Rental car level was wrong when we picked up, then they lied about the coverage and he added more than asked for. We went to pick up the car and the lady outside then said we have an electric car, but we had a large SUV. Made me prove it in an email after the guy inside said we had a small SUV. Aweful. My flight got delayed so they cancelled my car because I didn’t pick it up at the exact reservation time. I had to make an emergency trip due to my Grandmother being in the hospital. This was really inconvenient and I will never give Thrifty my business again.Reviewed May 3 2024

The Thrifty office was well signposted but it was a vacant, unfurnished shopfront. It was only a local mall security guard who told us that actually Thrifty operates out of the Hertz office (the word Thrifty is not anywhere), and even that is a third party company again. As a result, we have had to deal with 5 different companies to get a hire car. I suggest Kayak does not do business with Thrifty Mexico until this is resolved.Reviewed May 1 2024

It was horrible because we didn't got a car. We were 2 hours late (what we wrote them via email) and when we arrived they told us that the reservation is cancelled and the car is not available anymore. They tried to give is another car then which would cost us more then three times the price from the reservation. Absolute horrific situation and employees.Reviewed Apr 28 2024
