Cons: We stayed in a suite with mini bar and for whatever reason ours wouldn’t unlock. I called down to the desk and they said they would unlock it but never did. It was unfortunate we couldn’t treat ourselves to beverages when that is in if the reasons I choose that hotel.

Cons: Beds were too small to accommodate a family of four comfortably. We opted to pull out the sofa bed and the mattress had seen better days - the kids woke up with sore backs from the springs. One of our family has a height phobia and so it would be good if you note that the elevators have glass doors so as to determine beforehand if this property is suitable. This caused a bit of angst for the family member each time they were used. Other than that though, great place.

Cons: We stayed in room 302 which was very close to the jacuzzi and it was very loud approaching 9:30 pm . I noticed in the hotels information book the pool area was supposed to be closed at 9 pm. I phoned down to the front desk to mention that we were tired and needed sleep and can hear a lot of noise from the jacuzzi i area and the person at front desk mentioned it closes at 10 pm so I mentioned to her that the book says 9 so I suggest that the hotel implements this 9 pm shut down of the pool area and inform your staff of the proper times so your guests can get some rest.

Cons: There is on the street parking but it is metered with a two-hour limit after 8am or before 6pm Mon-Sat, so you will get a parking ticket if you sleep in. The street gutter was filled with leaves, making it a little messy for shoes and luggage. There is a $16 city lot just a block away... But it is a block away. A valet service would be ideal. As other guests have commented, some room elements such as sinks are beginning to show signs of age, but they did not detract from the outstanding value of our room.

Cons: As with any older building, there are things that need repaired/replaced. Our bathroom door had to be forced open as the floor was raised a little preventing it to open without pushing hard. The elevator didn't work one night but was then fixed. Parking is off site but only a short walk around the block to the parking garage so not a big deal.

We slept well in the large, comfortable bed, and enjoyed the spacious bathroom. The hotel was very quiet, even though there were two weddings in the ballroom while we were there.
The decor from start to finish was unfortunate. The carpet and walls are midnight blue, and the carpet is spotted with 5" diameter cream-colored dots. In our room, one chair was a deep-acid green, as were the couch pillows, but the couch was brown and tan, while the curtains were a purple-grey. Topping it off were matching camel-colored armchairs. The bathroom is tiled in foot-square mauve marble-look-alike tiles.
The room had a powerful "floral" scent. Although we opened all the windows and ran the fan, it seemed every time we entered the room the smell was as strong as ever. I looked around for a plug-in room freshener but could not find one.
The sink faucet leaked and the sink did not drain properly. (I reported it so likely it will be fixed.)
There was no information about use of the television or where to find stations.

Pros: This was a surprising little oasis right next to Old Sac. It was very reasonable, a pretty nice place actually. Very clean. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was also pretty good. I'd definitely stay there again, and hopefully use it as a home base for a little more exploring next time.

Cons: Only thing that was funny about our room specifically was that there was a 1 inch air gap on the bottom of the door to the outside. but, throw a towel over it and good to go for the noise outside.

Cons: You pay for what you get. Everything was good/great for the value, but at that price point you also get room neighbors who aren't necessarily the most desirable (not that anything bad happened). This was all based off of judgement/observations, but it wouldn't be the best place to be walking around at night by yourself or a place you would want your significant other walking around. Not the hotels fault.

Cons: We stayed for a concert. Had checked out and went to Old Sacramento decided to stay another night. First room was fine. Second room #203 was same in size but not happy about the shower. I am 5'6" and husband is 6'2". The shower head would have been perfect for somebody who was 5 foot. Was very short. That was our only issue.

Cons: The price, the smell of urine in the room- the “wonky” floor of the shower, the uneven bricks on the patio- the fact that i has asked for two queens and a pullout bed/cot... and they said they upgraded me to two queens.... When you’re traveling with friends- you don’t necessarily want to sleep in the same bed as him/her. I had asked for early check in on my reservation- and did not get a room until 3pm. I was told with a “snarky” comment- l...it’s a request you’re not guaranteed so just wait..”

Cons: Bed was horrible. Like some one 500lb slept in it for extended stay bc my body kept rolling into the pit. The bathroom the tank lid was half off like it didn't fit or maybe maintenance repaired it earlier and didn't place the lid on correctly.

Cons: The shower drain was clogged, the shower wasn’t even an actual shower. I had to have my boyfriend hold the shower head up so I could shower properly. The blankets were so thin. I was cold. The walls were also super thin. I could hear the neighbor’s conversations. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cons: The airport shuttle stops at 11pm, which was not listed on the site. I emailed with flight time (11:27pm arrival) and shuttle request and they responded with some information about it being a non-smoking hotel... ??? So I didn't get the info needed until after cancelation option had passed. Stale smell in room when I walked in, seemed to dissipate eventually.

Early in the morni g called the front desk to tell them that I wanted to stay another night. They said no that they were booked. So had to hurry up and get ready to go. Early in the morni g called the front desk to tell them that I wanted to stay another night. They said no that they were booked. So had to hurry up and get ready to go. Cons: Didnt like that they did not let me stay an extra night. Said they were fully booked. But online when looking for a motel. The place had rooms available. Also had to hurry up and get out. Since check out time came real quick.

Cons: The entire facilities were kind of old and not the most clean. The carpets and showers in the room were looking like they needed to be replaced a long time ago. The Gym was very small and had very limited selection from which not everything was working - could have been greatly improved.

I am guessing they must profit from towing their guests cars. The only professional people were the cleaning staff.

Cons: The pictures on here make it seem like an okay hotel, but it isn't. It's more of a dirty motel vibe than anything. Our room was dirty, there were hairs on our bed and shower, the smoke alarms were missing (only cables visible), our "big tv" was a very old block TV with feedback (no matter the volume, the feedback was intense), the phone did not work, the towels had stains in them, the service was not there either. Our room didn't get serviced at all, I had to go find the cleaning ladies to ask for toilet paper for our room. We arrived 40 minutes prior to check-in and we were told we would have to pay a fee for checking in early, so we decided to wait. After 15 mins or so, someone comes in and asks to check in, the front desk person lets her check in without issues. Then she looks at us and says "I can check you in now." Should've taken this as a sign, but it was too late to book somewhere else. If you can afford another place, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you only have limited funds, make sure to bring your own pillows, covers, and towels!
