Friendly, efficient staff. Outdated hotel. Needs upgrading (new carpets, paint, etc).
Not very much Not clean at all exception the lobby ! They should call this hotel WORST Western.
Staff are nice, breakfast and location good. Plumbing is horrible, carpets are worn, rooms need sprucing up
The breakfast was dissent. Apparently one of the staff said that the pool was close do to cunstruction and it was not true. My two kids were looking forward to go in it.
Last minute accommodation the room and bed were comfortable, air conditioner worked well on a humid day and breakfast was good. Hallways to room need upgrade, utility room doors should be closed
The room was great and overall quite clean. Staff was great. There was one or two people at the desks who could have been a little bit better. The guys who were at the from desk were excellent There was an old pizza and the fridge- that was the only deal breaker aside from the price
Well the staff was very nice clean room The wait for the food for breakfast they needed more staff to feed all the people in a timely way
The one redeeming quality was the kindness of the staff. Professional, and doing a good job of customer service at the front desk despite their meh hotel. I assume it's someone else that is responsible for the poor management of the upkeep. This seems like a very old building. They are renovating which is fine, but they put up yellow caution tape everywhere in a half ass way that makes it look like a crime scene. Not very clean. Shower mat which was glued in place was dirty. There were dead bugs, luckily didn't see any live ones, but there was a general lack of effort throughout the hotel to clean stuff. I thought the price was high already, but the staff told me that I actually got a really good rate. In the end, a little over $100 for a standard room. What a joke. Never going back there.
In desperate need of an update. The staff was incredibly nice but the carpets and bathrooms were old and many things are broken or not up to date. "Non smoking" but guests and staff smoke right outside the front lobby door. I wouldn't stay here again.
Room was clean and tidy, Really not much else as it was a one night stay. Upon checking out a staff member felt that it was ok to use explicit language in front of my 3 year old child.
I really liked the restaurant, convenient and good selection. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. The rooms and entry to rooms were dark.
Had to travel to Albany for business. The hotel was located a reasonable distance (w/in 10 minutes) of everywhere I needed to go. Ample free parking, solid WiFi. They were mid-renovation, but they did a fine job minimizing the impact on customers. Staff especially were a big part of that effort, and were all courteous and responsive. All-in-all, would gladly stay again.
Front Desk people should be more courteous.
Location was good near highway It was dark and dirty . There were obvious prostitutes in and out and the hallways were disgust ion and reeked of smoking even in non smoking area .
A man walked into our room with his own key card. Apparently, the incompetent staff gave him the same room after we had already been there for 6+ hours. We were given a new room that night. The next morning, I asked them to check our old room to see if we had left a bottle of shampoo. The staff member went to our NEW room and told my partner she was not supposed to be there. My partnered yelled at her and said that they had put her in this room because someone walked into our original room. The staff member then said, "oh sorry" and walked away instead of engaging with my partner and explaining to her that she meant to go to our old room. The staff member, when she came back down to me at the front desk, told me she went to the wrong room but didn't tell me about the encounter with my partner. My partner told me when I got back to our room and I got upset. So I called and asked why she told her she was in the wrong room. The staff member said she didn't recognize her voice as the person who was on the phone with her?! At this point, I was tired of the incompetence and confusion, so I demanded something be done to rectify our frustrations. The staff member said she'd reach out to the manager to see what could be done, and would call me back. She never called me back. I went to the front desk again hours later to ask if she heard from the manager. I told my partner to just go to the room while I deal with it. My partner came back after 3 minutes because her card key didn't work. The staff member said she didn't hear back from the manager, and instead just gave us two free drinks at the bar and a free appetizer for our troubles. While this entire experience pretty terrible, the only credit I'll give is for the staff member who took it upon herself to do SOMETHING even though her manager was MIA. I appreciated the effort. That aside, incompetence permeates this place. I would never recommend going... at least not at this location.
Location was ok. The bathroom was filthy with hair all over the floor and shower. Hallways were dirty with bags of soiled linens along the wall still at 5pm. Room had a peculiar odor. Booked a king size room-got 2 double. I will not stay here again.
