Pros: Clean, modern, quiet room. Enjoyed the larger than normal pool (with slide), and especially the hot tub. Breakfast was good; nothing over the top, but plenty of good food. I'd go back to this hotel.
Cons: Very minor inconvenience. Some hotels have cell phone jacks, so I was expecting one. Again, that was very minor. No other complaints at all.
Cons: The breakfast area was crowded and noisy in the morning.
Pros: The beds were super, very comfortable. Nice hot shower. Staff were very friendly, and accommodating. The best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel.
Pros: Cleanliness, good breakfast, quiet stay

Pros: I loved that my stay went so smoothly. I have no complaints. The staff not only took care of you, but said hello and good morning when I passed by. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: The room and hotel were clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and not messy like some breakfast areas are. The location was also convenient as far as the interstate location. The staff gave good ideas for places to eat as well.
Pros: Our room had a bench built in the window you could sit on. You could watch tv or just lookout side at the mountains.

Pros: Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great.
Pros: Bed was super comfy
Pros: Free breakfast was good
Cons: We arrived late after a long day of driving and we're ready to just go to sleep as soon as possible. It wasn't meant to be however as it became very obvious that our room had only been half cleaned. The bad part was the fact that the area that wasn't cleaned was the bathroom. Yuck! I won't go into detail but it was obvious that it hadn't been touched. Waited while another room was found for us so we moved our stuff and tried to get some rest however this room proved to be noisy there was a wedding party staying there that night. Was too tired to be asked to move again.
Pros: Compatible beds, hot and fresh breakfast and helpful staff
Cons: Internet was slow, kept dropping log on
Pros: Everything was very comfortable very easy check in check out had a great day thank you
Cons: Everything was very comfortable very easy check in check out had a great day thank you

Cons: Nothing that comes to mind.
Pros: Breakfast had good selection and was well presented.
Cons: More fresh fruit would have been welcom
Pros: Everything was perfect!!!!!
Cons: Nothing, everything was fine
Pros: Room was extremely clean and very nice. The location was perfect as it is in the middle of a few neat, local options for restaurants. We stopped during a blizzard coming back to WI from AR, and were very thankful for the quality of our stay.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Hot breakfast was good.
Cons: The breakfast was not attended well enough. Whenever it was a little busier, they quickly ran out of the main items.
Pros: Very nice updated and clean room with comfortable bed.
Pros: The bed was superb! Excellent non-feather pillows! Immaculate shower with a luxurious amount of water pressure.
Pros: The cozy room the restaurant and the fire pit trails
Cons: All of it the only thing I would do to make things better is clean the spider webs off the room's other then that this place is great .
Pros: Was a great opportunity to stay at the Pines and witness a piece of history and be able to stay in a cabin that was built in the 30's by the CC Corps
Pros: Everything, it's a nice relaxing place to stay to just get away
Cons: Great cozy cabins and a very nice area, with great hiking trails. Be sure to check out the white pelican for canoeing, kayaking or tubing
Cons: No fault of the White Pines but the weather was rainy and it was cold and was hoping for sun and sitting outside. Cabin was a little smaller than I thought it would be.
Pros: The breakfast buffet was very good. I also enjoyed the walleye for supper. The resort was very peaceful. The cabins were within walking distance of the restaurant and gift shop. Our cabin had a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, and toiletries.
Cons: WiFi was only good if you were close to the gift shop.
Pros: It was our first time at White Pines and we loved it. It was refreshing to be with nature, in a cabin, close access to food, trails to walk on & relax. The staffers were so kind, and helpful. GREAT escape without having to travel far!
Located in Oregon, Paddle Wheel Inn is within a 10-minute drive of Lowden State Park and Hal Palmer Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Only 2 pillows per queen size bed. Idk why our garbage never got emptied during a 5 day stay. Walls are really thin. Location is amazing and the staff was very friendly
Pros: Only thing I liked was the sauna
Cons: The beds were hard, there is no 24/7 staff so of somethings breaks forget it. We had no heat so I froze all night because staff was to lazy to call and instead rather be on her phone the whole time.
Pros: Large room
Cons: Dust covered parts of the room For the price of the room there wasn't even breakfast provided.
Pros: No breakfast. Quiet, clean
Cons: Nothing to speak of
Cons: Pillows were totally lame. Affected our sleep. Would have appreciated some breakfast. Could you at least keep the vending machine stocked?
Pros: Love the location! Rooms are tastefully decorated & large with plenty of space to move around! Both of my stats with this hotel had rooms opening on to the river..... gorgeous
Cons: Beds were a little hard, but honestly THAT was the ONLY thing & I was too tired to care much. Stayed before in a different room and the beds were great

