Pros (+) For being snack dab in the middle of downtown and over 100 years old, the room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable
Cons (-) I ordered room service for dinner and had the breakfast buffet in Garden Court - both were decent but definitely below my expectations of what a luxury hotel can deliver in terms of quality & creativity on the menu.

Pros (+) This is a great hotel, a retreat from the noise and business of San Francisco. It is a beautiful gentle well appointed place to stay. The peace and calm that pervades every part of this hotel seeps into your heart. You relax as soon as you walk in the door. The beds are comfortable, beautiful pillows, well appointed rooms.
