning hours! Woke us up several times.
There so many people in tiny room for breaksfast there no space to get something to eat it horrible tiny roon hard for people to walk thur or no seat availability to sit . Also, bad mattress to difficult sleep and dirty towels.
Sight seeing around NY
My room was perfectly adequate with no serious problems. Checking in and out was easy, quick, and smooth. The only food within easy walking distance is at a Wendy's.
Cheap and comfortable The breakfast was not continental
The staff is exceptionally courteous and accomodating, smiling and helpful. I had a great short and comfortable stay.
It wasnt a bad part of town, so we felt safe Air conditioning took forever to get cool. And there was a weird smell everywhere except the lobby. Couldn't walk around barefoot in our room without feeling like you needed to wash your feet afterwards
Very close to the airport. Shuttle to and from. Very clean and affordable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Would recommend them very highly. Not really a complaint, but the website should state that parking is free for the time you are staying at the hotel, and there is a charge for parking while you are not staying there. Some hotels include free parking for the entire time you are gone on a trip. Glad I called to confirm our reservations and discussed parking. All worked out well with their discounted parking rate though.
Front desk staff was very friendly, room was very clean and location was great!
Great price! Smelled a bit like old smoke, loud neighbors and thin walls.
Location to airport, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Basic breakfast but acceptable. Parking can be an issue, the fabrics were a little worn but not disgusting.
Right next to some fastfood restaurants (Wendy's & McDonald's) which was convenient. Hotel had shuttle service to Detroit Metro (had to pay tip to driver only). Nice & quiet. Keycard didn't work on morning of my check out (had to wait an hour before it was fixed) - Well accommodated by putting me in room opposite (which happened to be vacant) for the time being.
I arrived with my 4 yr old grandson to await my wife's arrival from a business trip, great convenience in relation to airport location .Our stay was great room was clean and very tity.check was perfect until, as I waited for final paperwork to sign I was told not to party in a very tactless and unprofessional manor . He could have been more professional I understand he was just doing his job but most people are travelers not partiers .
Nice location and clean rooms. I had to take my car to quick park and could not leave it at the hotel for free when I took my trip to Texas.
The room was clean and relaxing, me and my mom really enjoyed our stay. It got pretty loud in the pool area but i understand that cant be changed.
Great room and breakfast
George welcomed us upon our late arrival and made sure we were ready in the morning for an early flight. He was a fine example of customer service. He helped us with parking our car for our trip too.
The staff was very helpful. The entire hotel and room were clean except my bathroom floor was not cleaned well.
The entire staff had a great attitude, the breakfast was exellent and the lobby was very roomy yet personal. We also took advantage of the burger bar, possibly the best onion rings we ever had
Everything excite the maids I did not like the fact that housekeeping opened my damn door 3 times before noon (checkout) they should not be allowed in until after checkout... Bullshit!!
The fact that they didn't have our reservation when we showed up. Big screw up on kayaks part
The facility was clean and the managers happy hour was good. I called ahead for a room with a view instead what I got was a room with a dumpster view. Also they gave me the handicapped room. Being in honors member I should have received a basket of candy and water which I did not I went to the front desk and ask for it and never received it
Overall, the hotel is fine. It would go a long way to get some updates and better service persons and management. Training is needed here. Hardly a 3 star hotel, getting by on its previous prestige. For those unaware of the prior details, it probably is a bargain and seems quite nice. Spent 40 minutes waiting to check-in. One person working desk with 20 customers in line. Second woman eventually showed up and helped. Woman who appeared to be management was present, but instead of helping with the long line of waiting guests, decided that it was more important to count the cash in the drawer than to help the tired folks waiting in a long, slow moving line. Small details like the outdated / worn carpet in the halls, stained carpet by the ice machine, peeled back covering on the elevator controls in the center of the floor...this all gets overlooked with good customer service. Poor customer service makes this stand out in my mind.
And it is maintained exceptionally well. It is the best value in the area. Great launching platform for the Henry Ford Museum.
nothing - had wedding there 25 years ago so wanted to go there on the anniversary - very bad experience. the hotel should be shut down in current state no a/c maintence came as that the way all room are, soft and poor bed ,old creaky fixture in bathroom, rude staff and were frowned upon because we made reservation via 'third party. Shameful experience for our 25th anniversary. kayak
Needs renovations. Wi-fi was terrible. Could not get on the system. The rooms were decent, but lacked outlets near the bed for charging electronics. Generally clean and pet friendly!
Wonderful staff. Nice large room. We only stayed for one night. Great service, would book again.
Location and free parking It took 40 minutes once we arrived at 11:20 P.M. to check in with only one person checking guests in. The was approximately 25 people behind us in line. Unfortunate that the hotel was so short staffed.
All the staff was very friendly. It was very nice lobby area. The view was ok. Loved that they had exercise equipment over looking the pool so i could workout and watch my kids swim at the same time. The pool is not located in a good spot. You have to walk through the lobby past every one to get there. It would be nice if there was a more private way to get there.
Dance competition- -long waits for the elevators!
Close to attractions, friendly staff, nice place. Pool was not open during my stay.
The overall look of the hotel is great. It has a glossy exterior and the lobby could be awesome. Not clean. Poorly kept up, some very outdated amenities and rooms. Carpet ripped and dirty in many areas. Broken shower head in our room. Pool was freezing and worn...in need of refurbishing. Nice hotel, just needs a lot of work to make it great.
Front desk staff, hot tub/pool, beautiful hotel Rooms need serious updating and cleaning. The restaurant staff seemed to ignore us during breakfast and catered to the people who didn't look like us. We had to ask for everything...juice, menu, etc. While it was simply offered to others.
Looks like a high end hotel. Doesn't disappoint. Nice lobby. Our room was clean and spacious. On the way to our room noticed some tears in the carpet, but it didn't reflect in our room.
