Location. Breakfast was poor. Breakfast room overcrowded with organized tour bus groups; only one coffee machine to serve the entire crowd. Cold scrambled eggs. Lukewarm water for tea. We had previously stayed at one of your other hotels (the Sana Reno) which was much more pleasant.
Overall accomodation very good, centrally located and great from airport Loved It
location, hotel is very close to all public transportation the front desk staff was not very friendly
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect- close to shopping, restaurants and others. It's too bad we left early for our flight. We didn't have breakfast before we left for the airport. Too early.
The hotel was very central and good for local transport. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and did not resteict you to a short time window.
Very nice staff. Good location of the hotel. Very good breakfest.
Location: very close to explore the city and also to reach airport Not as clean as all 4 stars....A little bit cold in the rooms, as air conditioning was not functioning.
The location is brilliant.Direct airport buses just in front of hotel, metro a stones throw away and tour buses right in front.Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.Dinner buffet vegetarian options were quite limited.Overall excellent choice.Would certainly stay again. Do not use the phones to make local calls very exorbitant rates. Some of the hotel staff could be more pleasant. We booked a Fado night out and had to pay cash...they didnt accept cards.
Very central, tour bus starts from outside front door, convenient for public transport, good underground parking (8 euros per day) good value for money, good breakfast.
breakfast the staff wasn't very friendly or helpfull
The hotel was excellent. Having never been in the country before my group relied heavily on the advice of the staff for recommendations on places to go. The door man outside was the most helpful of all, he gave excellent recommendations on restaurants and nightclubs to visit. However the onsite facilities were great as well. There is a very nice lounge area on the bottom floor and because of this my group did not see a need to pay for the exclusive lounge on the top floor. There really was nothing to not like about this hotel. The price was a little on the high side but I have spent up to $500 a night in other hotels that were not nearly as nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they check on you in your room several times throughout the morning to late afternoon. If you want to keep your visits from the staff to a minimum use the do not disturb sign. There visits are out of good intentions though, like refreshing the mini bar, fresh towels every morning, free bottled water, cleaning etc.
The hotel has a really nice swimming pool. The rooms are really comfortable and the food was a very resonable price. The location of the hotel isn't great although the metro is only a minutes walk away.
clean and tidy with helpful staff the menu at the resturant
Firendly service, good food
Location was a little out of the "hub" or activity; But only a short taxi ride away. Metro also only a 3 min walk from hotel.
The staff in the reception are very helpful. Modern, new and clean, the free of charge computer on the 1st floor of the hotel is super. For the price I pay through Booking.com, it is an excellent buy. Close to metro and railway station are very convenient. cannot think of anything for the time being.
gd value for money
meets all requirements of 5stars hotel. good price.
I Enjoy stay in the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon
Consierge service, breakfast Once the room wasn't cleaned and no one seemed to be responsible
Driver to and from the airport, Diego, was one of the friendliest and helpful and knowledgeable people I met on my 2 week European vacation. The hotel was beautiful and staff from front desk to doorman to room service and spa were outstanding. I forgot my swimsuit and couldn't use the spa relaxing pool area!
Loved the location (safe area)
nothing breakfast was terrible hotel has no caracther and is cold.
Location , Cleanliness Staff is not very friendly, cleaners does not understand the signal does not disturband and unfortunately there is a building constructions a at the back of the hotel and the noise is unbearable it does last all day including Saturdays , According to the staff it does not belong to the hotel therefore they refused to relocate guest accommodation...
I liked the tranquillity of the street, the fact that it was very close to the metro Parque (just 4 stops to reach Rossio) but it was also perfect to walk down from Av. de Liberdade to Praça de Dom Pedro (about 10 minutes). Breakfast was perfect and complete with salty and sweet, hot and cold food. Room was clean and staff very friendly. There is no wi-fi connection in the room but you can ask to use the computer in the main hall (they give you username and password for 15 minutes connection for free)
Very clean and comfortable...good breakfast... Just had to wait to check in, till 2 pm
Helpful staff, Breakfast was quite good. Room was small but not so bad for 1
The Check-in staff was very helpful in getting me from a Twin-Bed to a Double Bed correcting a slight mishap promptly (I think the helpful lad's name was José Costa). Booking Business Room ended us up on 9th out of 10. I could catch a glimpse of the park which was pretty ok. The decor is simple and nice. Very comfortable matresses :) Very clean (as I have been accustomed by the Fenix chain Hotels), despite the Bathtub having a patch that was slightly worn.
