Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages, and 506 Bistro and Lounge serves breakfast and dinner. An indoor pool and a free kid's club are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale inn offer up nice touches like iPod docks and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
It was very homey and pleasant only thing that I would have loved was a hot tub during the winter months an out door hot tub would be so great
Pros: The hotel staff was amazing the owners were extremely friendly helped with any questions I had about the area and provided one of best experiences iv had on vacation
It is an inn and not a full service hotel. When asked, the owners will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. The room was charming and better in person than pictured in the website.
Pros: I liked Steve, owner and his assistant. They were helpful at providing background information about the area, places to visit, very knowledgeable. The breakfast table and coffee were ideal. It is very close to Killington. Very quiet at night.
Cons: Wifi was not the strongest but than we were not staying there to read our email or play games. There is plenty to do outside of the room and inn.
Great spot for a quick stay or ski place. Awesome staff. The only real issue is that the decor/fixtures are very dated and some in need of repair. Very clean and comfortable.
Pros: Staff was EXTREMELY pleasant and welcoming! VERY clean room and comfortable beds.
Cons: It was very dated decor, bathrooms were small
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great for our needs.
Cons: I felt like it was expensive for the time of year and accommodations. It was after the height of ski season and before summer rates.
At Greenbrier Inn, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Killington Resort. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite hiking/biking trails and snowshoeing. A seasonal outdoor pool and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Mary and Bill were excellent hosts - they are extremely friendly, warm and run a wonderful small inn. Our stay definitely added to our time in Killington.
Cons: The inn is slightly outdated but kept clean and is well-maintained.
Birch Ridge Inn puts you just a 5-minute drive from Killington Resort. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Nice touches like iPod docks, MP3 docks, and premium bedding are offered up in all rooms.
Pros: It was a,picture perfect Nee England Inn. Great location.
Cons: We liked everything.
Adjacent to a golf course, Woodstock Inn & Resort is a great choice for a stay in Woodstock. Guests indulge in spa services, then grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. An indoor pool and a health club are other highlights, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Very comfortable and coZy, staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
Pros: Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly
Pros: Beautiful, classic Vermont inn in a stunning setting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Inn was super clean and lovely. Delicious and generous breakfast was the perfect start before heading out to the many nearby activities. Can't wait to go back!!
The Vermont Inn is a great choice for a stay in Mendon. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in massages. A bar/lounge and a 24-hour fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer MP3 docks and free WiFi.
Pros: Excellent place to stay to visit Okemo and Killington
Cons: General had no butter and only holiday spiced beer...during the three days I spent they did not replenish. The staff did not have or could not get permission to restock. Pass on apps at resteruant but do get main entrees ...bar was out of Jack Daniels??
Pros: Excellent room for price. WiFi works well in and out of the hotel. Bandwidth is good enough to video chat. Very scenic in the mountain get away. Good 8ft pool and running trail.
Cons: No cell phone reception. Easy fix is to use WiFi to text using app.
Pros: Location was beautiful. Mountains right outside the windows. Would be great during winter as the ski slopes are right outside.
Cons: Main building was under construction and closed. Was not aware of this before arrival. Restaurant and Arcade were in main building and therefore closed also. Had to travel off the mountain to town for any dining.
Pros: The location, the views and there was no cell service.
Cons: They say the rooms have fireplaces, when in fact all they are is an electric insert into a converted gas fireplace. Hard to have a romantic get away with the wife with an electric fireplace.
unless you ski there is little to do at this hotel.
Pros: Staff were friendly and cordial.
Cons: The place was built for a ski resort but the resort closed so it is miles from area attractions. Bathroom was small. T.V. reception poor.
Cons: Showed up at 4:15. Still had to wait another hour before I could enter my room. Check ins started at 3pm. Staffing in restaurant needed more employess took 2 hours total to dine.
Very far off beaten path but awesome room.
Pros: Awesome villa. Extremely clean.
Cons: Maybe you should tell people the ski area is closed. People upstairs drunk and obnoxious. Too bad that we got up at 4 and did not worry about waking them....
The hotel was in a great location and offered a variety of things to do. The room was cluttered and disappointing with a small bathroom, a dirty pullout couch, but was replete with cooking essentials. Staff was reluctantly helpful when approached with complaints about crumbs and whole crackers in the pullout couch. Their compensation was complimentary breakfast coupons to a completely lackluster buffet. If I had to pay for it; iI would have demanded my money back. The tavern was severely over-priced with small portions and food devoid of any flavor. The kids burger was the size of a small breakfast sausage on an oversized bun. Finally, a deposit of $115.00 Was authorized on my credit card after I had already paid for the entire stay prior to my arrival! I was assured that this would be released immediately upon check out and it has been a couple of days already. I was not told about this upon booking the reservation. When questioned, they said it was because it was a timeshare. I am part of a premier vacation club and they do not even do Take a deposit.
Pros: The kitchen area was clean and stocked with ample cookware.
Cons: Went to open up couch for my kids to sleep in and pullout was covered in crumbs and whole crackers. Food in tavern was over priced, small portions and unpalatable. The 'breakfast buffet', which you have to pay for, was sparse And disappointing.
As a person who manages a hotel property, I have developed a keen sense in evaluating a property. This hotel is in a great location and offers competitive amenities. The property itself is designed and maintained beautifully, unfortunately the decor and appliances used on site are of poor quality and cheapen the experience. Breakfast was not appealing, the selection offered were also poorly prepared (ex. over cooked eggs). Surprisingly, this property did not offer a dnd sign in the room. I would recommend that the property place courtesy calls to their guest during the stay, to ensure customer satisfaction. I also contacted the property regarding a lost and found item; I provided the shipping information and credit card for payment. Seventy-two hours later I have not received an updated, so I am unsure if the issue has been resolved.
Pros: The room attendant was geninuely kind and helpful during our stay.
Cons: The checkout time was not clearly stated nor printed on premise. The day of our departure the front desk agent called the room regarding a billing issue, yet failed to realize that the error was caused on the hotels part. No apology was offered
Great overall impression!
Pros: Super staff! Loved the room/suite and the wonderful area. Manager was extremely helpful with a room switch. Great experience that I will gladly repeat again in the future!