Price, until we got there cracked ceiling tiles, chipping paint, out of order ice machines, rust on some bathroom fixtures, etc.
Proximity to the major highway with easy access to downtown Albany
Cute room, lovely sheets, kind staff, large breakfast selection They do have signs up "pardon the renovation mess" but the first room I was given smelled strongly of damp and mustiness. The staff quickly gave us another room without a hassle, it smelled much better but in the morning plaster had fallen off the window and ceiling.
not much bad neighborhood, dirty hotel, in need of repair, room was non smoking and smelled like smoke, toilet didn't flush, I would not go back. Ramada should take their name off this hotel.
The room was clean. However, the lock on our door did not work, so we were moved to another room. The lock on our second door barely worked. The staff seemed apathetic. The plumbing was very, very slow. We have stayed here many times in the past with good result. Overall, we had a disappointing stay this time.
No hot water in first room and no control of heat in second room.
Comfortable room, breakfast in luxurious dining room, friendly helpful staff, easy to find location near interstate. Pool not accessible for challenged seniors, business center problems, location not near areas of interest
The bed was comfortable, I guess. The toilet wouldn't flush, the shower was mediocre, the track to the window was FILTHY, the TV in the eating area for breakfast was loud and obnoxious, there was no outlet near the bed to plug in a phone or computer, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, etc. It was really kind of gross and I would not go back to that Ramada again. I couldn't wait to leave. I have had much better rooms for cheaper.
the room was comfortable and clean. the staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was good. there was a terrible smell in the hallway near our room, which thankfully did not extend inside. We were unable to get extra blankets. Bathroom door would not close properly or lock. Pool areal was way too cold. Seems like the whole place is due for renovation
The sign out front was not light up and it was dark. We drove by several times. We told the guy at the front desk and he said I know it comes on at 6:30.
Low rates, location Older hotel, decent condition
Comfortable hotel not as clean as could be. Sjower had been sprayed to be cleaned but I have seen much worse though. Also ordered a salad from their restaurant and the carrots were slimy.
Friendliness of the staff Temperature of the room, cleanliness of the carpet, bathroom needs updating.
Great value. Offered extended parking and a complimentary airport shuttle. complimentary breakfast. One of the front staff members was curt. The love was nice but the rest of the hotel needs to be updated. We were looking forward to the pool area but could only use it briefly because it was so cold! There are multiple cracks and open seams in the glass dome roof which allowed in water and cold air!
Staff was friendly. After checking in at 5:00pm I found my room door wide open, garbage in the corner of the room, and no sheets on the bed. The staff quickly gave me another room, but that rooms was lacking. It did not seem all that clean and one of the electrical wall sockets had been pulled out of the wall. I think there are better lodging options in the area.
Breakfast Receptionist was very friendly and helpful Lobby looks very nice after renovations Average hotel. Faucet in bathtub was leaking. A few pillow cases were a little dirty. Very humid in room when first got it. A/C took care of it.
Initial room assignment did not work as key would not take. Looong walk to front desk pulling luggage to learn that the room was out of order and should not have been assigned. Got second room next door to initial room which was a loooong walk back. Hotel is so-so at best. Don't expect much.
Liked all the staffs, they were very helpful and supportive Complement break fast was too good Shuttle service is another plus Perfect for people coming on Business trip ATM, Pool, Coffee maker in room etc., Nothing specific, but a suggestion to have a small Kitchen in the rooms. Also some indoor games like Table Tennis, Pool etc.,
Location, good breakfast and breakfast takeaway. Good staff, nice restaurant. One of only two good downtown hotels. Entrance to restaurant: seems dark and uninviting, actually i thought it was closed from outside.
The night we stayed wasn't very busy, so we were upgraded from a 2 Queen Standard to a 2 Queen Suite for no additional cost. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and free breakfast was substantial.
Close to great bars and restaurants I thought the parking fee was included, it is not. But it's only $15 , so no big deal .
Needed a place to accommodate family for Thanksgiving week. The rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly, the lounge and restaurant were great, and breakfast was delicious. Plus they cleared the snow off our car in valet.
