Just Another Rental
Pros: I was given a free upgrade as they didn't have my small car ready and it was quite nice. The attendant who brought out the car also made sure I documented the vehicle damage prior to leaving just to be thorough which was appreciated. The staff was overall pleasant.
Cons: The security deposit if you didn't select their coverage was quite high, abnormal of what it is in the States, but understandable when dealing with foreign customers I guess. Also, the wait time for service was quite lengthy and then there was an additional wait while they found a car for me.

Cons: Took over an hour an a half to get the car, even though the rental office was not busy. They first gave us a damaged car that was unsafe to drive and we had to ask them to give us a new one without damage.... over 90 minutes later. Very inexperienced. Upon return, we were the 5th group of people that they were fighting with stating that all 5 groups had damage to their respective cars. I have never seen anything like it. I tried speaking with the manager about the "damage" however he was rude and unprofessional. He yelled at me in front of customers and walked away from the conversation, refusing to speak with me further. DO NOT BOOK with this company - they are not worth the price. They try to scam you with the insurance that will not cover anything and will fight you on everything upon return.

Cons: Please do not work with these folks - they have a million hidden fees, and I was unable to even pick up my car after pre-paying because of their $1,000 deposit which is not disclosed. THE WORST. I was stuck at the airport for hours and missed my appointment at the blue lagoon.

Aweful, so dissapointed
Cons: I was searching for a rental at the airport, and it turned out it was in Reykjavik, which was an hour away, with no transportation options. Also, they dis not include unlimited miles. We ended up paying and not using it at all (we couldn't cancel by the time we accidentally discovered this). As a long time Kayak customer, I am so dissapointed by the poor search results I was provided with. I am not sure I will be using Kayak search engine again, let alone Sixt as a rental choice.