Pros: Staff was nice, rooms look a bit worn, but clean I think its a great price for that much room. Thanks
Cons: I a hair in my gravy, told the staff, they were very apologetic I didnt get upset about it, stuff happens. They were supposed to be king size beds, they were queen. it worked out because we had another family member cancel at the last min. I was not disapointed in any way Just things to know,
Pros: Clean Room , Comfortable beds , non smoking . Will stay again .
Pros: Room, and all services.
Cons: Front desk woman ....crabby !!
Pros: Great value. was clean and well kept
Pros: Comfortable & quiet
Pros: Everything was solidly up to expectations. There was nothing fancy about the breakfast, but everything was good. The rooms didn't have a lot of frills, but they were clean and comfortable. I had absolutely no complaints.
Pros: Just passing through, room met all expectations
Pros: Didn't eat much because the room was filled with Japanese college kids and they took up all the space and food
Cons: More tables and chairs to sit when there are groups.
Pros: Clean and updated. Very comfortable.
Pros: Good value for the dollar. Rooms were clean and have all necessary amenities. Laundry available and was very reasonably priced.
Cons: Free breakfast offerings were not up to my standards. Apples were the only available fresh fruit. Only two cereals available. Please try to offer a brown & serve sausage and some type of eggs.
Pros: The morning staff personnel was very friendly, the night person, not so much.
Cons: Breakfast was ok I'm glad they had boiled eggs, otherwise it's mostly carbs

