The bed was comfortable. Heard people talking and slamming doors thur out the night. It's like staying at a outdated house and the door to your room is just like a bedroom door. I advise get a hotel even if it's 40 mins away, will be worth so much more!!! It's like staying at your grandmothers house.unsatisfactory . I don't know why people rate this as excellent. Maybe it's good only because it's close to the skiing places etc. bathrm tile is disgusting. Next time will stay@ a hotel that offers much more.
Very charming, lovely place with very polite and accommodating owners, would defin. Return there!
The breakfast choices were amazing! Five plus choices every morning. The staff was very attentive, and owners asked every morning if we slept well. The B&B is also within walking distance The Fondue Château Restaurant which was extremely good.
The entire hotel is awesome. The staff, food, grounds A+
Great room, extremely accommodating and friendly staff, really neat place
The hardworking, courteous and accommodating staff Closer to the village would be nice but it's close enough not to be a problem
Friendly checkin- clean Extremely overpriced- would have been a decent room for $----/night
Very friendly and helpful owner No AC. Since its in the mountains you don't need it much probably but we were there on a 90 degree day w high humidity!
Very comfortable B&B! Always a pleasant experience.
The owners are lovely and welcoming . The breakfast was fabulous with fresh ingredients from their own garden. Nothing
Amazing reception by its owners Very good breakfast companion in this BnB which they share theirs stories. Great to go with family Extremely close to Windham and Hunters mountain to do winter sports. These are the best mountains in the east coast.
Beds on Clouds has all the essentials for a great B&B - Very clean, friendly owners, great breakfast in the morning, walking distance to everything you want in Windham. The only thing missing (and this is minor) is that quiet space to read, think, drink wine, etc. But the house has a great front porch to make up for it.
The housekeepers did a great job keeping our room clean and tidy. The entire facility is old and in dire need of maintenance and repairs. The shower and tub fixtures were old and leaky. Our bathroom light was faulty and would turn off on its own while you were in the tub or on the toilet. There were not enough outlets to charge our phones. The smell of cedar permeates everything and set off my allergies forcing me to take benadryl all weekend. Lastly the thermostats are outdated and my wife and I stayed cold all weekend because the air conditioner was either constantly on or off.
We were attending a funeral so we weren't really there for pleasure. The accommodations were fine for what we needed. There was a problem with the toilet and you had to flush it two or three times. The breakfast was just o.k. The coffee wasn't hot.
Very friendly staff, close to major roads, very quiet area, nicely setup breakfast / restaurant room. Reasonably priced compare to other hotels in the area and one of few to let you stay for one night. Rooms may need some updates.
It seemed clean, the bathroom was spacious. Location is close to lots of outdoor activities. Facilities seemed clean but definitely have seen better days. Despite being advertised, the wifi and tv both did not work. We couldn't find anyone to ask to fix our TV, and when we left a note it went ignored. You can hear your neighbors, the floors are slanted and floorboards bend under your feet. Be prepared to either put money in the jukebox or sit in total silence at the bar. We booked last minute and it was the only thing available. As a place to lay our heads it served its purpose, but I would never return. Especially not at this price. There's plenty of places that actually care that charge the same or less.
Let me preface this by saying the house/hotel was built in the 1880s so I had to be forgiving. While the beds were comfortable (a huge plus), the room set up was bizarre. The second bed was directly under a window a/c unit, so we had to sleep in the bed pressed up against the wall to avoid freezing our heads. The floors were unbelievably slanted which was bizarre, and the bathroom had drop ceilings and dead bugs in the flourescent lighting. The towels weren't much bigger than washcloths. For 30 dollars less a night I wouldnt complain at all, but would expect nicer digs for over a hunder per night. One thing I will say, it was quiet. It is fine if you need a place to sleep because you are in town for a wedding or big event, but not for a stay of more than a night or two. If I had my kids with me I would have been far less forgiving.
Friendly and angaging hostess. Beautiful old home with many nice fwatures.
Easy to find, Loreen was a very gracious and lovely host. Room had everything I needed for my one night, quick stay.
The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice on touring the Catskill area. The location was very quiet and peaceful.
The house is beautiful.
Very nice, easy going, accommodating family. Incredibly good, fresh baked, blueberry muffins and probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Ever. I'd go back if I'm in the area again. That I wasn't going to be there for one more day so that I could have another breakfast and fresh baked muffin!