We were attending a show at the Palace Theatre and the hotel was conveniently close by. The hotel was nice, clean, and provided a good selection at the complimentary breakfast. Pay for parking
Location - close to the 'downtown' area where some restaurants were actually open at 9 pm - Albany is a sleepy town...four downhill blocks from the egg, conference center and capitol - OK to walk around no pool, web site incorrectly states no parking fee, whereas the 15 USD are un-avoidable, standard breakfast, expensive per night, even during the week, overpriced to cater to the business folks...
Excellent service by front desk staff, particularly Steve, who went out of his way to be of assistance. Made the stay more than a chain hotel even None
The Hampton Inn facility and staff was excellent When I showed up the hotel did not have my reservation as it was never forwarded by the booking company. The hotel and all others around downtown were sold out. No other suitable options could be found and I was left to find a hotel several miles away on my own. A very poor experience with Kayak and hotels.com
Ideal location for seeing a show at The Palace. Valet guys and front desk were super friendly and accomodating. A+
Extremely easy to get to off the highway. As soon as we entered the lobby we were impressed with the hotel. It was fairly luxurious compared to anything we had seen in this modest price range. There were two very rapid moving elevators, a beautiful room with only one drawback. The room temperature was set at 66 when we walked in, and it took a while to get the heat up to 72, which was as high as we got it to go, despite setting it at 75. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices as expected, including fresh fruit, make your own waffles, hot sausages, omelettes and home fries. Many cereals and other fare. The staff was excellent, calling into our room after a short time to see how we were doing. I would DEFINITELY stay there again should the need to go to Albany arise. The typical wall unit for a/c and heat found in virtually all hotels these days took its time to warm up the room.
The staff are friendly and make me feel like home. The food at the hotel was better than expectations. The hotel smells like a nursing home and the shower is not that great.
Spaciousness and cleanliness of the room, comfort of the beds, very good food and service in the dining room, variety if selections on the menu, complimentary use of computer, monitor, and keyboard in business center, convenient location for travel in the Albany and outlying area. No bad marks.
Overall, the staff was friendly and the services were great. I was staying at the hotel for the sole reason of taking the Bar exam. While the place was beautiful and the staff very pleasant, there was one major flaw. I stayed in room 351 and the room was repressively hot. No matter how far down we turned the thermostat, it would not get any cooler and the air coming from the vent felt the same (read: warm) no matter if the thermostat was on 60 or 75. I don't like to complain, but it was very disappointing.
We liked the location of the hotel. We did not care for the way that you had to reach the lobby from our fourth floor room. It was very convoluted and out of the way.
I was there for the bar exam. I liked the fact that the hotel staff was genuinely concerned that our stay would be comfortable in order to take the exam. In other words, they took it seriously. I used the restaurant, room service and dealt with the front desk. They were fantastic. One night my air conditioner started to make noise and the maintenance guys were there in less than 5 minutes and corrected the problem immediately. Very professional staff and if I am ever in Albany again, I will definitely stay at the Desmond. Not a bad thing to say...
Comfortable rooms, nice amenities (pools + hot tub, gym facilities), and an excellent effort by staff to provide concierge, airport shuttle, etc services Room service was sloppy. (two mornings in a row, no toast was delivered with breakfast, and the wrong charge was listed on one room service order.)
The interior courtyard was charming, The staff behind the desk were very helpful and polite. Food in the dining room was delicious.
The layout of the center court and swimming area. Privacy.
Simpsons...our attendance at two philadelphia orchconcerts the trak...the pools and workout room All was lovely and I hope to be back fro some r & r in the fall.....looking for specials whenever u care to send them..thank you
I loved it, very quaint, quiet, romantic, little on the pricey side though, most people in our convention there stayed somewhere else because of cost.
The staff were pleasant. The towers were far from the pool and although there was an indoor walkway, it was a bitter cold walk. There was no info in the room for hotel amenities, channel listings or nearby attractions.
Very friendly staff. Clogged shower drain that couldn't be repaired. Nothing like standing in dirty water when you're trying to shave your legs after a weekend of camping....
The bed was pretty comfortable The layout of the hotel is extremely weird. Carpeting was dingy.
What a joke of a hotel. Horrible service. Horrible stay. We'll never go back.
