Holiday Inn tried to double charge me for the room I was staying in. I was on the phone over 2 hours on our last day trying to straighten it out. It was definitely not how I wanted to spend my last bit of time in New Orleans. The Holiday Inn staff should have been the ones to fix the issue since it was something between themselves and their distributor.
I love the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Jasmine and Dujuon are the very best! Hope to see them on a future stay. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the pool. I also liked that there was a washer and dryer.
I didn't like how firm the beds are. The detergent to wash my clothes were expensive.
Parking is expensive. 30.00 per day
location is walking distance to French Quarter, quiet
housekeeping was atrocious, upon check-in, toilet had poop stains on underside of toilet seat. No coat-hangers in room. Took two days to get coat hangers. Room reaked of desperate attempt to cover over smoking (non-smoking room with ashtray in room). Thought housekeeping was taking long time to clean some crumbs on floor. On closer inspection they were TOENAIL CLIPPINGS all around sofa and table. AAAAHHH!! So gross. Stayed here for $139 a night to avoid conference hotel of $189 a night. Never again.
Very good value
Not a super fancy hotel, but a great location and overall value for the money. Never had any problems with the (free) wireless internet. Staff were friendly, responsive, and professional. When my shower hose started leaking about halfway through my stay, I alerted the front desk and the problem was fixed within two hours.
Air conditioners were noisy and sometimes woke me up at night. Although I signed up for a non-smoking room, the room smelled pretty smoky when I first checked in.
The beds pillows
The STAFF was awesome, and very friendly. The location was good.
The bathroom was small but ok
No wifi, hair in shower, parking costs extra
the convenient location
the hotel needs restoration. The bathroom was outdated and a few things were coming apart such as the light fixtures and the floor of the shower.
Free breakfast but the room was small and they started putting the food away by 9:15.
Floors in the Room where dirty bed fram was broken. Room smelt like smoke and they charged you $25 a day for parking.
location near French Quarter budget friendly
some staff were unfriendly
Location and price
The smoking room after I specifically requested non smoking and the unhelpfulness of the staff.
