Cons:Was not able to make a change to my reservation. Very poor.
Pros:Ease of booking and price
Cons:Syracuse airport is torn up and extremely hard to navigate - not Kayak's fault but a really bad experience for travelers there.
Pros:People were very nice
Cons:Computers down so pick up was very slow. At drop off, the signs weren't clear as to where I was supposed to park. The Hertz people had to explain where to park and that I had to take the keys to the counter. This is at 11am on a Wednesday.
Cons:There was no one at the rental counter when i went to pick the car up. Luckily the people from Avis were willing to help me.
Pros:Excellent price / cleanliness of car was good
Cons:I did not like that we were told the tank would be full. However when we drove the car not even a smile it had dropped quite a bit on the gas gauge. We were told that when we bring the car back to have the gas tank filled or as close as possible. The people who previously used it didn't fill the tank all the way

Pros:Pick up and delivery was easy
Cons:INitially the clerk tried to charge an extra 20$ and then when questioned, he made the adjustment to the original quote. INitially I thought the car smelled like stale smoke, but out the window down and it wasn't bad. The next day, when I drove further it smelled so bad it was nauseating, but I didn't have time to return the car. When night came, I realized the inside of the windshield was filthy and smeared causing considerable headlight glare. There was also a map from the previous renter and a bag of trash in the trunk. When I reported this politely to the clerk, she put a note in my reservation. I don't think she really cared. I will not use this company again.
Pros:The women at the pick up counter in Syracuse was great.
Cons:The instructions in the email had you first call a number that no one answers. I called the national number as opposed to the local one and the customer service representative did not think the Syracuse airport existed nor did he know about the instructions in the email to call the local number Car trunk had trash in it from a previous renter and the car smelled of smoke. Perhaps you have to pay extra for a non-smoking car but I was not aware. No one was at the counter for the return nor answered the phone.
Pros:The staff was professional.
Cons:If i got my refund because I never got to rent the car. That would be nice. They should somehow utilize there software to know if there are any cars for rent. Please help me get my refund. I got my refund from the insurance company for extra insurance but not for the car
