Pros. only a couple of members of staff were pleasent and as helpful as possible. The ones that were, did not seem to know anything and those that did didnt seem interested in listening when you asked for a question. The decor would be described as an aquired taste, but was ok. Location was verry good. Literally next to the local street market. But if you don't like the smell of fresh fish day and night then avoid.
Cons. They will arrange taxi rides with you that ripp you off at the airport. Flagg one down in the street yourself or it costs twice as much up front if they book it for you. You pay the fair to them and the same again to the taxi driver. DO NOT LET THEM DO ANY BOOKING FOR YOU!! There just con men. Room was right next to reception and the separating door to the corridor was open constantly. This was noisy for us and annoying early in the morning and at night when trying to sleep. Also the draft from the front door constantly made our door rattle day and night. The TV had no remote and when i got one it didn't work properly and neither did the television. They said they couldn't do anything about it. The pillows were tiny and flat. Getting another was a nightmare. No duvet, just a couple of sheets and a blanket (in winter). The mattress was sloped to 1 side. The window view was awful. On our first night the wardrobe clothes rail broke and they did nothing about throughout our entire stay even after complaining several times. So had to hang our clothes over the bed. Overall, great trip but this hotel and the cons they get you to pay for because they say its cheaper is an absolute lie!!! and the don't want know if you have a problem. I can't emphasis this enough. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!
