Pros: We like how close it is to the Shakespeare Festival.
Cons: Our beds were too soft.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room nice size rooms staff was very nice breakfast was great both days easy check in and out
Cons: Nothing really except had low head shower head to save water not a lot of pressure
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a great place in a central location. We used it as our jumping off point to go to the Shakespear Festival, LDS Temple, and to go to a star party @ Cedar Breaks National Monument. Breakfast was very good! Plenty of ice for when we did come back at night to sleep. We would stay here again.
Cons: I did not like the showerhead. I do find that low Flo shower heads to be annoying. It takes much longer to shower and get the soap and shampoo off. It is not refreshing and so it is a big fail. I would choose another place to stay if I knew they had a better shower. It makes a difference in how you start your day!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Breakfast choices were great, but food quality was average....not bad but I expected a little better based on the reviews
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is the superstar at this small, friendly hotel. Each morning the staff prepares a fresh, hot breakfast including eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, oatmeal, and make-it-yourself waffles. There is even gluten free bread and waffle batter available for us gluten-sensitive types, which is a BIG plus! The rooms are immaculate, the beds are comfy, the showers work well and the staff is very responsive to the needs of their guests. We have stayed here several times before and we will keep coming back!
Cons: No complaints!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was charming...the house was beautiful...the food delicious and was catered to our allergies.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: It was more than I expected. It felt more like I was visiting someone’s house than staying at a hotel. Donna was such an attentive, warm and friendly host. I was there for the Shakespeare’s festival for the first time. She knew all about the plays and restaurants and filled me in. There was one steakhouse in particular “Milt’s steakhouse” Donna recommended and I wanted to try. It was difficult for us to get in at the time we wanted. Donna offered to make the reservation and was able to work it out for us. Next time I visit Cedar City my first choice will be the iron gate inn. If it is fully booked I trust Donna to make a great recommendation.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a bed and breakfast we’ve stayed at before and highly recommend to everyone. The owner is outstanding, the breakfasts are outstanding, and if you are so inclined, within walking distance of the Shakespeare festival.
Cons: Nothing at all. No complaints what-so-ever.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host was very engaging. Took personal interest to ensure we enjoyed the home as well as the surrounding area. Very much enjoyed breakfast
Cons: Pillows were flat. Shower didn’t drain well.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The overall facility was very clean and the room was also very clean. The owners were very pleasant and we completely enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was definitely good. Though I can't say what the other rooms might have been like, I doubt you could go wrong at all if the same attention is paid to all of the others.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was just right.
Cons: Didn't have time for breakfast. Had to go by 8am and it wasn't served until 8:30am. There was another couple that did the same. Should start the breakfast earlier.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great ...except...see below
Cons: We loved everything about the place except we had a dog with us so we stayed in a pet friendly room . The room appeared to be very clean but the smell of wet dog permeated the room . The smell was soo strong that my husband and I couldn’t even sleep well during the night because the smell was so offensive . Not sure why it had to smell so bad when we have dogs at our house and it never smells . I would never stay there again unless we were actually able to check the room before staying . They really need to work on the smell . Horrible
6.7 Good
Pros: Location When I reported finding 2 bugs in the bed and the odor in the room the staff quickly acted to resolve the issues and offered to move us to another room immediately
Cons: Smelly room and bugs on the bed

Pros: Pet friendly, super clean, pool and hot tub, lots of pillows and comfy beds...delicious breakfast bar! Super friendly staff.
Cons: No free cancellation!
7.5 Good
Pros: Standard HIE experience that we look forward to with one exception.
Cons: Unfortunately we got a room directly over the pool (203) and there was a rowdy crowd in it having a lot of fun. The noise prevented any of my family from sleeping until it closed at 11. I complained to the nice young man at the front desk when it was happening and he offered to ask the parents to get control of their children. I said no but just wanted to let him know of the problem and confirm it closed right at 11. Thankfully it did and we were able to get some sleep. When you check in make sure to avoid the rooms over the pool at least on the second floor. Would stay here again but only at the other end of the building.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was what we need to sleep for the night, clean, comfortable. It met our expectations.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking in may ways but no different from other locations. The needed maintence, when I told the front desk they said, yes we know.

7.9 Good
Pros: I had a King room for my husband and I. The room was a good size for 2 people. The room and bathroom very clean and modern looking. The hotel is new so the lobby and breakfast area were clean and modern. The hotel staff at the front desk were very pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: Plan on going to the breakfast early. We went during the last 30 minutes it was offered during the week. A good portion of the food was missing from the assortment and had not been replenished. We were not the only guests that had this problem finding something to eat. The king sized bed felt lumpy and there was not a variety of hard and soft pillows offered. The ones we had were hard and it would have been nice to have a variety. I've stayed in other La Quintas that are the new model and didn't have any of these problems.

