Pros:

Pick-up & drop-off were perfect! The site manager easily adjusted my pick-up time to match emerging changes in my travel plans.....and when one of our group developed a medical emergency which cancelled our trip outright, management re-did our One Way drop-off Weekly rate to become a 2 Day Local contract with no issues. The car was perfect and our travel would have been perfect as a result!

Pros:

From check-in, pick-up, and a personal drop off at our departure gate, the customer service was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this company.

Cons:

The rental car was a Jeep SUV and it was a horribly uncomfortable gas guzzler. I would definitely not recommend this car.

Pros:

I don't have any problems with other enterprise but just this enterprise

Cons:

this enterprise just treat customer so cruel because they cancelled the customer reservation without any contact until we came to their office the 2 days before pick up day and they said our reservation been cancelled, with the reason that they called us (only 1 time without leaving any messages ) but we don't pick up phone. How about my email? Why don't they send us an email to confirmed? If this is the way enterprise serve customer then .... nothing to discuss. Thank you.

Staff at Hertz Palo Alto were quite unhelpful. Among other things, they failed to provide minimum docs needed for drop-off.

Pros:

The car was nice and clean.

Cons:

The car had some scratches and the left side looked like it had a crash before. The left side close to the light would always come out and I would need to put it together at every stop. No one told me about that when I got the car. The pickup itself took almost 2 hours and the guy was not really helpful and happy. He barely look at me android not asked the simple things like pre paid fuel and liability.

The price was excellent, and I received a free upgrade to a Jeep Compass. I was able to pick up at one airport, and drop off another. Best rental car experience I've had- I wish they were all like this!

If the rental booking could automatically, and CLEARLY notify customers that they absolutely have to use a credit card for their booking, it would save alot of headaches for customers and your alls reps. When I booked mine with a debit card, the confirmation made it seem like everything was fine, and even said to bring the credit/debit card I booked with. It knows I'm doing a way trip. So in this day and age, an automatic warning would be awesome, instead of being told "its the policy" and I should have read it 3 paragraphs down

I never got a car. They said that if the reservation was made less than 24 hours before there were no cars available. Get it together.... don't set up your system to allow reservations if there are no cars available. It reminds me of airlines overbooking flights.

The car was dirty on the inside. Photos were taken. The doors on the inside were visually dirty. One window was so dirty it looked foggy. Also, a second reservation was needed at a different location b/c upon arrival, they had no cars.

Staff was fantastic at pick up and drop off. However, we prepaid through Kayak and our vehicle was not available. Our only choices were to go without a vehicle or pay double to upgrade. The last minute rental was a bit pricey to begin with, and the final cost was exorbitant.

I had booked a minivan but they said I had booked a midsize SUV. I showed them the Kayak note and they said I had to call Kayak. In the 2nd they didn't have a Suv and had to give us a minivan. I felt abused

Once we learned the facility was about 1/3 mile from the Iceland airport and could not find a Sixt booth or their shuttle at the Iceland airport, we decided to walk to the facility in the rain & wind. Otherwise, the check in & check out process was ok and the vehicle served us well in our travels around Iceland.

The vehicle was not a proper automatic and it had about 30 scratches on the outside. They were very difficult and refused to give a refund

They didn’t have the car I had ordered and the ‘equivalents’ were not at the same level. They are all salespeople. You get off the plane exhausted and despite already having paid for a car they work irritatingly hard to get you to upgrade both the car and the insurance. A tiring, frustrating experience.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

The check-in process took forever. It was a large line and at the beginning the attendance. Chatting among each other, Delaying the process. Finally, a young man came in. And checked in as many people as the previous to attendance did together. I’ve been to this car rental before, and it brought a memory of the last time we experience the same thing. Very frustrating.

I prepaid for my car only to get to the counter and wait for just under an hour. Once assigned a car, I again waited because I was then told my car was double booked. I finally got a car, and it was a great car. However, after turning it in on time I was charged for 3 additional days because they had me down as driving a completely different car. Definitely will Pay More next time and rent from someone else.

Getting from baggage claim to Payless terminal had to stand in long lines to get on the bus. The customer service agent was very nice and friendly. We ended up getting an electric car, but never told us about what charging stations we could use being not familiar with that type of electric car and where the charging stations were a big problem wasted a lot of time during our driving experience, trying to find chargers that would work.

Payless always comes through, the pickup and dropoff process is fast and easy never any issue.. The payless cars are very updated and reliable, the price is always affordable and the deposit is always given back as soon as you drop it off, no extra charges or fees.. I highly recommend them, been using them for the past 3 yrs everytime i travel and not 1 issue..
