The hotel is brand new, location is amazing, front desk staff is friendly. Our room was spacious and had a very nice view both of the city and the sea. Food was really good but when it gets busy in the morning you have to wait for your coffee for good 15 minutes as you can only order it from the waiters. We spent a night before our wedding in the hotel and needed to have express dry cleaning, we were told that it would be ready next day at 2pm but when we came to give the clothes we were told that it won't be ready until 4 which is too late as we had to leave the hotel around 3 already. We have asked for iron as well and the one given did not work and ironing board was broken. We were offered to have our clothes ironed and we had to pay for it, even though we would expect to have it as a complimentary service as the provided facilities did not work and we were misinformed regarding dry cleaning service as well. Not so many guests usually need these kind of things when they stay in the hotel but the problems we faced using this services were quite an issue in our situation
Great staff. Super nice people. The hotel itself...meh..definitely definitely not five star, perhaps not even four. Tiny room and bed so small I could barely fit. Noise from hallway came into room. I'd say it's a good four star. The bed was tiny, barely fit one person.
I LOVED this hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - they made sure I was settled and attended to my every need. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with really cool design in the rooms - I wish my apartment looked like this! The location was also ideal, especially if you like walking around - it is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Jaffa port and a less than 10 minute walk from the shuk.
Everything was clean and the front desk lady was very nice. Management knows that they have a very noisy room and they still have it available (or maybe there are more?). It sounds like someone is flushing the toilet on you all night. And when you complain about it, and if the hotel is full, the manager will tell you that you can leave the hotel and they won't charge you. After a long fight with the manager (I am sure none in their vacations wants to fight) he agreed to refund 50% (I still think they should have refund 100%). However I am still waiting for that refund.
details are well-thought-out. Room was small but very well-designed and attractive. Very comfortable. I highly recommend the Shenkin Hotel. needed more drawer space, more hangers for clothes
nice room, staff and location a problem with a window that kept opening and construction noises early in the morning from a site near by
Close to cinema, theatre, restaurants , shoping, market...
A small friendly hotel with a ready smile and great personal service and unlike the big Hotels dont charge for every little thing- internet aservice was very reliable and free as was breakfast- my extras for a 10 day stay were $5! No dislikes at all
Hotel staff was very-very friendly. The room was realy comfortable and clean, they changed towels several times a day.The location is exellent. The quality is higher than the price. nothing
Rooms are big. Two TVs, dvd player, big deadsea solt shampoos and body wash, excellent coffee machine at the entrance, hotel free parking place, most of staff speak Russian and English. Not bad breakfasts but no meat or sausages at all (but it common in Israel). There was reconstraction of hotel. Lobby was closed, there was painting of the walls and paint smell. Some rooms were under construction and every day they turned off cold and hot water. Nobody have warned about this and even did not provide drinking water for cleaning teath and washing face in mornings. Moreover every early morning we were waked up by terrible noise of air-operated hammer and drilling of walls in neighbour rooms. It was terrible. I hope the construction will be finished asap. Besides be aware that most rooms face horrible dirty city parking place and ugly building which is also under construction. Ask for city view which face the sea - not the streets and 5 persent of the sea.
The hotel is across the street from the beach (no hotels are actually on the beach) and is is in the heart of Tel Aviv. The hotel itself is nice, if somewhat quirky, with various amenities being tucked away in random locations. I did have a little bit of regret not staying at a hotel with more service offerings (e.g. food and beverage services), but the location and the quality of the accomodations made up for this.
Very comfortable. Moses was really very helpful. could use updating, which you are doing.
Good staff, prompt service, easy to go anywhere Breakfasts without meat
Location, the staff was knowledgeable about the area, clean design of the rooms
location, cleanliness staff no rooms available to extend stay (Guess they are too popular) :-(
Great location, really comfy bed and fab shower Breakfast a bit limited but did the job fine
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, great value, brilliant location, lovely rooms, great original breakfasts, staff just fabulous & helpful. One of nicest stays i've ever had - and that includes a trip to w Hotel, Oahu! Highly recommend this hotel. Guests treated individually, staff so helpful etc. Absoulutely nothing to complain about
Very helpful staff, clean and modern rooms, excellent breakfast, great location.Just sorry we couldn't stay longer! Definitely recommend it to friends.
Location is good. Near to "Kerem Hatemanim" and "Neve Tzedek" area. Service attention was poor and sometime agressive. The promised sea view does not exist. Instead we've got a view to an ugly building on construction. Very poor respect of "shabatt" in the hotel not shabatt elevator and no facility for late room occupancy for Shabatt observants.
proximity to the beach is excellent, as well as many shopping areas and restuarants. no room service, no parking.
