I believe her name was angelica at the front desk she was so knowledgable and extremely kind! Made checking in easy and painless. The resort few that was not mentioned in the third party booking. Which the staff advised to book through the hotel next time.
That hotel is definitely a good choice while staying in Orlando for a few days. Not many restaurants around the hotel.
Everyone from the front desk (Deon) to housekeeping (Marie) staff was very helpful, kind, and good humored. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. And the decor and artwork really were all in good taste. My stay was too short!
- Great front office staff - Excellent concierge - very fast elevators - The coffee in the room was great - TV in mirror was great (yet it did not change channels or volume correctly) - housekeeping evening service was excellent when I called for more water and coffee - comfortable bed - fast operator responses and efficient over the phone - centrally located near OCCC. A lot of walking is needed as the area is massive - Great restaurants near-by - beautiful pools yet the weather was unfortunately too cold to swim - Took a long time to get hot water in the shower during my 4 days stay. - Bathroom cleanliness was not the best I have seen. I always noticed an odor and felt it was not fresh and fully sanitized - The TV in the mirror did not work correctly and seemed to hang up when i try to change the channel or raise the volume - I had mold in the shower grout, yet this was fully cleaned on the 3rd day I was there. - safe battery was weak and barely opened to get my stuff out. Then it did not work afterwards. - TV had an issue and did not work on my 3rd night. I called it in yet I did not get a tech within 50 minutes to fix it and i had to sleep in the afternoon before going out. When I returned late at night the TV was fixed. .
The staff was very nice and attentive. The hotel and room were very clean. The property was very nice. $20 per night self parking is a bit much if you ask me. self parking should be included already considering the already somewhat generous price range and if not included well at least a bit cheaper
The location is near everything you could imagine.
Great accommodations, room was large and clean, staff was very helpful, and several food option at the hotel. Parking was expensive and walk to car was a bit far but was expected.
Staff was very knowledgeable and veryhelpful. Room was dusty on the counter tops and desk. A bit of a surprise. there were other pieces of debri around, but not really bad, just surprising from other trips staying at Hyatts.
Location, Bars, Food, Style 20 resort fee a day a bit pricey
Clean, comfortable and fantastic diner open at 1:45 am Cosr
Location, fitness center, quiet for sleeping, concierge lounge staff always excellent Inconsistent service, changes in amenities that weren't disclosed, communication issues between different areas of the hotel, when issues raised, staff didn't do anything
It is a nice property and we really liked the pool area. When we checked in our first room smelled like old dirty fish. They moved us to another room and the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. This cause the carpet to wet and moldy and also smelled terrible. We ordered room service one night and when they knocked we said "one sec" and when we got the door he left and took the food with him and had to go hunt him down.
The amenities were nice and the hotel clean. The few interactions we had with hotel staff was pleasant. The beds were very hard. The walls thin. The $20 parking per day for a guest staying in the hotel is insane. The fast check out tells you to leave your keys in the room. However, you need these to get out of the deck, we had to check out a 4 am to make out flight so fast check out was needed. Well it was totally pointless when I had to go by the front desk anyway when I couldn't get out of the lot. I would expect much more plush beds in a hotel at this price. Then there were the walls, the rooms have a pass through door. I see the point in it. However, you can make out the conversations going on in the next room. Not to mention any noises in the hallway.
Close to convention center. Great pool for kids. In room bottled water $5.00! Stop at the 7-11 down the street and stock up.
Loved the lazy river! Great recreation options onsite (lazy river, pool, fire pits, tennis court, putt-putt, pool bar/restaurant). Good location and public transportation options. Room was right across from fire station with sirens at all hours. Low water and toilet pressure. No balcony, kitchenette, or table and chairs. Food and room a bit pricey. Mini fridge difficult to find-hidden in dresser set.
The staff was very courteous ! Amenities were nice, pool area was very fun for the kids. Poolside food was great !!! We came into Orlando very late on our way to Disney. After trying over 10 budget hotels in the area that were all fully booked we found the Hilton had a room for us. Saved our tired traveling family. Thank you Hilton Orlando.