The rooms were big and cosy! Extremely worth the price! Near the metro, near the city centre, hotel totally worth its 4 stars and the price is so cheap! Nothing at all!
The hotel is in walking distance from downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. I had free wifi access in the room. Breakfast was delicious and included in room price.
Good central position, very helpful staff, good breakfast and modern style room, parking Getting to carpark convoluted due to Lisbon's geography but grateful to get a carpark in such a central position
The location is great and it is excellent value for the money. The breakfast is very good and the hotel is clean.
I liked the location, comfort, services, price, the relaxed atmosphere, short walk to the city centre, close to the airport, breakfast and the staff. it was quite cold in the room and the air condition did not funcion although the staff was helpful
The location. The Family room where we stayed had pull down beds that you can feel the bed springs on your back. One thin pillow for each 4 beds, No alarm clock, Empty and Dirty reefer. Difficult access to Cabinets due to positioning of beds. Limited choices of food for the breakfast. Would not go back to this hotel again.
The bedroom is modern and equipped with the basic facilities. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel is a five minute walk from the metro. The basic double rooms aren't pratical: there are no bed-side tables, no place to hang hand-towels or to place the suitcases. The mini-bar and room-service don't have much to offer. No kettle to boil water for coffee/tea in the bedroom. There is no free internet and no wi-fi at all in the bedroom (we had to take our own cable from the recpetion). The comfort and service provided are far from what is expected from a five-star hotel.
Clean room, pleasant staff, comfortable bed
Very boring location, rooms are aging, boring and noise isolation poor
Really elegant and cheap
Positiv was the free access to the gym and the luggage room. Although new hotel the carpet in the room was very dirty already and there is no effort to clean it proper. We had asked for a wake up call at 5 am and I am glad I did not rely on the hotel as they did not wake us!! The service is lacking behind for a 5 star hotel.
Great Staff. Comfortable beds. Good showers. Rooms although comfortable were quite basic for 5 star clasification. Breakfast was dreadful, especially at â¬20 per person. Cold, congealed cooked food, no bread left with an hour and a half of service left. Burnt pastry.
Excellent hotel. Quality has exceeded expectation. Good atmosphere for rest and work. Good staff in Hotel and especially in restaurant. I like this Hotel and will stay there more.
Close to the airport. The overall condition of the hotel was poor, quite dirty and the rooms (we asked for a change) were quite "beaten up". The carpets were stained, dust everywhere and the bathrooms need a good cleaning with new caulking in around the shower. The staff we found to have "low moral" which may be a direct result from poor management. Which is quite disappointing as some were quite nice. It just seems like the owners of the hotel (who ever they may be) have given up in terms of the basics. Not a 5 star by all means; this hotel needs a big wake up!
The staffs are super friendly and well accommodating.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, like nowhere else. Thank you very much. Original design and great food (local and Japanese). Spa facilities not working yet (this is brand new hotel).
The room was very comfortable. Lobby bar service was not up to standard fo the hotel
The bar service - excellent Transport difficult to town centre
Good location, courteous and helpful front desk staff Veranda do Lisboa restaurant was overrated and some of the staff somewhat less than helpful
I think that the staff is wonderful and the accomadations are perfect.
Near most places you want to go to, but still quiet. Room small, but very comfortable and a great value.
Easy access to the City. Staff very friendly ,especially 24 hr restaurant
The hotelroom was quiet and the staff was always very polite and willing to help. The reception is rather small for a large hotel like Mundial. The staff is trying hard, but logistics still might be improved a bit.
Location right in the center, close to public transportation, nice breakfast, very friendly staff, very tasteful design of the lobby and breakfast room
Parking free . Lucky i was internet was free , usualy you pay fortune!!! All was best you can get . Breakfast egg and sosages were cold Fairly nothing
Location. Hotel convenient to Metro and excellent access to several excursions for tourist.
Very pure breakfast .
The location is excellent and the room was clean and quiet. The bed was not comfortable. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful.
