Good value - friendly staff. Had to leave before the breakfast was supposed to begin - was quite pleasantly surprised to see that everything was all set out 30 minutes early. Great start for the day! Nothing not to like!
I cant say enough good things about this smaller place, but I very highly recommend a stay here if you find yourself in the area! The entire hotel was spotless, cozy, and very inviting, all members of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and all food provided was absolutely wonderful! Definitely highly recommended, and we will be staying here again when we are in the area. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
Location. It was where we wanted yo be and restaurants were very convenient. Price it cost what many 5 star hotels cost but did not have the extras or the quality of the amenities I expect from a 5 star hotel.
Room wasn't ready after have been Given key.
Breakfast was good and room was immaculate except it had only half a roll of toilet paper. Your website said there was a hot tub and there wasnt anymore. Pool was too warm for mid summer.
The staff and manager are attentive to the needs of the guests. Especially the ones that are handicapped. The rooms are great with ample room even in a wheelchair. The coziness of the front porch gives a warm inviting feeling. Entering the building with a wheelchair was a challenge as there were no automatic doors or handicap assisted doors. The staff and manager more than made up for this as every time we entered or left they assisted us.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed (double queen room), breakfast juices were not watered down, nice pool, clean fitness center.
The exercise room was clean. The staff was courteous. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet was too pricey for family at $10.95 per person. We did not eat at the hotel because of it.
No free Wifi unless you're a Hilton Honors member.
Beds were very comfortable. Dinner food was reasonably priced and the restaurant had a good variety. Restaurant hours were very limited. Breakfast food was passable and restaurant service, in general, seemed disorganized. It was a busy weekend at the hotel and, at times, there was no one at the front desk! There should have been two people at the front desk on such a busy weekend.
Fast reception. Room was clean neat and comfortable I didn't like that I stayed only one night
Location to Seneca Harbor Station was very convenient. The motel offered free internet, although there was NO communication as to the password. I called the 'emergency number' posted on the office door and requested the password. No one ever called me back.
It was clean and cheerful. The bed was amazing - I slept perfectly the entire night. Nothing - it was a great experience

The staff ! Jessica and Jessica, both of them, at the front desk were awesome. So much help in getting me moved when my a/c failed. Jessica #1 got me fans for until I could be moved, and they were a huge help. Just that the a/c in my first room wasn't working. Otherwise an excellent choice and value.
We have stayed in several other motels nearby to the Elmira/Corning Fairfield Inn but this is the one we will return to! It was above and beyond our expectations in every way. We'll definitely be back! Thanks! Everything was positive.
RE STAFF: The young woman overseeing breakfast was a delight. Shy but courteous, gracious and ever so welcoming. Convenient to restaurants etc. SURROUNDINGS: Practically in a Walmart parking lot. Not elegant but fine.
out of the 3 days there was a spider on the bed 1st day and centipede second day in the room. I brought it to their notice and 3rd day it was fine :)
This is a very friendly hotel. The staff are very nice, the service is good. The bed is comfortable, the microwave and fridge is a big plus. We enjoy the free breakfast. We will certainly return in the future.

I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the attentive staff!
The housekeeping staff was hardly accommodating for our comfort. For example: they knocked on the door and woke us up on the morning we were supposed to check out (the Do Not Disturb' sign was still hangingon the door hand, to find out if we already did.
It was our first time staying there, but we'll probably stay there again in the future. I like that it's close to down town. It was quiet and clean.
The pictures on the websites don't do it justice. It's much more updated looking in person and very clean. It's only a few blocks from the lake and so close to everything. Definitely would stay here again. The bed was a little hard for me but other than that everything was great.
Fairly clean and had a great location Little upset when we were charged $40 extra because we had 2 extra people per room. That was not written anywhere and the man at the desk wasn't exactly nice about it. The room had a funky odor to it til we let the doors open for awhile.
