Pros: The place was very charming, decorated with a lot of taste. The lady was very friendly. She cooked us breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice, home baked croissant and bread, she bought especially gluten free products to suit my gluten free diet. It is also very close to the castle of pierrefonds which we visited
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about the room and hotel over all - the Jules Verne theme of the room was fun, comfortable beds, great breeze from all the windows we kept open, ample bathroom, delicious breakfast in the charming breakfast room, great common area to relax, a scenic courtyard. The hotel is really close to Chateau de Pierrefonds and several restaurants and pastry shops, short walks to all, as well as to the Forest of Compiègne. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Pros: From the minute Marie Line opened the door. We loved everything . The hospitality was second to none. The room was superb, so contemporary, beautifully decorated and all the facilities were top quality. We had a packet of home made bsicuits and tea and coffee making faclities. Access to a guest lounge and kitchen. Room overloooked castle walls. The parking was perfect. Breakfast home made and just lovely. The owner is a super host deserves 10 plus. Thank you so much .
Cons: Let me think. No nothing apart from it would have been nice to have stayed longer

Pros: We couldn’t fault anything about our stay here. The place was beautiful; situated in a fantastic location, and the owner was lovely and made such an effort to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Breakfast included homemade cakes, croissants, bread and a selection of meat, cheese and fruit - delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed get away in a central, but quiet location.

Pros: We arrived late from a very long flight. Our hosts welcomed us and had some food ready for us. They were helpful, friendly and kind. We have booked in again for a stay before flying back to Australia. The house is in the country, near a charming village, but only 45 minutes from CDG airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet location. Copious breakfast to French standards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The home-made jams and garden honey were amazing. The owners are so passionate about their environment and guest experience it is impossible not to want to make an immediate return booking.
Cons: Nothing, but clearer signage from town and at the gate would have been helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is absolutely unique, exactly what I was searching to celebrate my birthday! The surroundings is full of interesting places, the breakfast is fully homemade, just lovely!
Cons: The toilet is not completely isolated so it can be not totally comfortable

Pros: Great location, total silence, very clean, very friendly, unusual concept hotel but like being ar home.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly they could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend if you are ever in this very beautiful part of France
Cons: The only thing we were not terribly keen on was the toilet in the bedroom and only a curtain between the toilet and everyone in the room, otherwise it was beautiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Madame Joanna, was very welcoming, informal and quite charming. The garden was lovely and was obviously loved and breakfast was first class. All together an unexpected and pleasant experience.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. Stunning chateau nearby in pretty town with good facilities and restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near perfection ! Beautiful property with history (stables visited by Emperess Eugenie...), transformed with good taste into welcoming and comfortable guest rooms and apartments (Gites). We enjoyed : the cleanliness/neatness, the style, the quietness, the countryside (a large garden and surrounding forest, though it is not isolated), the location (very convenient with a car for Armistice memorial, Compiegne and palace, PierreFonds and castle, forest and lakes etc.), the large parking space, and the warm welcome by the owner keen to make guests feel at home, to help with discovery of the area. (i almost forgot : breakfast ++ ! ) [we were in a guest room, not an apartment]
Cons: Only one regret : check-in 5-7PM /check-out 11AM. Leaves little time to enjoy the property for an overnight stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms we very nice, extremely clean. The hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms and garden. Enough space to walk with the dog in the wood. Nice village and very quiet. Good fresh breakfast

Pros: The property is lovely, quiet, surrounded by forests; rooms are beautifully decorated. The hosts gave us excellent recommendations for lunch and visiting nearby sights.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, atmosphere, decoration, staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful place to stay. The host was very nice and hospitable. We would recommend this B&B
7.5 Good
Pros: check in / check out very easy ; host very friendly despite my poor french , very talkative and put us on a good foot for what to do around, which is not to be underestimated; Pierrefonds is a very nice town and there is a very nice castle, 10minutes drive from the hotel; zone is very quiet and pleasant to wake up in the morning and go to sleep in the evening;
Cons: Rooms were poorly illuminated, using a low intensity light LED . Bathroom door was about to fall down ( or at least that was the impression ) , sofa very small for a family . There was not much to do in the hotel , a very unstable swing was al there is. Breakfast was very nicely presented, but the content very poor : just bread , butter , jam and fruityogurt, chocomilk : not the braekfast I would expect for the price of the room, but at least the bread was warm.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast room
Cons: The check in is very limited so you have to get there at a specific time

