Friendly staff, location Room reeking of smoke and mold, dirty carpets, uncomfortable bed, dirty furniture.
Breakfast yogurt bar was exceptional (fresh fruit, granola, coconut, etc). It was awesome! Bed was sooooooo comfortable and price was good. Awesome location and friendly staff. No complaints. Room was spotless and in wonderful condition. I did't get to use the outdoor pool while I was there.
The room is a little bit small and old.
Convenience of location. Hotel staff was friendly The fire alarm went off on Saturday morning for like 20 mins. The bed sheets had stains. The room was not vaccummed throughly.
Excellent airport location and friendly staff. Hot breakfast, comfy & spacious rooms, nothing but good things to say! The shuttle drivers were wonderful, the front desk staff was helpful and kind.
Employees were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and nice. Location was good for us. Hotel was quiet. Room was a bit small. For 2 people was fine. For 4 may be a little cramped.
I stay in this hotel when I have a very early morning flight (I live an hour from Richmond). The hotel is older, but well maintained and updated. The room has a refrigerator and plenty of outlets for laptops and phones. There is an exercise room and the breakfast layout was extensive. Staff are friendly and efficient.
The most important thing is that MY WIFE LIKED IT. Very nice and clean room. Nothing smelled funny like other hole-in -the-wall places. She would let me take her there again. It was very close to the airport with shuttle service and there are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. For 74 bucks i'd go back again anytime.
Close to airport. Shuttle very convenient. Rooms are suites. Comfortable beds and appreciated having sitting area, fridge, and microwave. Very friendly staff. It would have been nice if some sort of breakfast were included. That said, breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order, rather than the usual buffet, as we traveled in the off season.
Location When i booked on line was the double tree hotel and when i arrive at the hotel was a diferent hotel
Location and the size of the room for the price was excellent. Room had not been adequately cleaned since the last guest stayed. Hair in the bathroom, broken plaster on the floor in the bathroom. Water spots on the ceiling.
10 dollars for a continental breakfast seems a little extreme.
The food was good. The front desk personnel were very friendly. The walls and ceiling needed to be repaired and painted. The refrigerator wasn't cold. The carpet needed vacuuming. The one vending machine was too expensive for a soda, $2.50???
The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable
The hotel felt grimy, old and dirty. Paint was flaking off the walls, everything smelled like mildew and I was suspicious of the bathroom cleanliness
It was near the airport. That's the only good thing I can say. It was run down & disgusting. I don't think the bathroom had ever been cleaned. Not a deep clean anyway. There was hair everywhere & mysterious sticky dirt spots on the floor, & black in the tub. Speaking of the water adjuster in the shower just spun in place so there was no adjusting the temperature which meant no showers. When my husband informed the manager he got major attitude & was told it was fine. Ok. We are almost 40 - I think we know if a shower works properly or not. I would not put my 11 month old son on the floor or let him touch anything.
I liked the fact that the hotel was right next to the airport but still pretty hidden away from everything, which was good if you wanted some piece and quite. The staff was really nice and friendly. The hotel was gorgeous, really clean. The only thing I didn't like was that they had an event one of the nights I wa there and they didn't have enough parking to accommodate all the cars. I had to park my car in the drop off and pick up location right in front of the hotel (which was perfectly fine with the hotel).
Aireport Value with extended parking for small additional charge. Simple reasonable. Icemaker broken but ice avail at bar.
Close to the airport. Shuttle was convenient, fast and drivers were very personable. Nothing.
Location to airport.breakfast, courteous staff Closet door handle came off, Son's room door handle came off, toilet did not flush
Pool was closed
Nice room, great price , good location. Staff is great.
The pool! Our kids really enjoyed it.
Friendly staff. Location. Below parking. Starbucks. Rooms. TV size. Rooms!
It was beautiful.
Great views but very expensive parking!
Love the charm of its period decor. N/A
Staff was accommodating, put the flower in the room I asked for. Upgraded us to a better room after checking in, was attentive with needs for ice and deliveries Pool wasn't open, it was easy to get lost and enter the construction areas of the hotel. We couldn't get into teatime which was frustrating
Jefferson staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful!
Staff was super friendly, and the bed was great after the our drive.
The warm, friendly staff made the experience for us. Accommodating and genuine! The breakfast value and selection was terrific. We liked how easy it was to hop off and on 95. The room was older, spring mattress was stiff, no remote control and the TV didn't work.
Had what we needed to rest for the night and the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly Could not take advantage of the breakfast because we had to leave so early
A pleasant experience. Will definitely return on return trip.