An inattentive staff, filthy shower, no fitted sheet on bed, food on floor.
My wife and I stayed with our 3-month old baby one night in the middle of a long road trip. Location is excellent- close to the airport and many restaurants (and Tesla Supercharger, the reason we chose this hotel). Everything was clean and quiet. Favorite part? The shuttle driver was friendly, and dropped us off at our the Tesla Supercharger where I'd plugged in our car earlier that morning before check out. I anticipate we'll take a similar route for this trip and look forward to staying again.
Too long a walk from the reception to the tower
Convenient location, but never going back here. Complete waste of money. We were going there for the pool, which my girls refused to use based on the cleanliness and huge crowd. The bathroom was filthy and infested with bugs coming through the tiles in the floor. The pool was so packed and was extremely noisy in our interior room. Very disappointed.
Lacked nothing except free breakfast.
Convenient location, modern. Funky smell in bathroom (maybe in the curtain) no fan in bathroom, night clerk not friendly, breakfast not included in the rate.
Convenient to airport; clean (could have used a new shower curtain); friendly staff. Heating unit in room was EXTREMELY noisy; uncomfortable bed; drunk hotel staffer sitting at the bar hitting on my husband.
Very easy check in process and very affordable.
Staff were great - very friendly and efficient. Foyer was very nice and the bar was super cosy. Great cocktail in bar. Didn't realize there was room service as no menu in the room but on day two I found out there was and had a great meal deliverered. Rooms are a bit old and musty - could do with a revamp. The a/c in rooms was SO loud. Gym is very small and just off the main foyer so people popping heads in a fair amount.
Great facility. clean, new and convenient.
Clean, friendly staff First time we had great beds. Our second stay, a few weeks later, the beds were pretty bad, very uncomfortable.
The room was nice, big and clean There was no parking after we came back from a concert . Also the wait time for the breakfast was insane the breakfast was a bit mediocre the potato were not cook well enough.
Normally, i am a Holiday Inn fanatic, but my stay with Hilton was over the top fantastic. Everything was perfect, breakfast, the rooms, the bed, and even the shampoo and conditioner. I was shocked to learn that they used Neutrogena products. Pretty cool. The shower was annoying, it kept changing from raging hot to lukewarm on it's own. Not because i was using all the hot water, it was a back and forth thing. That was the only problem. Staff was super friendly, and it was extremely close to University of Albany which was where i was headed the next day. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
The location was good The room was dusty, the sheets were scratchy, the furniture was old and ratty. Definitely about $100 more then it was worth.
Location was very convenient, room was clean. The combination of hot nights, noisy A/C and proximity to noisy highway made for an restless night.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they were very willing to answer my (extensive) questions about the area. My room was very clean. The breakfast was a bit pricey.
What I enjoy about staying at the Hilton is the atmosphere and presentation of the hotel. Everyone is professional and the rooms are always well maintained. Nothing negative to review. Everything was perfect
IK can't complain about any aspect!
Location and comfortable Price lol, they were doing construction at the time
The room was nice but the bed seemed smaller than a standard king. The breakfast was not very good at all, and swarmed by fruit flies. The hotel is under construction which is fine, but less than ideal.
Loved the inside of the place and the location.
Loved the big bed, huge tub and the fireplace. The location was convenient for all downtown activities including the Times Union Center. It was being updated during our stay but it really wasn't a big deal.
Good location. Close to restaurants. Friendly staff. The rooms have been updated and are quite comfortable. The hotel room have all been renovated but the lobby area is still under renovation which really isn`t a big deal if you don`t mind dust. The rooms could use grab bars in the shower and an extra night stand on both sides of the bed.
Great spot in albany, only 1/2 mile walk to the palace, plenty of great spots to eat & historic buildings to explore. Room was updated & very clean. Bed was super comfortable & even though hotel fully booked, I didn't hear a thing all night. Staff super friendly, cookies & tea/coffe in lobby & water & snacks given on check in. Some parking out front or convenient valet. I will definitely stay at 74 state anything in albany.
