View was wonderful. Parking too tight. Old room. Old bathroom. Second night, several fire alarms. Went out side with two other couples Others remained in the bar. Was not approached by any staff. was not told what the problem was. Was not told it was OK to go Bach to room called the desk when the alarms we t off again. Asked the front desk if we needed to evaluate again. Was told no and then hung up on. Very un professional. Not a well run ship at all. Sub part for 500 a day. Very sub par.
Enough said My stay was to short!
I would not recommend this hotel. Simply, it is not worth the money. This is supposedly a luxury hotel. The common areas, indeed, are lovely. The rooms are not lovely, however, and the bathroom attached to our room was claustrophobic. The service at the front desk upon check-in and check-out was fine, but, other than that, the service was mediocre to poor; and, surprisingly, no one at the hotel seemed to know anything about the area except for the little town of St. Michaels.
Sheer understated luxury no
Being on the water and the view of the water The infinity pool The gorgeous Spa The excellent restaurant The fact that the place had character and was older yet impeccably maintained The room had a stifling little outdoor patio--would have been better to scrap it and the privacy fence and just have it be open space with bushes and flowers
The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. They allowed pets (for a fee) and now our dog is spoiled for life! The pub was romantic, and the view was great.
great place, first time there but definetely not the last.Food was great and the service just as good, the rooms are perfectly decorated
We were very please with our stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin. It was our 20th anniversary and I wanted something special. Our room was a Studio in the Main building. We were close to everything, the restaurant, bar and lobby. The room was delightful with a lot of character. Kind of reminded me of a bed and breakfast in a hotel. From the moment we walked through the door, every staff member was kind, informative and attentive. We were treated like kings and queens. I was really impressed with the service. Every night, our bed was turned down, on each bedside stand was a bottle of water and a glass. Every day we had fresh apples and cookies left in our room. At first I felt the rooms were a little on the expensive side, but after my stay, with all the extras that were included, it was well worth it. The restaurant's breakfasts were exceptional. The Cream of Crab soup was the best I have ever had. I cannot think of one negative thing about this hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to downtown shops in St. Michaels. They also have a shuttle van if you do not want to walk.
Good room rate and close proximity to the main strip of St. Michael's shops and restaurants. The room didn't have great ventilation (the air felt damp) and the décor was dated.
Set back from the main highway, but right next to an excellent seafood resturant. Nothing, it was very nice - NOTE it is no longer a Best Western, but the standards are the same!
Cute room decor. Clean, quiet and well managed. Bill included breakfast and it was hearty-included hot food. Just a 1.6 miles from downtown St. Michaels.Would go back.
Reservation was for two double beds. (Couple plus adult daughter). Entered room and there was a queen. Ended up with a cot for daughter - not ideal, but were told no other rooms available. Parking lot had less than a dozen cars. Furniture was covered with grout dust from recent bathroom remodel. Attendant offered to clean it, but as it was very late, and we were tired, we opted to ignore it. Adequate for an overnight stay, - would not recommend for longer time.
The location of the resort is right on the water and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing that was too difficult or out of the ordinary. Clay, who runs the restaurant and bar, is wonderful. While the rooms are a bit dated, it is clear that improvements are being made. Regardless, it is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting St. Michaels and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
It was clean. On the water. But if you don't golf, I wouldn't recommend it. The restaurant was completely reserved for a birthday party. The other option was the country club with medicre food. Over priced for one night stay. Terrible food in the country clubhouse: freezer style burgers and poor wine.
Clean, comfortable room, convenient location. Breakfast was disappointing.
The staff was accommodating and the facilities were very relaxing. The location was perfect and bikes were offered to guests. There was only one glitch...no small refrigerator in the room. You must ask for a certain type of room, King room, I believe. But that was never a deal breaker.
In town quaint shops right out the door. Like having Georgetown on the Eastern Shore. Food is over the top. Oyster and crab cuisine. Entire staff are world class! NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM??!! Don't make me go to the restaurant and pay 3$ a cup when I'm in my pajamas! Bathroom is small one person at a time. No guide for tv and tv had volume problems which I reported but it wasn't fixed. Suspect it was the set itself.
Location was center of historic district Bar was understaffed. The bathrooms were given a quick makeover and it showed. Tile work was bad.
Really liked this hotel, amd especially the location in the heart of downtown Easton. So convenient to walk to restaurants & shops! Staff was wonderful, sunday brunch was great. Clean rooms & comfy beds. Will definitely stay here again.
All the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a pet friendly hotel so we brought our dog, no issues. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere with multiple fireplaces and seating areas. Outdoor fireplace was nice to sit in the brisk December air and sip a cocktail. The restaurant was delicious.
Friendly and helpful staff Free and good breakfast Fruits, yogurt, juice, etc., available all day Well maintained
Room was nice. Clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Standard continental breakfast. I was a wedding guest, and my car was at the reception. When the taxi cab I called failed, the manager literally got in his truck and took me to the reception, 15-20 min away. Stunning generosity, good people
From the well-appointed rooms, scenic location, and delicious breakfast bar, to the wonderfully nice and super helpful staff, this has been one of my favorite hotel stays in many years. Each staff memeber I interacted with was cheerful, and always greeted me with a smile. I'm looking forward to returning to this location! The oddest and only complaint I have about this entire stay is about the weight of the doors on the rooms. I know it sounds weird, but their room doors are much heavier than I expected. But, as I said, it's the ONLY complaint I have.
i liked location close to restaurants and beautiful waterviews but way too expensive to not even include a breakfast of some kind.. Sue Rooms were nice and balcony was a plus.
Room was spacious Nice beds Buffet breakfast nice touch Nice nearby restaurants
Problems with upgrading my room through hotels.com. On the phone for an hour the first time. Never received the updated email. The original email was sent but no upgrade. Called back to get the updated email with room upgrade and it wasn't done. Spend a long time on the phone once again. Notes were not added to account and it did not show upgrade even after credit card info was taken for a second time. Had to finally make payment at the hotel. After checking and comparing fees from hotels.com and the inn it was only a 2.00 difference. For the aggravation, I should have just booked with the inn. Will not book with hotels.com again
Lovely, lovely place. Very Friendly and accommodating. Excellent 3 night stay!!
Restaurant and staff were amazing. Farm to table and locally sourced. The beds have a ledge I hit my shin on twice. Second time drew blood.
The motel was very, very clean and the staff was very helpful in solving any question or problem The motel is not new, but was very good value considering the price and how clean it was.
The blankets had holes and the breadspread had dirty stains. The room smelled horrible.
Location to St. Michaels, MD Front of vanity was leaning up against the wall. There was a strange odor in the room, like stale smoke. The bathroom needs to be caulked - where the tub met the wall was a huge crack all the wall around.
I came for Ironman MD and the location was very convenient. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We were overrun by fruit flies! Had to smash a roach crawling on the wall. The toilet had not been cleaned. We were right jext to the stairs and heard people going up and down all the time.
location and price ok Outside of building was filthy, flies in dumpster got into vehicle coming and going. Room was a little better, but not much. Evidence of previous guests, hair in shower, bobby pin on floor, some sort of construction material (spackle?) imbedded in rug. Complimentary "breakfast" was joke (thawed frozen waffles and cereal), coffee was terrible. On certain channels (ESPN & TWC notably) TV screen would malfunction.
I was given a refund-staff was nice about my concernes tub was disgusting, faucet had a continuous stream of hot water coming out of it, mold on carpet by fridge which was also covered with some kind of sludge, sink with hair, flies in room, stank like smoke(non smoking room)/dog/mold combination