The room was ok, breakfast was nice. We booked this before going on a road trip because of its proximity to I-95 and because they were listed as Pet Friendly. When we got there we were told that there would be an additional fee of $50 and that they were no longer pet friendly.
Descent hotel for reasonable rate The fact that they advertise breakfast included, but it's only for 1 day of your entire stay
Price. Twenty dollar voucher for breakfast in attached restaurant. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning did not work correctly. Numerous stains on the carpet and table top. Wall protector for door handle was smashed into wall and broken.
-Great location -Beautiful hotel -Very friendly and helpful staff -Pizza deliveries right to room door -Menu was not as expanded as I thought it would be -Reserved room w/ balcony. To our major disappointment, our balcony had a 5 1/2 foot wall that was not noted in advertisement - major let down.
Quaint and location was great! Staff was fantastic! Every one of them during our stay-- from the valet to housekeeping. The noise from the street and the bed mattress seems to be old.
Location was great. Staff was responsive to an issue we had. Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Room just the right size unlike other boutique hotels. Parking is too expensive. Housekeeping was a little too anxious to clean the room.
The staff was extremely helpful and willing to support with all our needs! Great location in downtown Richmond. Walking distance to great resturants and bars.
Elegant clubby atmosphere. Well appointed room and comfy bed. Plumbing made noise during the night.
The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms spacious. The beds were to die for! By far the best rest I've had in some time. I would definitely return when in Richmond again.
Room / Hotel staff overall was clean and hospitable I didn't like the fact that we were stuck in a room in the back facing a wall. I will probably go back to the Omni or try the Renaissance Hotel next time in Richmond. At least there you're not looking at brick walls. I parked on the street couple blocks up due to over priced valet......it simply isn't needed with the parking garages around.
Clean. Great location! Comfortable bed. Broken coffee maker. No biggie, Starbucks is across the street.
The hotel was nicely maintained and clean with very nice rooms. The location was great and walkable to many restaurants and shops. I was disappointed when they confirmed my request for a small refrigerator via text message but once I got there couldn't find it in my room. I called the front text who notified me that there are no rooms with refrigerators but they could refrigerate things for me for 31$/day. NO thanks because I was also surprised by the 21$/day for parking.
Alfreda and Lilly were absolutely wonderful at the front desk!
Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. Lighting in the room was not bright enough; at least one mirror should be available in the room, outside of the bathroom; headboard was not attached firmly so it banged against the wall with any movement(had to wedge a towel between it and the wall).
The location to downtown Richmond is excellent with many restaurants nearby. Wish there was a schuttle to the airport which is only 15 minutes away.
The staff was extremely cheerful, ready to assist, and helpful. The location was very convenient. Overall a very pleasant stay. The bed was a bit too firm.
parking is not included, valet parking rated @ $ 23 per day. For those on personal trips: Across the street, public parking is available at $8-$18 per day, depends on timing.
clean and nice the heater made way to much noise. hard to sleep.
Enjoyed that the building was a urban refurbish. Every staff person went beyond what I expected regarding service. Our room was made available early in the day to meet our schedule. Very prompt transportation service. Would have been nice to have a more upscale restaurant in the hotel, but the large bar area and regar dining area were great for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Friendly atmosphere The price
We stayed only 1 night downtown.....but it was wonderful. Valet parking was quick and courteous. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was a wonderful bonus since there is so much to do in Richmond. The room was clean and tastefully decorated and the bar and restaurant were also wonderful , clean, and the staff courteous. Would definitely stay again.
Easy check-in, adjustable beds, free coffee, close to the Richmond Coliseum, free shuttle Valet took way too long--both days seemed to lack enough employees. We had to wait in a long line for 20+ minutes during both check-in and check-out.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and clean. Overall very good.
Staff behind the counter was nice. The pool and hot tub were filthy. One side of the building has water damage from the sprinklers going off. The remote didn't work. The mattress was old and saggy. Stopped serving breakfast at 0900. Poorly layed out. Paid $130/night for a giant dirty motel by the airport.
Comfy bed and excellent staff.
wished there could have been a bit more choice for a morning snack. The cheaper hotels have options (2 stars, etc.)

Clean, friendly, and convenient location. Kitchen staff standing under my window screaming at each other

The hotel is clean and breakfast is very affordable. Most items under $10. Nope
Clean and modern

Good location to airport and quick access to downtown. Overall I'd stay there again. Not close to other restaurants. In hotel food was OK. Overall cleanliness wasn't the best (7/10).