Comfort of bedding. Accommodating staff Looks ready to close. No amenities stated on website are any longer available. Restaurant closed down in January as did the lounge. My son said he felt like we were in an abandoned haunted hotel
The staff were perhaps the nicest people I have met in hotel hospitality in a long time. Everyone....and I mean everyone (doorman, check in gal, breakfast hostess, check out guy) was happy and helpful. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, that was not a problem. I was given a "goodie" bag upon arrival with bottled water, Oreo cookies and potato chips. There were also large cookies available and I was told that snacks and desserts would be available later in the evening. The complimentary breakfast was perfect: eggs, sausage, waffle station, whole fruit, fruit salad, cold cereals, yogurts, all kinds of bagels and breads. Also a perfect location for the Capital Rep Theatre.
The room was nice and cozy. The breakfast was horrible, sorry to say, the egg omelets tasted fake and the home fries were absolutely disgusting, I think I'll stick with bagels and cream cheese if I go back.
Great value for the deeply discounted price through Kayak. My late check-in at 1:30 a.m. was fast and smooth. I was able to park near a side entrance. The kitchen was more than adequate. The sitting area was good. Comfortable queen size mattresses. Plenty of hot water, etc. Would stay here again next year. The complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet food was a bit hit and miss but overall o.k. The eggs were over- cooked on the first day of my stay and the romaine lettuce was not the best though the salad dressing was tasty. The coffee was good and the orange juice was just the way I like it.
Kitchen, separate bedroom Dated and not super clean
Large spacious room with a kitchen and sofa bed. The size of the room is good for family with 3-4 kids. The staff is friendly. Very old and does not feel clean. Smell once you walk into the hallway where rooms are. I think it is over priced for what it offer. I have been a lot of 2 stars hotel around east coast on this trip, none of the experience I had like this one. It is not expensive but I don't think it deserves the price (special discount offer, 2 beds room with a sofa bed, $132 inc tax). It has the most *surprise* front desk I have seen for a 3 stars hotel: just a simple counter desk with a computer, the staff does not look professional.
The room was clean and I found the layout of the room nice for a solo traveler. It was a very nice stay, especially considering the value. I was also pleasantly surprised to have housekeeping come everyday. The bedding could be upgraded and the light posts outside made it impossible to sleep with the curtains open. And the breakfast could be better.
The suite was wonderful. It was a small apartment with all the conveniences. The living room was separate from the bedroom. If the tv was on in the living room, it could not be heard in the bedroom. Great for people who have different bed times.
walking distance from megabus stop from nyc. spacious room
The cleaning people did a great job and should be rewarded. Pay them more. DO IT
The room has a fully working kitchen, comfortable bed and a large enough space for a family to stay
Rooms clean and spacious, Nice clean bathroom and tub. Was promised airport shuttle service to and from airport. Received wrong information and times it was available. I had to take a taxicab. Very disappointing glad I called numerous times or I would have missed my flight.
We were in a renovated room, which was spacious and very clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The lobby had free coffee! The location of Cresthill is also close to so much: Dunkin Donuts walking distance, and by car you have whole foods, trader joe's, and restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. Also, the kitchen was amazing! The king size bed was extremely comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay. Pool was closed unexpectedly. They don't provide enough towels, but you can always ask for more. Other than that, it was quite a perfect weekend away!
Good hvac system and nice breakfast. Sleeper sofa is way too small and only good for one child. There weren't enough pillows and no additional were available when requested.
I came to this hotel after a bad expreince in previous hotel where I had to cancel my stay. Compared to the previous one, this was a luxery hotel. The hotel staff is polite and you don't feel pushed out even at the end of the stay. Breakfast was decent and family oriented. A bit expensive
Hotel was very clean and neat The cost was a little high
It will exeed you expectation from the begening very very goooood hotel to stay in. Every thing was perfect.
fresh, up-to-date room, great comforters, nice bath, friendly staff breakfast was just okay
It was close to what I had to do and convenient.
Convenient location off highway. Near many restaurants & mall. Staff was extremely friendly. Would definately stay there again.