5
8.7 Excellent (575 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Beaudon in Pierrefonds, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Pierrefonds and Compiegne Forest.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owner run and managed and it really shows, efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We are a family of 5 plus our dog. We had a double room and next door a room with two double beds (each in a separate area so there was both character and privacy). Lots of space and windows and stunning views. The bed and pillows were very comfy and it was not too hot at night.
Cons: Nothing, it was ideal.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and most rooms have a view over the lake. Our room didn't which was a bit of a shame although the outlook over the town is still rather nice. The hotel is in the centre of Pierrefonds and the castle is easy to reach and the lovely village square. The restaurant serves nice food
Cons: Rather oddly for a booking of a double room we have two double beds in different rooms. Not a negative point, just rather surprising. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and the decor could do with modernising throughout
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is on walking distance from the castle of Pierrefonds. Good breakfast. Adequate hotel for a one night stay, but not for a longer stay.
Cons: No airco and and no possibility to get a fan when it was 43 degree C outside, which made it hard to sleep. Understood that a fan would not be allowed from the fire brigade, but in the previous 2 hotels, a fan was provided without problem... We had a room on the the third floor, but no elevator...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Position of the hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is splendid.
Cons: It was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, the flowers growing right outside the windows were an especially lovely little touch
Cons: The fact that I can never stay longer but that is by no means any fault of theirs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, beautiful town, lovely views. Very helpful, friendly staff
Cons: French hidden speed cameras
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming little inn in a lovely spot, good food on an outdoor terrace. Large bathroom and windows on 2 sides for good airflow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was small, but clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. I loved the views of the château from the hotel!
Cons: There was too much single-use plastic in the room (for example, flimsy plastic cups in film packaging). There was also an issue with the Wi-Fi one afternoon/evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the welcoming of the hosts, the excellent breakfast, the location

Pros: We thought the breakfast was expensive and repetitive. The staff were excellent.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit tired.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely village. Great location. Fine main building.
Cons: Needs money spent. Poor and dangerously sloppy stairs. Overpriced low grade basic small room. Restaurant food much overrated. Over cooked fish. Odd tasteless accompaniments. Pretentious plate decorations. Served cold. Cheese concept had melted into a soupy mush.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really nice
Cons: Noting
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Auberge in a great location - just a couple of hours from Calais. Very comfortable rooms, delightful gardens. Excellent evening set menu - not cheap at €56pp but worth it for a special occasion.
Cons: €14pp for breakfast was a little steep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the village. the room was large. the bed was comfortable. cleanliness everywhere. quiet at night.
Cons: a bulb was missing in the bedroom. the toilet paper felt like sandpaper. the food was the greatest disappointment: we had such a good memory of fabulous food, and this year, it was just so-so. The plate presentation was not attractive, a mishmash of vegetables, the meats were tough. Dessert was blah. What happened to the chef? staff was respectful and efficient, but not all were smiling, that's ok with me. But I like friendliness.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good food and staff and lovely position in such a pretty quiet village in the middle of the forest with a charming old abbey about 200 yards away
Cons: the actual view from our window could have been better but with comfortable beds and such a quiet surroundings so no sounds at night it more than made up for it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The cuisine was, as always, excellent and typically traditional
Cons: This was our fourth visit to the hotel and the room allocated to us was the most disappointing yet - it was very noisy indeed from early in the morning - we were sited over the kitchen delivery entrance
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is a little gem. Not the cheapest but the food was excellent. Lovely little village with nice woodland walks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous gastronomic dining experience in exquisite village. This is a wonderful location in the autumn when there was frost on the ground and the trees all around this village were turning colour. The restaurant is not only beautiful with wonderful open fires but the food is amazing. The rooms are warm and cosy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, great service, pretty rooms
Cons: Larger bath.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable quaint and cosy - the kids loved it. very nice relaxing vibe.
Cons: Silly us, but we did not realise there was not an oven - just a microwave and gas hob - we would have preferred an oven and maybe a toaster - so perhaps better breakfast facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Kitchen, shower terasse view heater facilities are nice.
Cons: Breakfast was not good enough especially biscuits and pain au chocolate. And spiders but it s nature it s ok:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How beautiful it and all the surrounding huts were and the beautiful decorations and little details. The location in the forest was perfect for our kids to explore safely. The people running it were absolutely amazing - incredibly friendly and helpful
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like but it’s worth noting it can be difficult/costly to access without a car
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice specially furnished bungalow as if we were in a fairytale. Nice terrace.
Cons: We booked for 6 people but only received 2 towels . The owner informed us that this was mentioned in the booking which was correct but still we expect to receive towels for all guests. Eventually the owner was very helpful and gave us exceptionally 2 extra towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were late in arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful !
Cons: It was all perfect!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very unique and the kids found it very magical, especially once they saw the princess castle (chateau) in the village! The site offered many different types of accommodation as well as standard pitches for caravans/tents etc. The staff were very friendly. Their English was very limited but we got by.
Cons: There was a pretty bad damp smell inside the house and the beds felt damp. The mrs was worried about her hair smelling musty the day after.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, cute little place. Really quiet spot and perfect for visiting the castle.
Cons: The bed was really hard! And we didn’t get breakfast on the last day

