The agent who helped us was great. Very pleasant, competent and helpful woman. She answered all of our questions, and she and another agent even packed our luggage into the back of the car and got us on our way quickly. I’d give her 5 stars!
Pros:Pickup was fairly fast compared to previous experiences.
Pros:Everyone was very friendly, courteous and professional. Would rent from Sixt again.
Pros:Pick up @ airport in Porto was easy and efficient. Car was in good shape and service courteous. Drop off was painless too *except finding the facilty.......
Cons:We did our drop off at airport in Lisbon, instructions on where the drop off facility is located is very poor. This could easily be improved.
Cons:Long wait at counter. Aggressive selling of ‘necessary’ add ons. Tried to give us smart car stating it was ‘equivalent’ to what we ordered - it was not. Forced to upgrade to larger car when luggage didn’t fit in smart car. Long wait for car. Then when we returned it, they all of a sudden found very small scratch on rims and charged us for it. That scratch was most certainly not us, but seeing as we didn’t see the tiny mark when we eventually picked up the car we had to pay. All in all, very disappointing and definitely don’t recommend.
Cons:Waited over 90 minutes to pick up the car. No need to be at airport for pick-up as you are shuttled immediately to another location.
Pros:The car was brand new
Cons:Our flight was delayed for ~1 hour on the tarmac and we were unable to contact Sixt at our destination. When we arrived it was 15 minutes past their closing time, so they added a 40 Euro fee to our bill. I didn't see this anywhere in the rental reservation.
Pros:Car was new and clean, friendly and qualified service. As we have insurance over our US credit card and we can decline the local insurance the price is really good.
Cons:Tank was not full.
Pros:The car was great, we got an upgrade with gps and diesel instead and it was good.
Cons:The sales person offered an upgrade if we pay for the full tank with diesel sating that we would use all after telling her where we were planing to go. It turnned up we didn't use even half of the tank and we paid for full.
Show all fees before rental, even when optional. Signage not easy to read for drop off