Accurately ranked as a three star hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant and friendly. No.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was convenient. Room was cleaned as promised.
Customer Service no
The overall customer service from all staff was great and made are stay so much more soothing. We have stayed in numerous Hilton and this is why we choose them over any other hotel. The pool area was very slick and my daughter did fall due to the slick tiles around the pool.
Location and their shuttle service! Awesome stay, great food!
Hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Workout facilities and pool areas were nice but not overly spacious. I'd definitely go back.
what i liked most was the front desk staff, they were very professional, which meant a lot to me. to be honest, there wasn't anything that i didn't like. it was a nice hotel, and my kids thought it was the best hotel ever.
The carriage house rooms that are disconnected from main Inn is where I stayed and it was lovely. The room was clean, the bathroom newly remodeled, the Queen bed soft and inviting. I had to leave before the included breakfast but I liked everything I saw. The area was near downtown but still a bit sketchy. I started walking to find a cafe or restaurant but then thought better of and turned around. The parking was valet for an extra $12 or street parking but if you parked on the street (if you found any) you would get towed if you didn't move by 7am or 8am.
Close to many Civil War Museums. Edgar Allen Poe lived across the street. Was a frequent visitor. Breakfast area was unattended. Trash piled up in can. However, I would stay again and recommend to others.
Room was excellent but had no mini fridge. Only window in the room was painted shut.
location price, old.
Location made it easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants and bars. Old town feel and culturally diverse area. Felt safe with strong police presence. Not a downside really, but no easy way to carry luggage to room. Uneven walks and paths for us that like our rolling luggage. You get what expect from a hotel built in the 1800's. Neat place. Rooms are dingy.
In room refrigerator made an awful noise, had to unplug
Never disappoints with convenience, location, charm. Had a different room this time, garden suite, and liked it. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, no noise issues. Lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, but otherwise great.
We were originally placed in a ground floor room (after requesting a room on a higher floor), which was dark and had a window into the hallway corridor. It felt as if you were in a dungeon. After our first night (of a two night stay) we discovered two bedbugs in our bed. We immediately notified the front desk which kindly agreed to change our room. Although the second room we were placed in was much nicer and on the top floor of the hotel, our stay was less than comfortable given the fact that it was difficult to sleep when imagining bedbugs crawling in bed with you. The hotel staff did not offer to compensate us in anyway for our troubles other than a gift mug. Although the hotel was booked for the weekend and we had heard good things about it, I would strongly recommended finding somewhere else to stay if visiting Richmond.
It was comfortable . the staff was super & pleasant enjoyed my stay No place to park
Price, and location specific to event I was attending. Very inflexible and relatively early check out time 11am only negative but well offset by price and location.
Wonderful venue. Very historic. Staff was very helpful checking our luggage for the day. No self parking
The decor and facilities were charming and attractive. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were good. The only downside was parking, which was basically impossible to find without paying for valet parking.
spacious room with fridge , and microwave.
Experienced female traveler. This hotel creeped me out despite the 3 star rating. I arrived after dark (5:30pm in Jan). It's in a neighborhood I wouldn't feel safe walking alone in. The up lights on the building are purple and the parking structure isn't lit. The exterior doors do not require a key card to enter. The room was clean but run down. Door frames detached from the wall, touch up paint not in the same sheen, shower fixtures loose and leaking.
It was cleanish. The linens were clean and the room was very large. I also had a balcony overlooking the pool. There was something that looked like a smear on the wall from someone smashing a mosquito. It was right behind a hanging towel so you know whoever cleaned the room saw it and was like, meh. There was a lot of wind that night and I could hear it howling all night! The door to the balcony was not completely sealed which is probably why I could hear the noise. If I were trying to sleep in the next morning and kids were at that pool, I probably would have heard all of that too!
Non-smoking room smelled like imbedded smoke. The air quality in the room was terrible. Felt like a dirty motel. Will not stay again.
Breakfast was included at this Clarion. Room was large and didn't feel cramped. There was a sofa. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Fitness room was adequate. Location was convenient. Bathroom light and fan were one switch. Couldn't just turn on the light alone. Fan was loud. First morning, housekeeping didn't come. I had difficulty with the WiFi at times.
Nothing. Run down, seemed like a transient housing facility. The ad on Kayak was completely opposite of what is there. Definitely not worth the $100.
The staff at the front desk! Check in time is 3:00 but they happily accommodated my wife and I with a room at 1:30. They didn't have to do that. It made the entire stay that much more enjoyable because of it. We needed to check in and get changed for a 2:30 engagement. Your hospitality just set the mood for the whole weekend! Thanks! Can't say I had any complaints.