Pros: Great people, kids loved the pool and older boys really enjoyed the workout center. Front desk was great in helping us get in for a unplanned second night. Overall great experience in a older looking building.
Cons: Breakfast was a little cramped but should expect that for a Saturday morning. The resturant next door "Sunrise" was fantastic!!! Best small town family food place we've ever ate at!
Cons: Dated not that clean. Breakfast not bad but not great. Said pool was open till 11 but went to dinner, came back and pool was closed at 8 Sliding door to patio was broomstick locked and view out the door was to a rather dirty almost scary looking outside
Cons: Room ac/heat was difficult to regulate.
Pros: Room was extremely clean and wuiet
Pros: The breakfast was excellent!
Cons: No exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Pros: I was really disappointed in the condition of the hotel. My room was uncomfortable from the hallway to the bed. The carpet in hotel hallways was dirty.
Cons: This was my worse experience in over 20 years.
Pros: Extremely beautiful accommodations for the price. Spacious bathroom and comfortable bedding. The individual who staffed the breakfast bar during our staff was efficient and pleasant. Wider selection of breakfast items than at most hotels which offer this as a complimentary service. Unfortunately for us, we are less likely to stay here if, in the future, we're able to secure lodging closer to NIU. After driving five hours to get to NIU then having to travel to back and forth to Rochelle during our stay wasn't the most desirable but be that as it may we would highly recommend your establishment. Job well done!!
Pros: Clean room, hotel undergoing updating and renovating, so it wasn't completely outdated.
Cons: Even on a Saturday, the workers started construction around 7am, I think waiting until at least 9 would have been nicer. When they remodeled the bathroom, they left the area behind the toilet a little gross.
Pros: The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The pool was not as nice as we expected but it was fine.
Pros: Big room with very comfortable bed.
Cons: Kids kept messing with our door during the night and called front office to check on it. Stopped after we called.
Pros: Location was central to city of Rochelle, room was clean and quiet. Great value for costs.
Cons: Guest service was lacking, but overall was efficient.
With a stay at CHATEAU LODGE in Oregon, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Lowden State Park and Hal Palmer Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean rooms (fresh not chemical clean smell), quite, country setting, sound proof room, had a good stay and a good night sleep. Nice Owners!
Cons: Rooms were not all next to each other. Next time I’ll book earlier. Owners did say they tried to do that.
Pros: It was very convenient and much like a log cabin on the inside. It was very nice for the price and a little place to get away to.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Excellent value. We needed a place to stay for a couple of nights when our well line to the house took a dump. Easy check in and great stay. Will rely on the Chateau Lodge whenever we need a place to crash during our home renovation!
Pros: Close to where we needed to be, very convenient. Staff was nice.
Cons: Room smelled of mildew. AC didn't work properly. No soap for 2 days by hand sink. Toilet tank constantly wet from condensation adding to mildew odor and super damp atmosphere in room.
Pros: The bed is ok. It’s a quiet area, easy to find.
Cons: The name is a misnomer, no castle there, nothing French either. It’s from the 60’s, rustic style inside. The rate far exceed what one would expected for that price. Since we didn’t know at what time we would be in, they left the door unlocked and the key inside, so that was convenient.
Pros: Staff was pleasant and check in and out was simple. Location was great for our needs. Room decor was cute. Everything was in working order.
Cons: Room smelled musty and was very dusty :( beds were very hard and uncomfortable :( felt like it was a little over priced per night for the quality of the beds and how dusty the room were.
Pros: It was clean. It was quite.
Cons: Nothing to do.
Located in Dixon, Super 8 by Wyndham Dixon is within a 5-minute drive of Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home and Dixon Memorial Arch. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: saved a little bit of money using this motel
Cons: odor, memory foam mattress. should have spent more and got a nicer hotel.
Pros: It was right next to pizza hut, Walmart and a gas station.
Cons: The sheets and covers had stains on them, the towels in the bathroom had stains on them. the heat wasn't very hot and only went up to a certain number. The breakfast variety was not very good. The cable was horrible as well, all of the channels froze up.
Pros: The clean comfortable bed and the way it almost felt like an apartment rather just a place to sleep.
Cons: I'm a little on the tall side and the sink seemed a little low. But other than that it was a very nice room.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Cons: Sheets had small blood spots on them also it's a handicapped room that did not have a seat to sit on in the shower but they were accommodating and got me one
Pros: Location was convenient, Internet connection was very good,
Cons: Drain in bath tub did not work very well(probably full of hair), mattress was unconfortable, towels are getting old and thin, cable TV line up did NOT offer "The Golf Channel". The building was showing signs of a low budget approach to basic maintenance.
Pros: location was good for what we needed
Cons: There were gnats or some sort of little flying bugs all over, that we had to kill. There was a large hunk of hair in the shower. The door from the exterior to the inside of the hotel was accessable without a room key. And when the room was dead bolted we were able to push on it and it OPENED! without a key card AND the dead bolt didn't even slow the door down. When maint. was told about it, he said the outside door has been broken for a while, but he didn't know about the room one. When checking out we tried to tell the front desk but he SPOKE NO ENGLISH! So as we tried to take a picture of the 'comments welcome' sign on the counter, the maintenance man literally snatched the sign off the counter and tore it up!! right in front of us!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
Pros: The breakfast was fine. It was fairly simple, continental style, with cereal and fruit.
Cons: Folks in the next room were rather loud (or the TV was loud) until nearly 4;30am, but that did not prevent me from sleeping.
Pros: Basic rolls, coffee, cereal, etc. Located in lobby which could get congested if they had lots of guests.
Pros: Didn't eat the breakfast. Not even close to Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn.
Cons: Pillows smelled like stale smoke. Light sockets were so loose that plug in's wouldn't hold. We weren't finished hand towels on our last day. The only coffee that was in the room for the last day was decaf. Other days, it was one of decaf and one medium roast. So, I was limited to one cup - don't like decaf.
Pros: Location was close to stores and food.
Cons: Breakfast was a joke! Bedspread was stained and dirty. Gross. Will stay at comfort inn next door next time. Worth the extra $10.
Located in Dixon, Magnuson Hotel Dixon is a 4-minute drive from Sauk Valley Community College and 6 minutes from Lincoln Monument State Memorial. Featured amenities include a business center and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We really don’t mind the location. However, it is a bit away from police surveillance with the back parking lot starting to feel very risky. The beds were clean and comfy. The TV and climate control worked fine.
Cons: Sed parking lot, trash lying about, storm damage from who knows how long. Rickety railing with crumbled concrete for check in. Drapery hangers broken, therefore no real privacy.
Cons: Smell, cleanliness
Pros: It had a fridge and microwave. Juice and milk was available at all times. The staff was courteous and accomadating. Very friendly. Nice view. For the price it is an excellent hotel.
Cons: Slight mildew smell in hot areas, but is to be expected since the location. Tub was slow to drain
Pros: Even with the rooms being quite outdated and needing minor repairs the front desk attendant was helpful and pleasant to work with.
Cons: The breakfast options were very limited and there was no coffee because the owner of the property didn't manage the supply needed for the day.
Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Cons: Outside the hotel needs cleaned up.
Cons: Curtains were falling down. Shower curtain was DISGUSTING!!! Totally moldy!! Bed spread was stained. Sheets washed? Very questionable!! Someone else's clothes left in the room.
Cons: very little for breakfast. Faucet fixture on the sink was loose and the toilet was stained, There were holes in the wall paper. Very few electrical outlets. Breakfast did not have warm food. Only cold cereal and yogurt. The outside entry was not locked.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room smelled bad, the carpeting was moist, the toilet seat was for a round toilet on an oval toilet and the inside was filthy. Broken towel racks and light bulbs missing. There were stains all over the head board and dresser.
Pros: Bed good. Location good Staff good Price good
Cons: Breakfast was very minimal Facilities dated.
Pros: It was near where I needed to be.
Cons: I don't know where to start! The smell, the stains seeping from the ceiling down the wall. The curtains didn't close very privately. There was toilet paper and stagnant water down the tub drain, we couldn't even shower, and, old teabags in the coffee pot.
Cons: No continental breakfast. Bathroom not clean.
