Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed and well kept grounds. We will definitely stay here again when in town and would now consider this chain in our travels. Nothing comes to mind.
The room was large. Staff was friendly. Price was right. Starbucks was next door. And oddly enough, the 1 thing I appreciated the most was the overhang above the parking spots. I arrived in the middle of a downpour, & it helped to stay dry. Nothing.
The facility was older, but was spotlessly clean and neat. Well run, good continental breakfast, and attentive staff. A real bargain for the price.
Front desk lady was friendly, room was clean, overall atmosphere was pleasant, plenty of eating options nearby, and they do have a continental breakfast. Everything was fine.
The hotel was right along the main highway through town and easy accessible. For $55 a night there was also a small continental breakfast included with bagels, muffins, and cereal. Also the room included a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, and a small refrigerator with freezer...don't usually see those in more expensive hotels. The WiFi had terrible connection, and although we couldn't see the dirt, our two year old's feet turned black from walking barefoot in the room!

We didn't expect much, but we were caught off guard when the heater didn't work, the light above the sink was broken, the clock didn't work, and the smoke detector was MISSING off the wall.
Nothing about it. I felt unsafe. It was the only place with per diem rate $83/nightly. The manager was rude. There was no air conditioning. I felt like I was homeless. Horrible conditions. I will never stay there again nor will I ever advise anyone to stay there.
The room was clean. Really frustrated at how difficult is was to connect to wifi and then when connected it didn't even work. We asked management about it and they said to "just keep trying" we stayed for 2 nights and were connected but couldn't view anything, even emails.
overall fair facilities for the town and type. Didn't like the switching of prices at checkin and having to call customer service to honor price. Just honor it.
OK location across street from okay restaurant and harbor. The toilet was loose on the floor and the toilet paper roll holder was falling off the wall. The wifi didn't connect properly. Staff were less than friendly or helpful. Breakfast was marginal.
Very nice room, comfy bed, nice view. Would stay here again. Would ask for a room on the lower end.
The Spindrift is a short walk from the beach and offers nice sunset views. This is an old, shabby motel, badly in need of upgrading. The bedside lamps didn't work and there was no AC, a big problem on a hot summer day. The clerk was surly.
Michael...what can I say? As the owner/manager he is a delight to be around. Full of local knowledge and suggestions. ( like where to dine, see the best sunsets, local attractions, etc. ). I would highly recommend the Spindrift for a clean quiet stay.
The owner was very pleasant. Motel was older but most importantly the room still felt clean. The room was good for the price we paid.
Off the main drag. Non smoking room that reaked of smoke! Dirty!!!
The management was very kind and nice The room was dirty. The walls had dirt on them and it could have used a little paint.
It was under new ownership and there was some updates being done. Beds were comfy, bedding clean and the manager was very helpful. It's close to Harris beach and there is a Dollar General close by. There wasn't a fan in the room. I had to go and purchase one. Chairs were dated/worn...sunken in.
Nothing i got a reservation that was done on over booked, i had no were to stay and ended up staying wherever i could stay. Being from California and not having a place to go to it was a horrible experience.
Price, clean and very friendly staff. No
