Ideal location, only a block from Canal Street, in easy walking distance of French Quarter, riverfront and all downtown attractions.
Being surrounded by so much, it's no wonder that the hotel has minimal facilities. The best dining is offsite.
When looking to book this hotel we referred to the photographs on the Kayak site. The original photographs showed a French provincial style more conservative accommodation. We we arrived this was a Art Deco style hotel. The room smelled, was not clean and had insects flying in spots. We changed hotels after two days thinking we were upgrading. What a disappointment. Not hotels fault but Kayak.
From the moment we walked in the staff was amazing! Told us all about NoLa and how to be prepared for Mardi Gras. The gentleman at the front was a huge help, he helped me get a custom to parade routes and also had great suggestions on places to go outside the parade! Loved the whole trip! Thank you guys!
Staff was great..
Good location, small windowless room. Lots of fees
Location is very good.
They charge a $12 per day Resort Fee for things that should be included like the safe and a gym that we didn't use. They also charge $35 per day for parking. The rooms are small and very generic.. and many don't have a window.
Comfortable and Good Location
The location is right off of Canal Street and it's great access to the French Quarter!
Our room had no windows. Make sure you get a room with windows.
Clean and comfortable
Room was clean and comfortable. Cozy bed with very thick pillows.
Location just a block from all the action in the French Quarter was perfect.
Room was very small for the price. No pool or spa facilities.
Room was nice and clean and updated, staff was very friendly
There's no pool at this hotel like kayak claims
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
Parking was 3 blocks away
It was close to french quarter, the ac was amazing, it was close to canal st without being right on it. the hotel was nice looking and the little workout room had good equipment in it but limited.
The elevator broke and we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs, the staff was kinda rude when they over changed us for parking, the maid didn't empty our trash and we had to bring it down ourselves bc the food started smelling, the entrance to the hotel is on a road where at night there are many homeless and shady people it's kind of scary, so you end up walking around the longer way to avoid it, there is only beverage vending in the workout room, the being and curtains had stains on them.