The hospitality suite was nicely accommodating. Evidently, I had to forfeit the kingsize suite for a set of double beds to be adjacent to the hospitality suite. However. In the hotel's defense the upgrade was not made until arrival, and it was a Sat.
The room, pool and staff. The food was good however it was priced way too high. $60.00 plus for two hamburgers and fries is out of line.
Do not buy Disney ticket from hotel!
Everything was great price a little expensive also checked in at 2 AM so didn't have enough time to enjoy the whole hotel was a last-minute trip to go see my daughter and I brought my seven-year-old daughter with me my 23-year-old daughter goes to you UCF so we couldn't stay with her hilton is great again a little pricey Hilton is great again a little pricey
Tv in bedroom did not work well, and room was tough to keep cool.
Overall, a nice hotel. Just a few things went wrong. First when I turned the shower on at 7 am, the shower nozzle was turned on and facing me. Needless to say I was soaking wet before stepping into the shower and I spent the next 15 minutes mopping water up all over the bathroom. The coffee maker and iron did not work either. Everything else was fine. Location was good. Hotel clean.
Convenient for attending trade-shows at the orange county convention centre. The staff were courteous and obliging.
Friendly staff. Everything was clean, fresh, and looked new. Very convenient across the street from the convention center. A little isolated from all the activities in the area. You will need transportation to get to the Universal Studios activities up the road as well as the Disney properties in the area.
Food and drink and parking are way to expensive for what is charged
I already paid for the room, and then I had to pay extra just to use their parking lot. I felt like their were a lot of unnecessary expenses there
Only thing was your house cleaning that worked well for my schedule. I didn't like all the extra fees. For the price you are charging and the room extras the parking garge for the person on vaction or on business should be less or free. I did the valet one night and went to the desk for parking window display and told the desk I was going to park in the garge the rest of my stay. I was charged valet overnight and my mistake not checking the bill closer.
Comfort of room.
Cleanliness Friendly staff Nice size rooms Charged for Wifi Charged for parking I will no longer stay at Westin for these two reasons. I wish I would have known before I reserved.
Well worth the money spent. Was not aware of resort fees.
The rooms are nice, clean and modem The entire experience of staying at the Westin is great
Elegant simple comfortablei I had no problems
The deli, the beds! Are amazing. The elevators are a nightmare, for those of us on 16 or higher you waste hours of your life for one. One morning I got fed up and timed it 9 minutes!! All because one lift is out. Yet if you are 1-15 you have 6 lifts, we only had three. It's been like this since May 2016.
Perfect location for our event at the OCCC. Nice pool, good restaurant options, and staff was very friendly to us. Beds are on the small side, but not a deal breaker. Rooms are aging, and will probably need some attention in the relative near future. Really, no complaints.
Location, nice facilities and grounds. A bell hop came to our room to load our luggage on the cart and then stayed with it outside until I got my truck, but then my luggage was handed off to a vallet employee who loaded it in the vehicle. This made me feel like I had to tip two people when I felt the bell hop fully deserved the entire tip! I realize tipping is optional; however, both were performing a service for me and it put me in an uncomfortable position to either short someone, not pay someone, or pay more than I wanted to pay out for a tip. Also, I had asked for a late checkout and was granted one (thank you!), but this information was not communicated to the maid and it was obvious she was not happy (with me) about it.
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and beds were very cozy! It was convenient to stay there because of the skybridge to the convention center.
They charged me $15 to use their in house tiny gym, their website does not mention such charge for using the gym. Very deceptive, felt like I was taken advantage of I have stayed in hotels from.2 to 5 stars and none charge to use their in house gym.
We had a great time. We will stay at a Rosen property whenever possible.
Helpful Staff; Great location to Universal; Parking for free; Good stay Loud AC; Wall is thin so that you can clearly hear your neighbor talking
No complaints but one but I'll live The walk to and from parking garage
Over the years, I have stayed at Rosen Centre many times and enjoy all the lobby options (restaurants, tapas bar, spa, coffee bar, sundry shop, bars, etc.) plus they have a massive amount of large meeting rooms. Great staff!