Location, right in the heart of the city. We got a real feel for Lisbon.
Fantastic location with amazing views from the rooftop bar.
i have to your hotel many times and i enjoy it every time
Great breakfast. Good staff. The common areas were very pleasant and well designed. The rooms could need some updating.
Luxurious, yet value for money none
Excellent location near airport and main train station. Front desk staff needs to be more helpful in all aspects.
Parking and proximity to the airport
Very comfortable clean room with modern decor and bathroom No
The hotel is not far from the airport of Lisbon. The outside of the hotel has a modern look. The room was nice and spacious. From the 5th floor we could see the river and the Vasco da Gama bridge, quite spectacular. We arrived late at night but the porter was still available to help with the bags. The immediate area of the hotel has not a lot to offer with respect to restaurants or cafés. It is more like a business district with tall office buildings. But the hotel bar on the 1st floor, with very friendly waiter, was still open.
Price and Location
Hotel was really nice, room was clean and spacious, breakfast was also OK, as well as personal. The only inconveniece is that some rooms are oriented to the railway so for a light-sleeper it could be a bit noisy.
No sea view rooms, near the train. Little bit noisy.
The rail ways Just under our Windows. No access to wifi.
Upgraded for free to an amazing suite. You are right on a park near the university but could throw a ball over to the airport. Very comfortable! Free wifi. Paid parking though.
Convenience to airport. Bathroom was not perfectly clean. Restaurant food was average. Checkout clerk did not give me a receipt.
Excellent if you want to see Sporting game
Very convenient to airport. Nice, large rooms(esp by European standards). High cost of food and drinks in bar.
Customer service was good Room was very small & breakfast was over priced
A friend and I stayed here for a night while on a long layover in Lisbon. The hotel had clean, comfortable, and gorgeous rooms with nice amenities and responsive staff. It's was close to both the airport and the Metro, so it was very easy to get around.
VERY convenient to the airport for a 5:30 a.m. flight. Walked out, got in taxi at 3:30 a.m. and off we went. Nice.
the room was comfortably spacious, with a round table and chairs for eating or relaxing and a desk area for working. Everything was clean, modern and luxurious feeling. The staff was friendly and the person who arranged shuttle rides and opened the front door was able to provide me with needed information on local food and amenities. They had a shuttle service providing complementary rides to the airport every half hour for the first half of the day, and the gentleman diligently inquired if I would need a ride the following morning and included my name on the reservation list for the desired time. He also provided me with accurate information about how early I needed to arrive to have sufficient time to get through security for my flight. The location, although close to the airport, made me feel like it was located in the center of a traffic circle, both from the vehicular activity surrounding the area and the proximity to the highway. Since it was airport close, there was jet noise from take offs or landings, but not too overpowering due to good noise reducing windows.
Online check in, plus it asked it there were any special requests. I asked for 1 bed (2 adults) and a feather/down pillow. One of the 2 special requests with the online check in was ignored--the request for the feather/down pillow. It would have been nice either for the pillow to be in the room, or an explanation of why not. Neither was provided, however.
The hotel was first class in terms of comfort and facilities. Bathrooms was downright luxurious. Bed was big and firm. There actually is a metro stop about 150 yards away, so access to tourist areas was easier than expected. Location, as I said, is not great for tourists.
Christmas Day evening no shuttle available at 22:30, taxi cost €10. But shuttle next morning was great.
location, shuttle, breakfast, room, service nothing, all was great
friendly intuitive staff, beautifully deigned rooms, good food, good location lack of equipments in the gym
Breakfast buffet Location
The attitude of the staff and the central location It seemed odd that you couldn't go from the top of the hotel to the bottom without changing lifts as they are all public floors.
the decor was very well done.... the energy savings exhibited in the corridors is brilliant - lights dim and activate when you open your door. As with many Wuropean hotels, the lighting level in the public spaces is a bit harsh. It would be nice to see the art highlighted with light and other lighting dimmable. Piano Player was lovely and the perfect end to a trip. Smokers... the beds were rock hard and I would definately recommend the hotel but would caution US travelers the firmness of the bed as we are use to US hotels that offer luxury bed experiences.
breakfast safe box no good, not much TV channels
Very impressed. Breakfast wonderful with so much choice. Bar rather overpriced
Clean place to rest Wrong directions to find the parking
Excellent breakfast. When I requested a view of the castle, the hotel provided us with a room with a wonderful view.