Large bed -condom wrapper on hotel room floor behind night stand -ice cream left in freezer by previous occupant and not cleaned out -opened beer left in fridge by previous occupant and not cleaned out (Have pictures of)
Location Bathroom was a bit run down & dirty
Choose hotel because of it's close proximity to downtown Richmond Check in was great I believe his name was Edward very friendly. It is a hotel, but I was given a room on the first floor which was the feel of a motel I did not like that at all very noisy. I just didn't get a comfortable feeling. The room itself was ok at best felt shabby stained carpet, stained chair bathtub drain wouldn't stay open. I suggest paying extra for a nicer hotel or paying less for a motel because that what it feels like no different. I paid $90 for which I could of paid $50. for a motel. Hotel is close to downtown but not close to anything would not stay here again.
The location and air conditioning The hallways where hot. But it was over 100 degrees when I stayed there. Elevator was hard to work.
We stayat the Richmond Westin a few times a year. Always great staff, always comfortable beds, always super clean and welcoming. Great food...love the starbucks coffee in the lobby . Just a perfect Westin!
Room- clean, very comfortable, nice bathroom Staff- professional, efficient, very nice Amenities- free parking, free wi-fi, executive club lounge with continental breakfast and complimentary drinks/snacks throughout day Location- area around hotel isn't bad, just a bit far from downtown Richmond
I liked the simple neatness of the room as well as the ease of checking in. There were no problems going through a third party. It's a little out of the way from downtown, but I knew that ahead of time. Soft towels and a comfortable bed. The room was fairly clean. Could hear any noice outside in the halls, but I supose that's just a hotel.
The Hotel was clean, the staff friendly. Nice workout room and pool. The hotel was great. Booking.com/ Price line, not so great. I made a registration through them and it was obviously acknowledged hence the questionnaire I am filling out. They did not however send a conformation email and when I arrived at the Hotel they had no record of my booking. Fortunately they had a room available and were very accommodating.
The Westin is nice, clean and I like the location. A bit pricey for what we got. Staff was super nice. Our room was directly under the Executive Club and noisy as hell. We were kept awake too late and awoken before 6am the next day. Ugh.
My stay was very relaxing and comfortable. My toilet would not flush completely. I made the hotel aware at check- out and they just apologized. Ly
Impeccable Customer Service. From the first step out of my vehicle, and it being promptly valeted, to checking out and the Front Desk kindly offering to hold our bags or load into our cars for us. Simply remarkable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Reading the history of the hotel and all of the reclaimed and repurposed features was inspiring. Fabulous atmosphere, top-notch cocktails and the Maple-Pine's dinner was out of this world! The Quirk is doing it right! We were disappointed the rooftop wasn't open yet, but, that just gives us more of a reason to return!
Dirt cheap, great location. If you can afford to not stay here, do so! The neighbors are often druggies who roll smoke into your room through the Attic, tons of people coming and going. Not safe for children you care about.
Staff Dirty room no ammenties
Not much bed wasn't to bad No ESPN no ice maker no Ac in room turn thermostat to cool got hot air sink in bathroom drained slow
Nice hotel. Great front desk worker!
Super convenient location but need to supply better transportation options to the airport No bus service
It was very basic but ok. old tv, no blankets on the bed (had to wear sweat clothes), no carpet.
Front desk and staff were very friendly. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was standard and exactly what you would expect. Hotel had a great location for the price. Great price for business or value travel. The room was still undergoing cleaning upon check in so I'm not sure if they paid attention to their own schedule or not. It made rather inconvenient to move stuff back into the car and then back into the room 10 mins later. Just to find the floor wet from the steam cleaner. It would have been much easier if they had cleaned the room prior to our check in time.
Clean and felt like home
Staff was excellent The elevator didn't work, the toilet paper holder was falling off and the shower rod was loose and hanging down so the shower curtain would not stay shut. Wi-Fi was slow and the TV was not HD
I was most impressed with the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. It is so nice to arrive to a clean room after a long day of travel. The room was also spacious. It is also nice to have a complimentary breakfast, although the quality of the food was not impressive to me.
The pleasant experience with check-in. Too many children running loose in the halls and in the morning breakfast.
Not a lot of people in the hotel No one was working the front desk when we got there. Had to wait 10 minutes before someone showed up. Hallways smelled bad.
I liked everything. Everyone was so friendly and professional and the room was clean and the whole hotel was very nice. Nothing, I loved everything!