Location Food, bed sides , facilitys like pool hot tub never work
Location McD, Red Lobster IHOP Denny next door No Elevator!!!!! No wifi at back of hotel. 1st room had sd small bugs 3 that i killed. But not bed bugs. Hotel was full first night could not move. Moved first floor rest of trip better. Had wifi. For 2 hours at atime then had to relogin. Walls are thin. No issue with bugs in new location. 2nd location satisfactory .
Good location to convention center and to I-drive. Breakfast offered. Front desk specialist, Pravin, worked with us to get receipts and he was really nice. The staff was not polite. Eric failed to acknowledge us when we stood in line and instead offered pizza to his maintenance guy. He also hounded us with questions about how many people were in the room repeatedly and when I asked for an extra pillow. I have stayed at this hotel before and he was rude the last time as well. The hotel was also lacking ventilation and there was a musty smell all the time everywhere.
Nothing Everything! And the people can't even count AMERICAN money!!!
Needs a makeover/face lift It needs to be modernized within hallways and foyer
It was convenient to Seaworld and a great value for money paid to stay. The front desk staff was less than helpful upon arrival and trying to check...I almost had to do his job for him.
Breakfast / Breakfast service
Big bed, front desk staff was friendly Bathroom was moldy, card to enter room never worked, room wasn't clean, hallways were dingy
Bed Was Comfy Great Location I Would Stay Again! I Didn't Like That There Was A Greasy Head Stain On The Headboard Which Shows It Wasn't Clean But That's About It.
Great staff worked with us cause this site never sent the email to the hotel so tracked it down 3hrs. Later
We picked the Clarion since it was very close to the Orange County Convention Center, where we were attending an event. It was about a 5 minute walk to the North/South building of the OCCC, which was very convenient. The price was right too. Free WiFi, free breakfast (albeit mediocre), and free parking sealed the deal. The room was clean and comfortable, but could use more storage (no closet). There were no elevators to the second floor where we stayed - making hauling luggage up and down stairs a little frustrating. The walls were paper thin - you could hear everything in the adjacent rooms and hallway. The shower head in the bathroom is pretty much at eye level, and I'm only 5'4". The free breakfast was pretty sad, but it did the job. $4/day "resort fee" :(
It was a reasonably priced motel. The room was clean and quiet, if a bit dated. I was attending the AIMexpo with the exhibit hall in the West concourse and the outdoor events behind the Hilton. Which puts the Clarion in between within easy walking distance of both. The Clarion provides a full breakfast buffet and is adequate if your standards are low. It's edible, but not very savory. The breakfast buffet becomes the bar at night, 6 nights a week (closed Sundays). The drinks are cheap but there are no food options during bar hours that I saw. The halls had a slight smell, but it did not continue in the room. Within walking distance of the motel, there are few options for meals, including Denny's, Red Lobster, IHOP and higher end restaurants at the Rosen Centre hotel. Jump on the I-ride trolley ($2 each way) oxr about a 15 minute walk for a plethora of dining choices North of the covention center complex.
Location to conventional center
I liked the location most of all not too close but far enough to Enjoy the quiet I did not care for the over all appearonce of the inside of the room a lot of rust in the bathroom area and it didn't smell really fresh more like a motel or extended stay spot
After i checked in i mentioned it was my birthday and they gave me and my 7 friends a free shuttle to Senior Frogs as well as 7 free drink tickets. That sold me. Also its very clean on the inside and you can tell its been recently renovated a LOT especially in the room. Definately was perfect for my needs as a place to stay during a night out on I-Drive with several friends. 9/10 would stay again The iHop downstairs was way too crowded and didnt even get a waitress for 25 min so we left for the dennys 1 block away. much better place to go. Also they housekeeping was pretty ruthless after 11 am, despite me requesting a late checkout of 1 pm. One lady knocked once and immediately opened my door before i could even answer her but luckily i was so hungover it didnt bother me much lol.
Great staff, nice facilities, and close to both Convention center wings. We ate at the IHOP that's attached to the hotel every day and had a great experience there as well. Will definately use again the next time we are in the area for a convention.
excellent location. clean, quiet
ROACHES !!!!!!!!!!!! BED WAS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!