Excellent rooms, excellent breakfast, good location in nice area, fair rate
.The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Due to the contemporary décor.
* the staff , the location, the service and its comfortable. nothing
Service, room quality, location. Room and work area lighting very poor
The food is good. The free internet is a sham, the coverage is too week. disconnects every 3 minutes at best.
Hotel was no more than 15 walking minutes from where all the restaurants and bars were located. There were even great options a block away.
The staff was amazing! They were very friendly, spoke English very well, and would do anything to help you. The only thing I didn't like was the opaque glass door opening to the bed; not as much privacy, and the light would shine right on the bed.
Friendly staff, convenience and proximity to town centre, free internet. Smelling towels on two days.
very helpful staff, very convienient location
Great value for money,as it is newly opened we got a great rate, good location, very modern and clean. The best pillows I have ever slept on
excellent and formidable, friendly staff, spotless clean rooms, excellent location and facilities none
spacious room, very comfortable bed, very quiet --> modern room, excellent for a city break shower didn't meet 5* standards --> low water pressure
-good internet connection -excellent bed and pillows -location is nice -the breakfast workers are very helpful and friendly -fast checkin/checkout -this is not a 5 stars but a 4 stars hotel with good quality -the breakfast is fine but not much options -my room had only a small window (8th floor)
Exceptionally helpful staff. When a family room is listed as two "adjoining" rooms, they should actually be connected. We have young children and cannot put them in a room by themselves. Fortunately the staff were wonderful and got us in a different room where the children could actually reach us if needed.
Clean and location Staff is ok, but the so called lady executive mgr was not friendly and not try to solve problems. She did not try to make a six dollar error on a 3 nite stay. She said that mistake had to make by their executive DIRECTOR . That six dollar had to charge when we check out( they did not tell us when we checked in. And our was a PREPAID stay). The washing sink basin was made of kind of soft pastic( in a 4, 5 star hotel ??).
My husband and I stayed here on the last day of our honeymoon and it was lovely. The room we stayed in was on the smaller side but by no means cramped and very clean, done in a beautiful light blue, light green, and white palette. The lobby is spacious with lovely green tile. The staff was very friendly and helped suggest an affordable local restaurant nearby, which was delicious. We didn't have a chance to go in the pool, but the staff let us in to look at it after it had closed, which was very nice. It looked very lovely as well. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and found a great deal and were treated very well by the staff. The view on our room (one of the cheapest ones) did not have a good view, but I guess that is to be expected (it looked out over some flat rooftops with astroturf). One small thing, when we went out during the day my husband was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans and one the doormen sort of implied that he was looking for the wrong building, but it wasn't overtly rude, he just tried to stop him and ask if he could help direct him before he went in the door.
The hotel was lovely and the concierge,Rachel, was wonderful She helped us put together a private tour with a driver, Abel. He showed us Sintra as well as many important sites in Lisbon. She also helped us with all of our questions and seemed really interesed in us. The hotel itself is quite lovely and the view from the 9th floor is amazing Our price, thanks you, was wonderful. Although I checked in on line a day before arrival, our room was not ready. When they gave us a key, someone was in the room. Finally when we finally got in the room, it was not the twin beds I had requested. The last full day we were there, we came back to find a key in the electric switch. This hotel is very careless about keys. Prices for breakfast in the hotel were ridiculous.
The hotel location is fantastic. You can walk almost anywhere in the city and there is easy access to public transportation. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. This hotel is a five star rated hotel but the service falls short of 5 star. Check in and check out took a very long time and the staff seemed to be a little stressed. Perhaps they were short handed.
When we (group of six people) book with paid in full and check in to hotel, we DID NOT know that we have to pay the taxes 2 euros per day and the person help to check in did not mention that either. After we signed our name on the card which we DID NOT see the taxes 2 euros per day on the card, but when we check out someone put that taxes 2 euros per day on the card afterward. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. IT IS THE MATTER OF PRINCIPLE. They can put any amount on the card after we signed. We REFUSED to pay the taxes. I hope that the hotel do not charge us.
