All staff we encountered were very welcoming and helpful, especially Meredith and Holly at the Front Desk, Ron at Valet Parking and our cleaning person.
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Casa Monica. It is a great property in an excellent location. The hotel is getting a bit on the rundown side. Our sink faucet sprayed water all over the counter which was a little messy. But the charm and ambiance will make Casa Monica a hotel choice in the future. The hotel bar is very good and well staffed. The food there is great after a long day walking. The rooms are charming and the beds are very comfortable. We were on the 4th floor and the high ceiling and western view over the pool deck was very nice. Staff is first rate and the cleanliness is too notch. I know there are some renovations underway and I think some of the older features are being brought current. Just not a 5 star this time.
Rooms were beautiful and clean.
Pluming was a little bad . Slow draing tub . Low water pressure
Very little. Breakfast, Costly Valet Parking, very small room for $430 / per night, amenities in room similar to Motel 8 hotels. Definitely not a Hilton Hotel model I would be proud of.
very good location foe seeing the sights. The price was reasonable. Could not get to our room because of construction in the hall and rooms on both sides of our room. Power tools and lumber laying across the hall. Dust and dirt everywhere. We asked the woman at the desk when checking in to move us to a different part of the hotel. She said that she would be "happy to cancel our reservation and we could go somewhere else" I asked to speak to a manager and was told that was not possible, the head housekeeper did come out to say that the construction on the room next to us would end at 4PM that day, It did not. Reception, dinning room and bar was closed for renovations. A nearby room was turned into the breakfast room and a temporary reception area was placed in the back, and a portable bar was set up in the evening serving beer and wine. What kind of wine, we asked the server; Red and White. This type of customers service may just keep me from going to a Hilton in the future. Management just didn't care.
The $24 parking + tip was an experience. Never stayed in a handicapped room before since I'm not handicapped. The $15 free continental breakfast + tip was superb.
It was located close to everything we wanted to see. We did not need to use our car. Restaurants, shopping, siteseeing
The hotel is perfectly located in St. augustine right on the seafront. It is right in the middle of the old St. Augustine, so everything can be easily accessed by walking (5 min max). The rooms are clean and nice. WiFi fast and free. There are no views except for seaviews. St Augustine is a very beautiful city and sea view is not the best thing to see outside of a window here.
The Hilton Bayfront is an amazing hotel. The staff was awesome and our room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend it to everyone I know. It's location is absolutely perfect in the heart of the historic district. walking distance to almost everything.
Room and great location Poor breakfast
How fresh and clean the room was and smelled. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing and the double shower head a dream!!! The room had an amazing view of the water and adorable gazebo. It had a cute garden and lots of places to cuddle up or relax. The late chick in at 3 and the early check out at 11, I just wanted to stay forever.
Charming staff,Great location, and just an overall enjoyable experience. no
Very friendly and helpful staff Noise from nearby tour buses

The location to what we wanted to do. Room could have been bigger for the price paid.
This hotel's staff have been extremely friendly, beyond helpful, they offer free continental breakfast, free wi-fi, discounted parking, elevator usage, and the room has that romantic feel. Not a thing.
Clean modern room with large comfortable bed. We did not like the. Tourist Disney quality of the town and HATED that the hotel had no parking and was scared taking out bags out on such a busy intersection. We would not stay there again.
quaint hotel in the heart of everything we wanted to do... parking for hotel guest was over a block away... good thing it was not raining when we were there...
It is located in a perfect spot with walking access to shopping, the fort, and Ripley's. We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again when we return.
The room overlooked the old town shopping area and had great porches and rocking chairs. The staff was very friendly and came right out to unload the car and give us the parking pass for the garage. Our bags were immediately taken to the room.
Open air shopping area was fun. location was perfect near bars, shops, water and the fort. Staying above the chocolate shop was too tempting. Also sugar hyped children ran up and down the steps. Fortunately they crashed early.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location within walking distance of nearly everything. Rooms older. Very clean but very limited. Breakfast minimal more like a snack.
It was right in the beginning of the town village. Close to everything an it was cozy. Nope
Comfortable Room Fantastic Location Accommodating Hosts Decent Breakfast Breakfast was not to the standard I would have expected for the price. The room lacked space to store travel bags so they were in the way. Staff was not available for help at 9:00p even when I left a message on their reservation phone number.
The inn was in a perfect location and perfectly kept. But the best of the stay was the perfect hosts who provided the perfect amount of engagement and assistance. Will go back many times in the future for sure. It was all just PERFECT.
We had our wedding reception at Old City House Inn. Juan and his crew were absolutely amazing and exceeded every expectation that we had. The Inn is a beautiful little place with an intimate and luxurious feel. The food is consistently incredible! Every item offered was delicious, perfect temperature, and fresh! Literally everybody who attended made comments that it was by far the "best" food they have had at a wedding. No complaints whatsoever! We are very thankful to Juan and the rest of the staff at Old City House for making our special day so amazing!
Complementary breakfast at a four-star, don't normally see that Nothing
The rooms were very nice. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious. The packages were very nice as well. My only complaint about this hotel is that parking is very limited and we had to park a couple of blocks away.
Loved the location...walking distance to most of sites in area. We love the staff...very helpful on sites to visit. At end of day we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. One night it rained and we sat on the balcony. Nothing to do with the Inn, when walking back at night the road is uneven. Be careful.
This charming Inn is located in an excellent location, only a few blocks from the district, a short walk that takes you thru the real historic St. Augustine. The Inn and its staff are extraordinarily accomodating and exceed expectations on all levels. Everything from sherry on the mantle in our room, an upscale breakfast reserved usually for 5 star Inns, to incredible staff prepared deserts served after you return from dinner out, all at no additional charge. If you are expecting ultra modern this Inn is not for you. If you value serenity, impeccable cleanliness, charm and location you won't be disappointed. The St. Francis is on top of our list for St. Augustine revisit.
We booked a room at the St. Francis Inn for a few reasons - great reviews, great price and it's haunted! (unfortunately, we saw no evidence of any haunting...maybe next time...) We were on a 2nd honeymoon - 1st time away from the kids - and it's an awesome area - a very easy walk to everywhere, great food and great weather. The inn is very nice, it was quiet for us, very clean and the service is awesome! All of our requests (Any de-caf coffee? Could we get a bowl of popcorn? etc...) were handled quickly and with a smile. The staff was very knowledgeable and enjoyed talking with guests. The amenities were great - free breakfast (very good food!), free beverages throughout the day, cookies in the afternoon, appetizers/cocktail hour and desserts later in the evening. Its a good thing its located in a walking city, to help burn off some of the tasty calories they serve! They also have a pool (closed when we were there, though,) a beachhouse to park your car at for a day at the beach, and free/discounted admission to a few attractions. We loved our stay! If a 'con' is required, and the reason for 4 out of 5 stars for the 'room quality', it would be the tv. Just a small set in the room. They DO have current DVDs to borrow and free wi-fi, so that was nice. We didnt watch alot of tv, but we wanted to catch a bit of a football bowl, and it just would have been nicer on a bigger set. We had daily housekeeping, they recycle, and they have a parking lot (I guess that's a rarity with these historical-town inns...it was nice to be off the street!) All in all, if we get back to the area - the St. Francis Inn is where we'll be staying!