It was convenient to the conference I was attending, and was fairly clean. It was a good place to stay for the price. The check in personnel were very nice and helpful. The floors were not cleaned well, and because the cleaning staff was different each day, it was cleaned to the same standard each day.
Private room, wasn't bothered by neighbors or staff Definitely was exactly what I was looking for Late check-in time Wish there had been a breakfast included Lost my ring
Comfortable beds. Good space. Microwave and fridge. The toilet kept running.
Location I had no heat in my room and the response after the tech looked at the heater was " ya, it's not working". No response from the front desk at all. It was raining all day and night at it was cold in the room. I came back to the hotel late and there were absolutely no parking spaces. The front desk clerk wanted me to park my car in front of the hotel door all night where it could get hit easily in the small circular driveway. They allow cars with trailers and moving vans to take up to 8 spaces each, that should never be allowed. Cars parked in all the fire lanes. It was just a mess.
Location and price were great. Bugs in room... crumbling wall in the bathroom.
It's a bit better than another Red Rood inn I stayed at in the area (i.e. this place at least didn't cut corners when it came to renovating the rooms). It's in a slightly nicer area then the usual Irlo Bronson highway main drag area where many places are. The king bed was very comfortable (or did I just get a lucky room with a decent bed for once? lol). Still a teeny tiny issue with basic professional maintenance (seems kind of standard procedure in the many places I have ever stayed at, but it shouldn't be). Grouting in bathroom was coming apart. A bit more explanation of the facilities available and/or an in room booklet/pamphlet explaining in details more would be nice. I personally like to see things like a fridge be a bit more standard in most rooms (I've gotten tiny little kitchenettes in my room at similar or slightly cheaper rates in other nice area hotels PLUS a basic breakfast as well without additional cost). Wifi never seemed to really work very well/at all. Would have liked to have been able to use the pool at late night hours for a little dip/swim now snd then (provided extreme discretion was used), but that's probably just me as I tend to keep late hours when I travel.
Great price for the rooms. They looked exactly like the photos on the website. Some things could've been improved but overall it's the best bang for your buck. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. A lot of reviews disparage the hotel, but the staff was friendly and the room was fine.
There on business. Nice room for the money, not luxury but clean. Great location, across the street from the Convention Center which is were the trade show was.
It was close to the convention center Staff arguing while cleaning room
Woke up and had at least 100 roaches crawling all over room. Not a good experience.
Check in was quick. Room/bathroom was clean. Close to convention center, McDonalds, Walgreens, Dunkin Dounuts, and Denny's. LOVED the location. The pool area has good seating. There is also a hot tub. The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. For us the pricing was great. We had friends staying in another hotel and they paid twice as much for the week and their room was not any better than ours. Plus, they had to pay for parking at the convention center, we just walked across the road. My only wish would be that they offer continental breakfast.
Pros: When I first walked into the room it smelled like carpet shampoo, which was nice (although made me wonder what had happened that required a carpet cleaning). Generally, it was a nice stay in a basic room. Convenient location to convention center (half a block away), very clean room, comfortable bed, big fridge, microwave, free wi-fi that worked most of the time, free parking, nice (but cold) outdoor pool. The Denny's next door had the friendliest servers I've ever had. Cons: The deal with the Clarion Inn next door for breakfast was not worth it. You can pay $3.99 to go next door for the hot breakfast, which was extremely crowded, worse than average items (I'm not a picky eater at all, but I threw out my eggs, which tasted like cardboard), and no one seemed to care if we had paid or not. The other issue is that an acquaintance staying in a different room (different building, actually) at the Red Roof Inn found bedbugs. They took photos and actually caught the bedbugs, so they didn't imagine it or make it up. I checked my room VERY carefully and saw no bedbugs. Bottom line: Nice clean room in a convenient location, good deal for the money, but check for bedbugs and skip the Clarion's breakfast (eat at Denny's or I-HOP next door).
Free wifi was the best feature of the Inn. Location was close to the covention center which made frequent trips their easy. The room smelled musty constantly and one light was out, by the front door, while the one over the sink flickered constantly. Really those were my only complaints with the Inn itself and since I only stayed in the room long enough to sleep, those issues were still bothersome each night and morning.