Excellent breakffast and served till 11am The room we were alocated was extreemly small and should only be used as a single definately not for 2 men.The roof terrace was not available and no food available only at breakfaast No bar for a drink and the balconies and not suitable for sitting out on.
position for the beach was fantastic.staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable, clean and on the whole it was a good value, enjoyable stay. if you are intrested in shopping/bars its location was also good without being in the thick of it !!
Friendly and helpful staff, free car parking, all new and clean, great terrace on the roof! Not much, but the standard rooms are not very large and personally we prefer to have a toilet separated from the sleeping room
Some of the bartenders, especially Karin and Michelle, were terrific.
Amazing staff, great location, clean, modern Construction next door, will wake you up. Very small rooms.
The people were absolutely lovely, they went out of thier way to help me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible
great value. right downtown. friendly and helpful staff. nice accommodations, clean. our room was a little small but very comfortable.
most friendly and accomodating so that we had a good time and a good stay.
Free WiFi Internet & Breakfast Dust in the room :(
Great attitude. Location, design
The staff is extremely friendly and always try to upgrade me and my girlfriend when we stay a night. The lobby is very cozy and has lots of games and reading material, plus free drinks and snacks. The rooms are extremely trendy and modern, but also comfortable. When visitors come to Tel Aviv this is the first place I send them to stay!
Concierge service was nonpareil! During our week, they provided maps, guided tours, taxis, restaurant reservations -- and even patched up a member of our party who needed first-aid after a minor fall! The cappucino machine was available at all hours (with juice and pastries for breakfast), and an afternoon glass of Lambrusco in the comfortable lobby was most welcome. No complaints at all! Highly recommended on every score!
The staff were very helpful Good breakfast Service a bit patchy in dining room but only had to ask & it was supplied The website gave the wrong address i.e 62 Hayarkon St The address was 2 Ness Ziona and our poor taxi driver went round a couple of times in heavy traffic.Don't worry, I paid him for his extra trouble
The Staff was excellent, absolutely most helpful and gracious. The location was perfect for our purposes. The view was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. The courtesy of a time extension was deeply appreciated by us. The complimentary wine and fruit was a surprise!
The staff were extremely friendly. It was the best part. They claim the hotel to be feng shui hotel but we didnt find anything feng shui about it and also the spa was not available.
Excellent location if you want to be close to the beach. Rooms and showers are extremely small but this is the only negative if any. Once we got over the size of our accommodation, we were very happy with it. All the stuff with one exception were very helpful and all were friendly. Breakfast buffet was sumptious, plentiful and delicious. Will definitely stay there again if I want to be close to the beach. The price reflects its location but not the room size. If it was a bit lower it would be tops!
Great location, friendly helpful staff. Nicely designed inside with own seaview balcony. Amazing varied breakfast even by Israeli standards. Smaller, more intimate hotel. Rooms were a little small.
Great breakfasts (better than any 4 star hotels we have stayed in in Israel freshly prepared and good individual choice of coffee etc, helpful staff, nice terrace and tea, juice and cake on tap all day, Very close to beach and everything else. Our room a bit small but others were larger
location was excellent.room was clean, very small but comfortable breakfast room was pleasant food just ok bathroom
Staff was really helpful, room was very nice (even bigger than i expected given the price of "small room"). Beach is across the street and it is the center of the city. Breakfast was delightful. Perfect location, especially for people that visit Tel Aviv for the first time.
the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful the bedroom and bathroom are quite small- efficient use of space one could say- no tub in the bathroom- small shower stall only. The exterior of the hotel is not too inviting which made us hesitate about staying but once we saw our room, we were okay with our choice.
Super nice place and very kind and helpful staff. Really super value for such a nice place. Even the parking rate for garage downstairs was cheap. Nice free bottle of wine in room too.
Amazing emenities, delicious and lavish breakfast. Excellent customer service, receptionist went way far out of her duties to assist us with whatever we needed
But there we some really great things about the hotel: - the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Owners are there, and are very open for communication - the breakfast is just terrific The total atmosphere is just great, and we do not regret that we stayed there. But be warned that this boutique-hotel can be a bit of a disappointment to the one used to **** comfort We chose the hotel because of the highest rating on booking.com. But indeed we'd rather not rate it as 10%. The reasons are following: - the rooms are really small. Toilet and a bath are not separated. - furnishing is pretentious but poor - windows do not close toughly, it was cold in the night - no parking for guests, and cOncierge failed to explain where to park
