Pros. The breakfast is always fantastic at the Sedona Real. I like the location, just out of town so you can avoid all of the traffic. The staff is great.
Cons. There was a slight mixup when we checked in. We requested a king bed but were assigned two queens. It was corrected once we made them aware of it. The only complaint I had was the air conditioning. Whenever the blower turned on, it was excessively loud.
Pros. We stayed in the Royal suite so it was spacious. Bed was comfortable & towels were very plush & soft. Breakfast was okay, coffee was excellent.
Cons. Perhaps the hotel can provide hot chocolate for those who don’t drink coffee or tea.
Pros. The king suite was beautiful! Everything looked updated, new, and beautiful! I liked having a separate seating area with two TVs. The DVD player with each TV was an unexpected feature along with DVDs for rent. The sofa and chair were comfortable. There was adequate lighting in the room and robes were provided for our use. The desk clerk at checkout was quite friendly and professional. Outside property had a few water features and landscaping that were beautiful. Alarm clock in the room had a USB port for charging and there was a universal phone charger in the room, which was a cool feature. The view from outside the hotel was beautiful.
Cons. When checking in, the desk clerk seemed strangely put off by the fact that I'd booked through a 3rd party website. I traveled with my partner and 10-yo daughter and got the impression that when the information transmitted, it didn't clarify that we were two adults and one child. So he hinted strongly at me violating policy by having 3 adults in the room and warned that if I was found violating the policy, there would be an additional charge. Same for an "undocumented" pet. I assured him I had no pets and 1 child and he seemed ok to let it go. The first thing to go wrong in the room was when I discovered the hand towel I'd dried my hands on had what appeared to be makeup on it and a long black hair. No one in my party wears makeup or has black hair. This was disconcerting considering the towel had been folded up neatly on the vanity counter. The bed was too firm and 5 or 6 emergency vehicles passing by outside the room at 10:30 at night woke me as it sounded like they were in the room - the room's windows were closed. It was quite honestly the worst night's sleep I've had in awhile as I woke up every couple hours. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. It took me twice as long to rinse as it would have at home. I found it interesting that at checkout, the desk clerk told me that repeat customers received 15% off. After the night's sleep I had, I felt like it was a bribe to encourage people to return. I was truly disappointed because I splurged on this room, paying twice as much as I normally would, to treat my family to a suite and pretty much ended up with the same issues we suffer at a Motel 6. :(
Pros. great staff !
Cons. No dedicated bike storage area, which is peculiar for a place that markets and caters to mountain bikers.
Cons. Home made breakfast was very delicious. Workers are very nice. It was good trip. Thank you
Pros. My room was very large. It had a gas fireplace which would be great in cold weather. The room was clean and well appointed, with a comfortable balcony.
Cons. Two things I didn’t like: the reading lamps were equipped with under-powered bulbs too dim for comfortable reading and, because of the positioning of the building, a lot of noise from road traffic on the balcony which, mercifully was muffled, when the door was closed.
Cons. VERY noisy. The room pictured was not the room we were given. Staff was less than friendly.
Pros. Very comfortable and good value
Cons. Would have liked a desk lamp in the room, air conditioner noisy when it runs.
Pros. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Pros. Very comfortable. Convenient location. Good value.