Pros: The ambiance was inviting, the rooms were so serenely decorated and spotless. It definitely has a Vermont spa feeling. The staff were so accommodating too. We arrived very late at night and they provided a wonderful breakfast late the next morning.
Cons: A hot breakfast would be a nice addition on the weekends but not necessary.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back at some point! :-)
Pros: The hotel was impeccably decorated and one of the innkeepers we met was very personable. The bed was super comfortable and the heated floors in the bathrooms were very nice. The breakfast was an exquisite continental. We enjoyed the lake.
Cons: There was a lot of light peeking through the door cracks from the hallway and it kept me up, but I just put a shirt over my eyes and it was ok.

Pros: The service was great as we were upgraded due to a suite and found it to be wonderful and will probably book there again as we are frequently in the area
Close to slopes
TV, mini fridge and microwave in room
We only stayed one night, we chose this after looking at reviews because it was the cheapest hotel that seemed decent.
Cons: Booked a room for my boyfriend and I, the room had 2 full beds instead of a queen. We decided to share one bed and it wasn't an issue.
Pros: The hotel looked nice & the staff was pleasant.
Cons: We arrived on a Friday & booked for 2 nights. We were there to attend a nearby wedding. About 10:00 PM bus loads of teenagers arrived. There was no supervision & they were totally out of control. They were above us & next to us. The extreme noise & throwing things went on all night long. We couldn't sleep at all. The front desk was called several times for security But no one arrived. We checked out & received a refund thanks to the help of Kayak. We were able to get another room where the wedding was being held & all is good.
Cons: a couple of buses of young 20 somethings arrived late friday nite and continued to party and be very loud alll night long. there was supposedly extra security on to handle them, but nothing was done!!! other members of the weddingd party we were attending checked out and got a refund!
Pros: Traveling with my parents who have limited mobility, I requested two rooms on the ground floor as there are no elevators. My request was granted.
Cons: The two rooms on the ground floor were not adjacent. According to the staff, the room adjacent to each room was a suite and not in the same price category.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Variety of breakfast items. to please a variety of needs and tastes, even soy milk.
Pros: It was comfortable and staff was very nice

Cons: It was a little small and only had a community refrigerator but still very nice place to stay
Pros: The atmosphere was all about service and customer satisfaction. We were always greeted with kindness and concern that our needs were being met. Parking was perfect and the hotel layout was easy to navigate and was well marked. The food was excellent.
Cons: It would have been nice to get a newly updated room, but our room was clean and pleasant just the same. I would have spent more time in the common room had the fire been burning more frequently.
Pros: Very homy. Staff very personable. Jacuzzi. Less than 10 minutes away from the mountain.
Cons: My room REEKED of weed; fresh weed. Not that I hate weed or anything, just didn't want to experience it to that moment. I'm sure if I brought it to the staffs attention I would have gotten a different room though. Didn't want to cause any trouble.
It has curb appeal, helpful staff, several comfortable public seating areas. Beautiful scenery to see as you eat breakfast. Has a nice deck area with hot tub.
Pros: Friendly staff, self-baked waffles included with breakfast. Easy to find, quiet.
Cons: TV is up high facing the bed. Ideally lower and facing the table and chairs in the corner for those staying up late to watch.
Ok for price, nice staff.

Pros: Charming building and location - felt like visiting a relative more than staying in a hotel. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was substantial and tasty.
Cons: No television in the room (not a deal-breaker, but would have been nice to have) and Wifi was weak, at best.