Very good location to Watkins Glenn State Park and other sites. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. We would use this hotel again when visiting this area. coffee pot & microwave would be nice. More attention on items such as shower heads. Smoke detector looks like it's 50 years old. The life of these smoke detector are around 5 - 8 years.
convenient location on the main street in the village
convenient location in the village and very nice room for the price. my second stay at this hotel
The service was friendly, and the bathroom updated and clean. The office smelled of cigarette smoke. The room smelled of some kind of cheap air freshener. The decor looked as if the place had been done up in the 1970's, and not touched since. It was a little down at the heels.
The view of the Lake was outstanding The bed was uncomfortable, we needed to put a pillow bet wend the mattress and box spring to avoid the feeling of falling out of bed. Their was hair on the walls of the shower.
It was clean, the staff were polite and responsive, the grounds were clean and neat. The beds were a little older, there was a small piece of trim missing in the bathroom. Nothing that was unacceptable.
Bed was dirty in the room. They gave us an upgrade but still not great. Can'tbbelieve they tried to pass off a dirty bed on us. Lighting in the room is very poor.Disappointed!
Very nice staff and great location to do wine tour as well as only a 30min drive to Ithica, Ny Could hear voices and people in early morning which woke us.
Location Room was just ok. A/c didn't fit window so large gaps in window. Carpet not vacuumed well. Towels thin and rough. Holes in blanket. No complimentary coffee in the am. No amenities whatsoever. The only good thing was the proximity to the Glen. Old, dated
Right in town, price was good. Bed was extremely uncomfortable despite being a memory foam mattress. I think the mattress must have been older.
Weird bathroom situation....no door, just a wall separating the bed area
Location Room was dirty, service is non existant.Problem with room smoke detrector (biping) reported to the hotel mgt with no effect.Room (s) was never vacuumed, the furnishing, including bedding are long past their prime (if they ever had one). Rating is -3
Location! Clean, no frills. Small rooms.
This hotel has a personality of its own, it has has a quaint attitude and coutry charm! The owner is an amazing host!! No
lousy bed - walls paper thin - doors poor - no bath woken up at 8 am... walls paper thin.. no bath.. bed too small.. room very small.. room overpriced!!!
Easy access to and from highway, decent breakfast, friendly staff including cleaning crew I was traveling with a small child under the age of 2, parked my car outside of the entrance next to my room. Unloaded him, bags and dinner only to not have my key card work at the door. Had to load him and everything back in car drive to front entrance only to find out they activated it for 1 night only when I had already paid for 2. Very frustrating. Definitely not a kid friendly place due to the extremely loud patrons in the hallway (mainly construction/oil workers from out of state)
The Bed was uncomfortable. No water pressure in the shower. It was a nasty bathroom, mold in the tile grout. I didn't want to touch anything. Every time the heater came on, it made a loud clunk, so I didn't get any sleep at all. It was dirty and smelly and the WORST experience I've ever had in a hotel.
Cheap Very old building...got what you paid for
The only good thing about this place is the close proximity to Watkins Glen. Old, run-down, dirty and smelly.
The shower stall was very dangerous. It wobbled. I had to steady my self leaning against the wall. It was like I was floating. The room was dirty. I will never stay there again. The$50 dollar rate was too much. I've stayed at places for less money and had better accomodations.
This motel is old and not updated. It was clean enough and was okay for a one night stay.
Good location, great price Room dated but clean. Restaurant closed and boarded.
Nothing. The woman up front was rude and smelled like BO and cigarettes. Our room wasn't much better. I paid for a queen, was thrown in a double. Stains everywhere. The smell of cigarettes was so intense, but this was supposed to be their non-smokers side. This place is absolutely disgusting.
I liked NOTHING about it!!! Poor motel! 12 cars in the parking lot at night and 36 to 48 rooms. No queen bed with non- smoking room. It is a dump!!! No renovations at the place for 6+ years. How does it stay open??? It is a front for foreign illegal activities??? DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
location nothing good about any of it. Old, dirty, run-down. Not worth the money at any price.
You get what you pay for with this place. That's not a terrible thing. It's just a statement of fact. There was a Motel 6 less than a mile away but it cost nearly twice as much. The accommodations weren't bad by any means, just the least expensive available. The mattress wasn't comfortable.
