Very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a mid sized suv and on kayak it reserved a kia sorrento or equivalent but when I arrived at the rental there were no options for this. We took a Skoda kamiq which is somewhat smaller but I believe we were charged a mid size suv cost.

The car itself was great, the booking experience and picking up the car was horrible. We had a time slot assigned to us of when to pick up, and we ended up waiting an hour and a half (wasting precious travel time) to get the vehicle. We then were charged extra fees after already paying for the car. I would not recommend this car rental company.

When I booked through Kayak for a car at 10 pm collected at airport, it recorded as 9am from the city depot. Sixt would not change it without rebooting the whole thing at twice the price. Kayak just referred me to Sixt. I had to change my inbound flight to arrive a day earlier at a cost of 400 euro rather than pay Sixt 700 euro more to rebook the car.

Pros:

The car was small ,wich is good on the narrow streets and roads of Ireland!!!

Cons:

The GPS was out of date... the price for the the insurance was a rip off and the gps couldn't find a gas station nearby or the sixt branch where we we're dropping off...

Pros:

Pickup and drop off points were at the best location possible, ''City Center''. The car was very well maintained and every aspect of it was thoroughly checked before it was rented to me. The staffs were very hospitable and helpful.

Would like to have my refund back really. First the reservation was not realised by hertz at the time and had no vehicles available to rent. So had to postpone all activities and lost all reservations due to this - domino effect. Wasted my entire sunday because of the expectation you gave