Great stay and extremely reasonable price
Front fest staff were excellent. Made quick adjustments to accommodate our needs each time. Do not book via Expedia or hotels.com. The hotel were not given my updated travel dates. Spent 2 hours " fixing that"
The room was comfortably heated despite cold weather and had the appropriate amenities for a one night stay for business There was a check in error where someone else was in my room, which was little disconcerting; however staff checked the room so I did not have to.
Easy freeway access Worn carpet. Water damage.
Well appointed, clean, quiet, room with a very comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very convenient. No airplane noise for being so close to airport!
Well I was held prisoner by the hospital another night... So back to the Hilton Garden Inn for my wife. Once again great stay.
The staff was amazing and the hotel was very clean and beautiful. USB ports on the lamps instead of regular outlets.
I booked the hotel because it was in fairly close proximity to a concert we were going to and because I like the beds at HGI. I didn't realize this was a hotel geared to the medical center. We didn't request a handicapped bathroom , but we got one. The entire room was the shower and there was no way to keep the water from spreading all over the floor (very poorly designed). The beds were okay but not as comfortable as I expected and the parking was a hassle.
Being my husband was in the hospital, the location was great. Nice place, nice staff.
It was close to restaurants and museums. I was there for a conference and it was nice to have a variety of dining choices right nearby. The hotel was clean, quiet and all-around satisfactory. Parking was a bit limited. I always managed to find a spot but it was often the last one. In the morning I noticed some desperately parked cars on curbs or nearly blocking an exit.
Close to everything Friendly staff Nice rooms The bed seemed smaller than a king size.
The people at the desk and in the restaurants could not have been nicer and more helpful. This is a beautiful property with an excellent location.n The breakfast was excellent! Nothing, we loved everything!
Angel Silva was extremely nice at the desk and was very welcoming! Location and parking
The room was very clean and comfortable as was the fitness center. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we complained about the noisy guests. Apparently the hotel fronts for a college dorm room, there were several visiting college hockey teams in the hotel for games with the many local colleges in the area. Kept us up all night with yelling and running in the halls. Even after calls to the front desk it continued. When I requested the name of the college that was on my floor so I could notify their athletic director I was told they couldn't tell me.
Very clean, friendly staff, good location for the purpose I needed it for. The mattresses in the double queen room kept both me and my mother from sleeping both nights of our stay. Also wish that breakfast was included.
Nice staff, useful gym, connected to Starbucks and a good bar Shower handle was broken and had poor water pressure. coffee machine was broken, too.
Front desk she was very nice
The room was very neat and clean.
Sense of security, very easy access to dining and highway, Wi-Fi availability and comfortable appointments. Desk staff was very helpful, courteous and efficient. It's an older, renovated motel and has a small bathroom. Towels are small, but adequate, attributable to the "green" approach to laundry.
Convenient to airport.
Best hotel in the price range. This was a clean room, comfortable beds, the basics, no extras but the price is right. No coffee pot but we brought our own with our favorite Starbucks. Next time we are going to bring a small microwave and ice chest for creamer. Nice location near airport and many, many stores and restaurants. 10 minutes from the Walmart on Fuller/Washington extension. 15-20 minutes from downtown and it's multicultural cuisine. Make sure to feed the meters when downtown! Police are on the ball, we got a ticket at 2:19, went to insert more quarters at 2:20. As long as you understand that you are getting a basic, clean but no-frills hotel room for a great price, you should be good to go. If you want all of the extras, I understand that they have those too, but we cannot vouch for that.
The staff were all kind and helpful. The room was very nice. I really enjoyed it.
Quick check in, nice shower, comfortable bed No drapes on windows - just blinds. Sun came streaming in at 6:30 am. TV remote did not work.
Clean and modern and big room. Would book again The AC was to loud!!! They should fix it
The staff was very friendly. Room and the hotel were very clean and well maintained. It looks like it was newly renovated. Free Wifi. NA
The overall hotel was very clean and very nice. The staff were friendly and proficient. The room needed maintenance. The bathtub spigot was broken. Breakfast was expensive. There could have been a free option.