Pros: They were really accommodating when I arrived late. Breakfast was very good!
Cons: None

Pros: The bed was really comfortable. The room was larger than most.
Cons: The small kitchenette was behind the door of the bathroom ...so the bathroom door could knock into a person standing by the microwave. Cons: My coffee pot spout was broken but it worked ok. Room was perfect, affordable and had all the amenities I needed-even used cut up but clean towel for whatever mess I had after attending the parade without using the motels GOOD towels! Smart move Mountain View Inn!!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed and pillows. Easy check in. Quirky decor that improved what is otherwise a pretty dated motel. Pet fee at $10 is a lot less than other motels of similar caliber.
Cons: Unlike other motels in its class, there was no breakfast buffet. Food was brought out after ordering from a limited menu. It was okay, but more choices would have been preferred. The coffee had to be requested and was pretty bad.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok. What I would expect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Inexpensive hotel that is clean. About 15 minutes away from the slopes. Friendly staff!
Cons: The breakfast has much to be desired. Don't count on it to be filling.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just looks like ordinary place from the outside. But rooms are very clean with great linens and towels. The jacuzzi is one of the best I’ve ever used. The staff and owner went out of their way to graciously accommodate my many requests. The full moon was rising behind the mountain when I arrived. Would definitely stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and it was in a perfect location for our event we attended. Parking was very easy.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice size room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: It was a full, hot, fresh breakfast with a wide variety of options. Cold milk with the cereal, Hot oatmeal and waffles, hot eggs and sausage, cold yogurt, a working 4 slot toaster to service more than one person at a time. Oh, TWO waffle irons. Variety of syrups, jams, and condiments. The location was IDEAL traveling north from Southern Utah. I had gotten a flat tire seven miles outside of town, and this place was easy to find, easy to access, and close to the ramp without being too noisy. Beds were clean and comfy, pillows were HEAVEN, the pool was great, and there was AMPLE toiletries for all of us. And lots of fresh towels, too. A safe, microwave, Direct TV with all our favorite channels, and a great fridge. The checkout process was a dream! Beautiful views from the top floor, especially the balcony in the suite. walking distance to Golden Corral and a gas station, with cross walks. Very good location.
Cons: The check-in process was bad; but I don't think that's common. We were given the wrong room 3 times, on the top floor at the end of the building, so I did a LOT of walking with my baggage just to get checked in; my kids were falling apart as I had to go get it fixed each time. There was some strange film or goo residue on the wall in the big bedroom and on the adjoining door (we had a suite) and the other door of the smaller room. it didn't look clean. Also, it has become common in hotels to provide a make-up removal wipe so that women don't get mascara on the nice white towels. There wasn't that option on this occasion. Oh, my kids were VERY disappointed that there was NO hot chocolate available anywhere. Even when we asked the front desk.

Cons: Can't think of anything I didn't like.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: the room smelled horrible! It was definitely NOT a non-smoling room! We didn't get to use the hot tub because about 15-20 guests(?) were drinking bear in glass bottles and took over the area so no one else could use it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed comfy
Cons: Breakfast subpar, machines broken, eggs nasty. Pool not working no indication of that when booking

Pros: Location of facility and location of room were excellent. Breakfasts were good but there could have been a bit more variety -- same eggs and sausage every morning for a week.

Pros: I have been staying here each summer for years. I love the quiet, cozy atmosphere. We sit outside our room and enjoy the calmness. In the morning we sit outside with our coffee. Great place to get away from the busy life.
Cons: The toilet handle was a little tricky in our room.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We needed a place to hunker down for the night before heading to Brian head to ski for the day. This place met our needs. It is old and hasn't been updated but we didn't care. It was clean, inexpensive, and 20 minutes from Brian head. There isn't an ice machine but when we asked about ice the attendant brought two zip lock bags filled with ice to our door.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, large room, comfortable bed, parking close to room, plenty of towels and toiletries.
Cons: I was quite surprised and disappointed that there was no deadbolt or even a chain lock on the door, which made me feel less than safe. The last time I stayed a motel without either if those locks was over 20 years ago in a motel in Williams, AZ. For this reason I will not stay at this motel again.

Pros: Great location just 15 miles downhill from the Cedar Breaks National Monument. Staff are friendly and helpful. Located on a main road in Cedar city the hotel was easy to find.
Cons: The eggs were very machined and the bacon was ... well, it probably once was meat. Room felt a bit cramped.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Convenient location to freeway. Facility appeared new or recently remodeled.
Cons: No elevator. Rather spartan accommodations. Our room was on the second floor with a smoking area just below outside, where 3-5 men were smoking and drinking the next morning for a couple hours. Wasn’t sure it was too safe to load up.
7.0 Good
Cons: Breakfast area unkempt
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and the cleanliness of the room .
Cons: The TV did not function - I arrived around 930 and did not feel like re-packing my stuff. Their onsite restaurant had menus in the room and the hours showed it open until 10 PM, however, when I went in at 9:30 they had just closed. Pet rent is 1

Pros: The hotel is very clean, updated and the staff is excellent! The breakfast at this hotel is the best!!
4.6 Okay
Pros: It easy to find and near to highway
Cons: The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are nothing less than disgusting. The pool has not been cleaned in years, as seen from the depth measures ,which are white under the water line and black above... The Jacuzzi smelt as if someone had urinated in it. The entire Pool area has not been painted or renovated in about 5 years. I had reserved 2 days but left early as I would not risk the health of my children in the pool.

Pros: The Cedar Breaks Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. It’s very close to so many national parks and monuments, so it makes it a nice place to be able to go see the sights without having to stay in an overpriced motel at Bryce Canyon National Park, or Zion National Park. The resort offers tons of activities, both for adults and kids. The room was great — clean, quiet, and comfortable.
Cons: Don’t expect this to be a place that offers everything. There are a couple of general stores around, and a few places to eat, but your options are limited, as well as somewhat pricy.

Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable so I didn’t get much sleep the two nights we were there.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Awesome room. One of the best and I live on the road over 200 days a year. The night staff gentleman at the desk was great and helpful during a disturbing situation as was the maintenance crew.
Cons: I had money stolen by another guest at the pool. I filed a police report and inquired multiple about video review and GM follow up. Still have heard nothing- also horrid internet service, which is frustrating and costly to my business. Shady hidden fees
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were huge , two fireplaces, full fridge, dishwasher, jetted tub
Cons: Parking
