Bed was comfortable
This hotel is in need of a major renovation. Paint peeling off walls, carpets were very dirty. Bath room door wouldn’t shut unless you leaned on them. Light sconces missing. Bathtub lever to turn on shower was broken. Restroom in the bar area was disgusting. I could go on.... Breakfast ran out of many food items 90 minutes before it was supposed to end.
Poor service, terrible hvac, unresolved room issues
Room temp is not controllable using thermostat. Rooms were over 80 degrees with no way to adjust. Front desk said central air is set for the entire hotel. Very uncomfortable to sleep when it is close to freezing outside but 83F in the room. Had to leave a window open to try and cool it off. Both TVs in the suite did not work and flashed a No Signal error. Called the front desk for help 3 times and was promised a repair person who never came. Pool ran out of towels. bathroom tub drain clogged. Stains on sofa. Room door difficult to unlock. Side door to lobby did not unlock with keycard. We stay at several Embassy’s in the Orange County area throughout the year but this property on Dyer is the worst. They recently remodeled the atrium, but the rooms are in terrible shape.
Everything was great, service was fantastic and our room was clean and very nice!
Everything was 5 stars! Thank you for everything Embassy!
Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast--thos
The suites are spacious and lovely; the breakfasts and happy hours, a wonderful feature.
The heating/ac system is inadequate: although it was chilly at night, the system was not set to provide heat. The staff provided a space heater, but... not what I'd expect from a fine hotel.
Friendliness of staff , very comfortable and the hospitality wa above and beyond.
$15 per night parking
Met my expectations
The size of the room was great, the location was easily accessible to the freeway, the complimentary breakfast was gteat, the cocktail hour was nice just maybe needed a better selection of alchohol.
The public area could have been cleaner, room service trays would stay in the hallways all day, the elevators were in desperate need of vacuuming. The front desk staff could have been more friendly, upbeat, and helpful. We had a small issue the night before check out, my car battery died. I figured security could give up a jump in the morning ingredients when we checked out. Upon check out I asked if they could and the front desk agent saI'd no, we asked why and the answer was simply we can't. She suggested maybe we ask the valet, so we did and he said no. They had their shuttle vehicle, a big SUV, just sitting up front, I asked if they could use that, the answer was still no. Unfortunately they seemed to be okay with us being stranded in their parking lot. They were zero help, along with the fact they just didn't care.
A truly good hot breakfast.
The maids didn't clean/tidy our room for the second nights stay. Also, the pillows are awful. The front desk offered a foam pillow, but it was never delivered! One of the two TVs didn't work correctly and maintenance guy said other rooms were problematic too. The wifi was slow most of the time. Lastly, having to pay $15 per night for parking is ridiculous. I did however get that waived because of all the mentioned room issues.
Great Stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana O
Quick check in. Very clean room.Close to all our activities. 12 min to Disneyland,17 min to Laguna Beach. 5 min to Airport. Very good parking. Well lit grounds. Overall Great stay.
Staff seemed very neutral.
mediocre breakfast however great made to order omelets. All come with your stay which is worth the hotel in itself.
Coctail hour and made to order breakfast was a great way to start and end the day
The climate control for the room is based on the season and weather. It didnt get cold enough for my liking. No real complaint though
The Front Office Director is the worst ever
The Front Office Director is the worst ever, exactly the one who was Duty Manager on 5/23/2015. He is mean to the guests and does everything he can to NOT help them. I would have rated this hotel as average if it was not of this individual who ruined my day with my family.