BREAKFAST BUFFET HAD EGGS, BACON AND SAUSAGE AND THAT WAS ABOUT IT. NOT MUCH VARIETY FOR $12. I ORDERED ROOM SERVICE AND IT WAS OK. THE CHICKEN SOUP WAS REALLY BAD. ALMOST ALL CELERY. I ORDER ROOM SERVICE ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND WHEN I LEFT ON SUNDAY MORNING, MY DISHES WERE STILL IN THE ROOM. ONLY HAD MY ROOM CLEANED ONE TIME. SHOWER WAS VERY NICE. NO SAFE FOR YOUR VALUABLES. ROOM WAS VERY HOT WHEN I ARRIVED BUT DID COOL DOWN. EVERYTIME YOU LEAVE THE ROOM THE AIR CONDITIONER TURNS OFF SO YOU HAVE TO COOL IT DOWN AGAIN WHEN YOU COME BACK. I'M SURE THIS IS GREAT FOR KEEPING THEIR ELECTRIC BILL DOWN BUT IF YOU COME BACK FOR AN HOUR OR SO, IT IS JUST GETTING COOL WHEN YOU LEAVE AGAIN. TRYED TO CHECK OUT ON SUNDAY MORNING BUT THE COMPUTERS WERE DOWN. I HAVEN'T SEEN A BILL YET EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THEY WOULD E-MAIL ME ONE. OVERALL JUST OK AND VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET. ROOMS ARE JUST GENERIC.
Complimentary beverages and cookies in the lobby.
The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.
Very welcoming, beds extremely comfortable, good amenities. Very satisfied. This hotel is typical in that the pool and fitness center are right next door. The chlorine fumes kill the air quality in the fitness center. Air quality elsewhere in the hotel was good.
We stayed at the hotel over the 4th of July weekend, and we were given a room on the upper floor facing the capital, so that we could see the fireworks. The hotel has a nice indoor pool, but because the heat was not working well and the water was pretty cold, our kids spent a lot of time playing in the hot tub (which was warm but not hot). The fireworks were fantastic from the hotel, even with a slightly obstructed view. With our youngest one asleep, it was perfect to be able to stay in the hotel with the older one, who could go right to sleep when it was over. We ordered room service twice, and it was a challenge both times to be understood by the person taking the order. One time we were bounced around on the phone and had to give the order to three different people. There are a variety of fees for room service, including an 18% "service charge" that the menu says is not a gratuity but that comes up on the bill as a gratuity, so it was unclear whether we needed to add an additional tip for the server.
Location was great, nice bar, staff was pleasant. AC was not working well, can't open windows, toilet didn't flush well, not enough luxury for the money spent. I will not go back.
The staff was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was located close to where we needed to go and room service food was wonderful! I did not appreciate how expensive the room was for what it was! The bathroom was the smallest room I have ever seen! And when you pay almost 300$ a night for a room you should not have to 0pay 15$ to park your vehicle! I have stayed at other Hilton's that were much nicer and cheaper!
Front desk staff was not informative about facilities / hotel stay.

A bit dated
Clean, comfortable, and a good location Older hotel. For the money, it's getting dated. Rooms and bathrooms could use a refresh. AND WHY DOES AN UPPER LEVEL HOTEL TRY TO CHARGE FOR WIFI ACCESS THAT THE CHEAPEST FLEA BAG PLACE GUVES AWAY FOR FREE?

Easy access from Wolf Road and close to highway and airport. Staff was super friendly.

Excellent value and very clean. AN excellent property
location near airport, pleasant staff air conditioning not on in fitness center and thermostat in a locked box; called from fitness center and was told by front desk someone would be sent up to check it; no one came and we were there 45 minutes; was a hot day and felt like a sauna
Location Ridiculous there was no free breakfast when every other hotel in town offers it.

The elevators were fast. The wifi is an additional cost. $13-15/per day!!!! I will not stay here again.
This location is fine, decently clean and the one person who mans the front desk from at least 4 to 7 was polite and nice. Problem is there was JUST ONE person there on a busy Saturday evening. I waited 30 minutes in a line that went out the front door to check in. When I asked if this was normal procedure the guy gave me a look that said he was doing all he could do. I felt for the poor guy. It is not his fault. I will not book again in this location until I know they are adequately staffed. I waited 30 minutes in a line that went out the front door to check in.