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was lovely very well set out. The food was great. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
Cons: A small and pleasant hotel. Rooms are dated, could do with a bit TLC. The bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant was very clean and tidy the food was excellent. Very friendly staff. Towels and bedding could have been changed more frequent.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great, right in the middle of town next to the pond. Great location.
Cons: We were literally the only guests in the hotel. The frustrating part was that we arrived early and their check in is not until 6 PM. Which if they were busy I would say makes sense, but they made us wait. The breakfast for the cost was absolutely not something I would do again, strongly suggest not doing it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location was just right and ticked all the boxes
Cons: it was OK
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent; we had a view of the chateau from our room. Dinner was superb & nicely presented. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices.
Cons: Bed could be more comfortable. We are used to a firm mattress on a box spring. This bed reminded us of beds we slept on as children.

Pros: Perfect location. Friendly staff
Cons: Only 1 pillow each.8
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was spectacular and the food from the chef appreciated after the terrible food in Paris.
Cons: Everything was wonderful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower head would benefit from a wall holder.
Cons: No wall holder for the shower head.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The castle. The castle! Nice atmosphere of the hotel. Incredible view of the castle from the bedroom window.
Cons: A 6pm check in seems unusual (We were able to request an earlier access for 4pm) but not so convenient for most people, I am sure.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, bedroom and breakfast were all good and the sight of the martins flying outside the bedroom window was a great joy! The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely overlooking the courtyard. Private parking was also good and secure although if you wish and there is space you can park on the road for free. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was also plenty of choice for breakfast. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant, however whilst it is located at the rear of the hotel it is run separately. Therefore you will need to book either via reception or personally and it will be subject to availability.
Cons: The WiFi was really bad during our stay and when you did manage to get on to the internet it was not for long and was very slow.

Pros: Very rural, very quiet, small hamlet
Cons: Basic breakfast no croisant, but very friendly family dining area
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent communication (in French) from owner. Quite location.
7.5 Good
Pros: A nice B & B in a very small french village. Lovely room and very quiet. The owner was very pleasant.
Cons: As there were no restaurants nearer than 5 kms we took the dinner option. The food was well prepared and very tasty however the cost at 25 euros each was far too high. Breakfast wasn't as good as we expected with limited choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful premises, great bed, room, food, and fantastic host.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The property is a slightly updated period house set in a peaceful rural village.
Cons: These things were not a problem for us but there is no lift and the shower, in our room at least was set over a hip bath which required a step over of about a foot to enter.
6.3 Good
Pros: Vintage style, beautiful and quit place.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Sounds from other rooms were loud. Nothing to see in this village. No shops, no restaurants.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Location was quite, and pleasant. The facility was looked after properly
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very quiet location in a pretty village. Easy to find & an old, quaint B & B. The owners do not live on-site so you have to wait for them to arrive after a phone call. The room was ok, comfortable but fairly basic; no tv, radio etc...Breakfast was just bread & jam plus coffee/tea & juice. The owners do not speak English but I did manage to communicate ok. If you want a comfortable & quiet getaway, maybe this will be ok for you.
Cons: I would have liked a good breakfast to start the day, with a minimum eggs & toast.... But at least the coffee was good.