This was a comfortable and friendly hotel. Ideal for exploring Lisbon, although we had a good room rate all extras were quite expensive for a family budget. Pool lovely but not very big. More for adults than kids.
Nice personnel, good location and great bed Noisy room due to some motor or airconditining compresor above our room. Never choose room 725.
Atmosphere of the hotel being repeatedly asked for my room number at breakfast for no apparent reason
Perfect location, excellent cusine. Excellent service
Central location , close to public transport/restaurants etc. were able to accommodate a family of four , well presented hotel and staff , good room service , There are only two things that were not good , the bed was hard and the pillows flat , and the front desk needs to have a little more info on day trips outside lisbon - out to the coast - surfing - sailing .
Location of the Hotel and comfort. No
Very well situated, and loved the decoration No everything was modern and excellet
Very modern and nice. Great breakfast, wide choice. Very easy to find and not that far from the city centre wiht the underground.
The staff and service was great. The location is excellent if you want to stay in an uber modern and spotlessly clean area of the city. I went for a walk once at midnight and felt completely safe. This hotel is within a block of the oceanarium, 2 blocks to the arena and metro train station, and a huge shopping mall complete with a supermarket. Everything in this area is modern and scrubbed clean. It is also a business area, surrounded by corporate buildings, as well as restaurants and other stores. The entry area felt a little bit ostentatious and sterile. It was open about 2 or 3 stories high, white and clean. I felt a bit conspicuous every time I came and went. It seemed that there were a lot of business meetings and events happening there based on the traffic of business people in and out of the hotel. The room was a bit cramped, though nicely furnished, modern and clean. The elevators and breakfast buffet seemed taxed by the morning rush, and both mornings I stayed there they didn't have more than scraps in the scrambled egg trays.
Good breakfast. Good price thanks to Booking.com website. Hotel is just near the Underground (Magenta line) so no problem to reach the town center in 15 minutes.
Modern hotel at the heart of the former Expo area. Public areas and rooms were well maintained and rates were excellent for the service received. The staff at breakfast were a little over zealous at removing your plates etc before you had finished. Only minor point tho
Fantastic. Arrived there and was told we were upgraded to a suite as the Hotel was fully Booked. Our Card had already been debited so we were delighted. Loved everything. Room. Loction Cleanliness. Breakfast. Hotel Staff were most helpful and smiling faces.
Great hotel--nice staff, lovely rooms.
Very comfortable rooms, with a lot of space to put your things. Car parking at a reasonable rate. The hotel could improve the quality and offer of the restaurant.
Good staff, excellent position, quality accomodation
I ended up at the Altis after a very long day of travel and a disastrous Airbnb experience left me and my friends without a place to stay. Desperate, we found the Altis on Kayak with a 5-star rating and were willing to put a little extra money in given how nice the place looked in the app. Unfortunately, this ended up being a terrible experience. The staff was extremely slow and unhelpful, making us wait a very long time to get to our rooms after a very long day. Moreover, the rooms bore absolutely no resemblance to the photos we saw on the app - they were outdated, dingy, and dirty. There were hairs in our showers, and the floors were stained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work, coming in and out every few minutes. In fact, we ended our stay early given how bad the conditions were - though it took ages to do so at reception. There is no way this hotel is 5 stars and it should not be advertised as such. Personally, I would like for the hotel to compensate me in some way for such a misleading and poor experience.
good location and nice service
The best was location of the hotel. I liked buzness center of the hotel as well I think it is not 5 star
Information and booking assistance service, swimming pool, facilities in general Room service, No view from the room which was dark
It is a fifne Hotel, we liked almost everything, but especially the kindness of the employees We have been ignored at the D. Fernando restaurant. I wonder if it has been due to a football game with Benfica. We dicided not to go there anymore
the hotel equipement is quite old.
Very nice hotel in an excellent location
place of hotel was very good may be triple room could be better
The personnel was friendly. I could have a late check-out. The location of the hotel is good, not far from subway, and actually not far from the center.
The Hotel was in a very convenient position for our 3 day sight seeing tour of Lisbon and the indoor swimming pool was of good size and warm The main dining room was closed and you only had the choice of the expensive roof top one or the coffee bar, although this was better than expected
its not worth 5 stars
