Cons: Terribly hard to find the drop-off parking lot.We almost lost our flight because we couldn't find the drop off point. Would it be so hard to put some signs around the airport?..... It was ridicoulous

Cons: Cost of 3rd party insurance.

Beware the nickel and dime company.
Pros: Sixty do everything they can to force you to take overpriced insurance. They are unreasonable and so full of fine print that after 30 mins of trying to understand the fine print, I went to another rental company where everything was easily understandable

Need better directions for drop off
Pros: Maps are unclear, no real address. Google maps takes you to terminal or other facility. Insurance fees are 4x cost of rental. Waited outside in freezing cold at 5:30 am for agent to return car.
Cons: Poor return directions map Waiting in freezing morning air for agent to return car Exorbitant fees for insurance

Pros: Transfer bus driver from terminal to car rental office was very helpful
Cons: The total price of the booking was 40% higher than what I had paid online due to a mandatory insurance that was not included (or mentioned) in the initial price. The booking I made online was for €349 and the total cost was €580. Had the initial online booking outlined a price of €580 I would not have booked with Sixt, so I asked the customer service representative at Dublin Airport to cancel. He said that I could not receive a refund for the initial €349 leaving me with the options of paying an additional €231 or losing €349. Given that it was 3pm on Christmas Eve I paid the additional money. The first car we were brought to had a damaged tire so the Sixt employee who showed us to the car recommended that we get an alternate vehicle. The second car had very visible spit on the passenger seat and on the inside of the passenger window. The tire pressure indicator was on on the third car (an upgrade to a mid-size) but we took it because we were running out of time. The whole process (again, Christmas Eve) took close to two hours.

Cons: Despite being in terminal the rep asked me to get a shuttle to the off airport lot to check in. Forced into buying additional insurance or wait for my credit card company to send notification that I would be covered. Noted as on airport rental but still had to wait for a shuttle.

Cons: I had foot surgery emergency...and unable to drive. Rental counter decided all could be done was add my wife as a second driver....the cost spiraled out of control...never use again,

Pros: Did not have insurance rates listed, and wanted a 5000 Euro deposit to use my credit card insurance which was not clear in the booking process. Also they were not able to refund me the cost of the car after I asked to cancel the reservation due to the above.

Great sevice but the car had issues and the hidden
Pros: I liked the customer service and staff.
Cons: The insurance that they don't tell you about racks up. The car also had its warning engine light on from the start which was concerning.

Forced to not take the car
Cons: When I got to the airport, Sixt advised me that the full amount I paid up front wasn't enough and I needed to pay an extra $400. I didn't have the additional funds so had to leave the airport without the car. This wasn't mentioned in t&cs - not transparent - avoid!!

Pros: Cancelled rental because of bullshit
Cons: Tried to scam me on insurance so I walked away

Cons: Ended up cancelling our rental and going with Hertz instead at Dublin Airport due to a syntax requirement. They require a letter from your credit card issuer (which is fine), but it must include the word 'Ireland' in the letter under worldwide coverage.

Pros: Would not rent from them again. First car received had a bulge in a tire upon pick-up from rental site; second car they tried to give us had one tire that was almost flat. Third car they gave us upon pickup was okay. Spent a couple of hours in the process of getting an acceptable car that did not have safety issues Thee agent also insisted that we had to insure the car with their insurance and not our own quality insurance policy and it was quite expensive. Overall this was a bad experience and I would not recommend this rental car company to anyone.

Pros: These people are thieves

Unexpected insurance charges
Cons: I chose to rent in advance from Sixt because the price seemed so low. When I got to the counter I was informed about the fine print - insurance is required and basically doubles the cost of the rental. I'm sure the price turns out to be fair in the end but it's a real kick in the pants to go to pick up the car you've already paid for, only to find out that you need to pay again. They should really stop hiding that insurance cost in the fine print.

Lied to and ripped off
Pros: The car was great - Nissan Micra,
Cons: I had prepaid my car but when I went to pick up they insisted there was an additional $20 a day charge, unless I had with me a letter from car insurance company or credit card company saying they'd cover it. This was not made known when I booked the car. They do not tell you this beforehand as a way of forcing you to pay this extra amount. Disgusting.

Dishonest, tried to charge double
Cons: Dishonest--I asked for an invoice upon returning the car, and was told it would be emailed to me. Emailed invoice claimed I returned the car an hour later than I did, and they billed me for an extra day. Will be disputing charge.

Pros: The car was great - had GPS to help us get around Ireland. Clean and nice. Great car. The employees we encountered were also great.
Cons: We used Kayak and the prices listed are only for the actual car. We thought we'd be paying roughly $15 a day/$105 for the week for the car and had budgeted for that. When we went to get the car - the actual cost was $450 for the week.. over $300 more than we had planned due to the addition cost needed for insurance on the car. There was nothing written on the site regarding these addition costs.
