Cons: "Well, it's always difficult when one has to change terminals and the plane is delayed. It's even harder for those of us with mobility issues. I use a knee scooter and I was in a lot of pain by the time we finally boarded. The crew seemed just a bit confused as to what was going to happen to my scooter, although it worked out just fine. I couldn't get the in-flight wifi to work either of my two devices, nor could my seat mate. :( We were served food very late in the fight -- I had about 15 minutes to eat before the seat tray had to be put up. But worst, my flight home has been cancelled and rescheduled for a much later flight. As mobility device user, I'm limited on who can pick me up and when. This means an over two hour wait for my pick up person, which is very hard on a one-legged person. I asked Alaska if they would be willing to waive the fee for a different flight when I can get a prompt pick up person with room for my mobility device. They said they would not. I'm a little surprised, as Alaska claims to be ADA and military friendly. I'm not sure I'll fly Alaska again."

I went to a kayak help desk to have a ticket printed that showed my TSA precheck because it wasn’t showing on my mobile ticket, and no one was there to help. I waisted for 10 mins. It then took me nearly 2 hours to get through security. I asked if I could get through quicker and was told I could not, despite it being passed my boarding time. I then ran to my gate where I waited for another 10 mins (no one was there, again) and then an employee came out and said they couldn’t let anyone board once the door was shut. He then directed me to the delta help desk (there was at least 20 people behind me who missed their flight). I then had to pay an additional $75 to get a later flight. The whole experience was awful and I’m disappointed with Kayak and the gate confusion, but mostly Delta and the lack of customer service."

The flight was delayed for a total of 4 hours. When I arrived into LAX, I had requested if I could go on an earlier flight if there was space (rather than catching the later one - an hour later). They asked me to pay $200 to change it. Fair enough if you want to charge me for a change of ticket - but then the plane that I was supposed to go on got delayed for 3 hours and you don't offer any sort of compensation - thats really not something I expect from American Airlines"

American Airlines staff told me that I can pay $75 dollars extra to secure a seat for the next flight 6 hours away. I told them I am not paying anymore because it wasn't my fault I missed this flight. Then, they lost my suitcase so they took 30 minutes to find it. I tried boarding with the priority pass members because my new ticket they gave me was for priority and one of the American Airlines staff members kept getting in my face until I was at the back of the line because I was in boarding group 4. I just never have been treated so poorly before my any airline. I travel often so I will never take American Airlines again. The final straw was another delay at my last layover in PHL, which made me and up traveling for a total of 21 hours."

Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

I approached the desk to verify with an employee pre-boarding to ensure I will receive this voucher. She was annoyed with me from the start repeatedly saying it will be emailed after takeoff, which was NOT my question. My question was to verify that the email on file was correct. She had a very hard time getting this to her head. However, it has been over a week and I have yet to receive this voucher. Unless, I receive this voucher I will never recommend this airline."

This shouldn't have been placed as the cheapest tickets available with out big red warnings that it is only cheap if you have no bags. $40 more would have given me free check in bags and a far better in flight experience on another airline. Spread the word to never fly Frontier."

In addition, the flight from Chicago to San Francisco was HOT and no drinks are offered without payment - everything on Frontier is extra $$$ - a bit of a turn off. I'm an avid Southwest customer and I think I will be going back to them even if the flight 'seems' cheaper when searching Kayak. I appeciate you asking about my experience. I love Kayak, but won't be flying Frontier again. I'd rather spend up to $200 more for Southwest to get: comfy seats, free bags, cabin temperature comfort, on time flights, drinks and snacks. It's worth it."

I will even go further to say that if I see Frontier on Kayak, I will not even use Kayak again."

The folks at SFO said that boarding passes printed from Frontier's website are difficult for the scanners at the airport to read -- so I did not get to take advantage of TSA Precheck, which was annoying."
