3.4 Poor
Cons:Shower was dirty - appeared to be mildew and mold. At about 5am, commercial garbage trucks can to empty the dumpsters... this was extremely loud; we were on first floor and it sounded as though this was literally right outside our door. And then the garbage truck came back about 10 min later. Very annoying. The hotel has made some upgrades to be more modern, but you can tell they "cut corners" on the workmanship and quality. It's not the best.

5.7 Passable
Cons:Noisy Desk agent couldn’t find my reservation
A
4.2 Mediocre
Cons:The toilet made a terrible noise every 10 minutes. We were too tired and checked in too late to go complain and I think they were full anyways so I don't think they would've moved us. Very mediocre place - not worth the money. I only booked there because it was close to where I needed to go the next day.

8.0 Great
Pros:Close to freeway, staff were friendly and helpful. Updated rooms. Free parking. Free WiFi
Cons:Would have liked 4 pillows in the bed. Bed frame was extended and always hit our leg. More breakfast choices. Shower leaked hot water from the nozzle

Cons:We had to wait for towels

Cons:Small. Tight. Outlets are loose

7.4 Good
Pros:Room was well-appointed and furnishings were modern.
Cons:Morning clerk at the front desk was rude.
A
2.0 Bad
Pros:The parking was free. That was great. Don't often see that nowadays in and around the city.
Cons:The mattress had literally no bounce to it and I'm convinced it was plywood or maybe a big flat rock. Whatever it was it certainly was not even suitable to sleep on. My 3 year old who can sleep anywhere couldn't even sleep on that bed. My 2 month old myself and my 3 year old all developed awful rashes on our bodies from the towels and sheets. The towels smelled like burned plastic. The floors were so filthy you couldn't walk without shoes. Mystery stain about 3 feet wide in the middle of the floor. No bath tub. Just a leaky shower with awful water pressure. I can't express enough that the "mattresses" we're the most uncomfortable! I sat on it and it after a long day of traveling with two small kids I had to laugh to keep from crying. I would have slept in the car If the neighborhood didn't look so sketchy. The breakfast- half a pack of frozen waffles, a bag of generic and stale bagels and corn flakes. The syrup container was disgusting and sticky with a dead fly stuck to it. We had juice and left exhausted and hungry. You get what you pay for. I'll be paying more to stay at a sanitary hotel from now on. I learned my lesson.

7.4 Good
Pros:I didn't hear a train like other reviewers did, but I also slept with the fan on all night to drown out any noise. I greatly appreciated the good size in-room fridge, microwave, and free wifi. Staff was polite. Bed was comfy. There was an ice and soda machine on the property. Hotels in that area are pricey. This was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find.
Cons:I did hit my shin on the frame of the bed like many other reviewers did. The sink faucet needed to be secured with bolts on the underside. Every time I pulled up on it, it lifted up so I had to use my other hand to push it down. Furniture was worn/scratched. Breakfast is all carbs (pre-made waffles and pancakes, cereal, bagels, juice). If you're on a Paleo diet there will be nothing for you to eat so bring your own food and store it in the in-room fridge.

7.4 Good
Pros:The room was very clean had space to move around. It was in walking distance to the San Mateo Event center and a shopping mall was a short drive away. I always appreciate free Wifi.
Cons:The front desk person could have been more amicable.
