Very very clean Nothing
Large room with a fridge. Pleasant grounds with an outdoor pool though we didn't use it. Walls are very thin and you can hear the TV from the adjacent room.
very clean room and nice to have fresh coffee, juice and muffins in the morning.
The motel was exactly what we expected. Not pretty or interesting but serviceable, clean and easy to use at a fair price. When we are in Stratford we hope to use the room for about 10 hours most of it asleep so safe, clean and quiet are what we want. The bed was only OK with foam rubber pillows but not a big issue.
Clean and no tobacco smell. Fresh towels and supplies every day. Pleasant welcoming receptionist. Not really. The only thing I would have changed was to have brighter lighting.
I have stayed at the hotel previously and over the years they have upgraded the property. I think it has gone from adequate to nice.
Location was very serene and rooms very clean. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful. No
Beautiful setting, lots of amenities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The train! It was very close and loud. Thankfully it seemed to stop by 10 pm.
I wish I had more time to stay! We stayed in one of the little cabins and it was adorable. Everything a guest could need was supplied. Umbrellas, even a bag of popcorn! Very clean and comfortable.
First and foremost, coming from a wooded area ourselves, the setting was beautiful and offered so much more than any hotel we have ever booked. Trails, campfire, atmosphere. Overall, what is most important to both of us is cleanliness. Super clean!! No negatives.
The hospitality of the staff. The pleasant outdoor places to sit, eat, read, etc.
Very nice hotel with an excellent staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable in a nice wooded location yet not far from town.
Location and very nice breakfast. Very nice grounds-but due to a lot of rain-walking trails not in good shape. Only the price.
Owners were welcoming and informative, property is lovely, among trees a bit away from the town, but definitely worth it. Bikes available on loan, areas to sit near the lake in the evening. Trail was buggy, but just a fact of the weather
Clean, attractive bedding. The outside could use some curb appeal. It's a basic motel that has been maintained fairly well with updated bedding. It was reasonably priced and satisfied our needs for our stay.
Though I had booked a room with 2 beds. When I got there, it was 1. Staff quickly gave me a room to my liking. TV did not work
Clean, well located, friendly and helpful staff.
it was affordable. newly renovated bath, new carpet and windows. I couldn't open a window. The breakfast is minimal and you have to leave the room to get a cup of coffee
The mattress sagged in the middle. There was no timepiece in the room. Annoying that the electrical outlet at the bathroom sink is switched off with the light.
Overall it was clean and tidy. desk staff was very friendly Yes the hotel is outdated but the cleanliness of the place made ut worthwhile
Clean with friendly staff Room nicer than out ward appearance.
Close to Stratford Festival Theatre. There was a smell in the room - possibly urine.
Honestly, I had no issues with the hotel other than a bit of housekeeping. The TV had a bit of bad colour but worked fine. I got what I paid for. Staff extremely pleasant. I would definitely stay there again. Not as clean as it should be. There were a couple long hairs in the bedspread that definitely were't mine. Got a new set of sheets immediately (the man offered to make my bed with sincere apologies) Floors definitely not clean, bathroom floor icky.
Bed was nice, liked some of the decorating, big TV. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Bathroom quite rundown, tap very touchy and hard to adjust to the safe temperature, no glasses. really missed them! THe online listing said no amenities in room but got there and there was a microwave and a fridge. Couldnt get on the WIFI
The manager of this property went out of his way to help in any way he could. l am in my mid sixties, and slightly handicapped; and he bent over backwards to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible, all things considered. Unfortunately, the premises were not up to his standards of customer service. He is to be lauded for his genuine kindness and care for a guest's well being. l was in a designated "Non Smoking" room... the blankets and bedspreads were covered in cigarette burn holes, and a light layer of grit. The smoke detector had been removed leaving only bare wires. My clothes wreaked of smoke even though l don't smoke. The toilet paper had no holder. There was a coffee maker but no coffer or other supplies. There was a bar fridge which was so uneven, anything l put in it fell over when l opened the door. The area to hang up clothes was located over the fridge, so anything of any length laid across the fridge to. There was no clock or clock radio in the room, nor were there any hand rails in the bathtub/shower area. The lighting was very bad, casting a "yellow" glow over everything, causing me to use the wrong makeup, (l was going to a wedding). This property should not be featured on your list of hotels to recommend. Especially when it was advertised as $45 and turned out to be $73.00 ... if a property is advertised, at least have the honesty to use the the dollar value of the country wherein it is located, don't leave us to find out you have quoted US$ in a CDN city!
Were sent to two rooms that were not ready. Were not really cleaned thoroughly. Found an onion ring on the floor near the bed. TVs were horribly out of date and remotes sometimes functioned.
