Pros:Great car, good conditions. Easy pick up
Cons:Extra costs for everything Very bad attitude at drop off: instructions said clearly were to drop off the car, and there we went to find just a phone. When we called they were very rude telling us to read well the instructions (according to them they said another location for drop off. But now, the paper said the place we first went to). City was shut up for a marathon so we could not go to the second location, and they didn't know anything about it. They were just rude, and insisted that they could not do anything. Luckily we found a nice person finally at the reception.
Cons:I will NEVER EVER rent from a car from SIXT again. They are a money hungry and deceiving rental car company. When I was picking up my rental car, they charged me extra for "modifying" my reservation which I did not do/nor could they prove. I even showed them my original confirmation email. In our reservation, there was no mention of a deposit whatsoever. They informed us of a 2000 euro deposit deposit because I was using a third party insurance. It was more than the rental itself! Because of this, the SIXT representative informed me of the multiple car insurance options through their services and told me different prices each time. In the end, the whole process of picking up the car was very difficult. By far, one of the worst customer experiences in my life.

Dropped our car off in the pouring rain and Karoline went out of her way to drive us to the terminal instead of having to wait for the shuttle bus! Highly recommend.
Pros:Sixt in Keflavik was open at 5am and service was very quick
Cons:Staff missing for pickup. Took us a lot of time to get the Carr.
Pros:2nd time hired from Sixt; first in Sicily, and this in Iceland. Car was as expected, and the deal good generally. Staff accepted the extra insurance I bought off the 'web', and checked it was sufficient

Pros:Staff were very friendly and programmed a SatNav with all the best spots to drive to. The day was seamless and it was all thanks to them!
Pros:Well-functioning car. Check out and check in were smooth and fast.
Cons:An hour waiting time at arrival. Staff did not ask for feedback at all, the car was not as expected a similar model of suzuki, very low for a SUV. They did sell us the full tank service, saying it was cheaper, we believed it and payed at the start before realising it was actually more expensive, we tried to get refunded and bring the car with full tank but staff refused. Very disapointing.
