Pros:Not a thing.
Cons:We rented a car for our wedding weekend. After a few days, we started getting calls multiple times a day (still while trying to get married and such!). These calls were very vague as to who was calling us - they would just mention Dollar/Thrifty. They tried telling us they were calling us checking in that we had good service at pick up time (very annoying at this time as I said we were in the midst of getting married). Then they started asking for certain vehicle numbers. We gave them the numbers. They called back yet again asking for more numbers! We called the main number and were told there was no record on our account of having any calls made to us. Of course this worried us thinking maybe someone was scamming us by calling so many times! Over the course of our rental we recieved numerous phone calls asking for various numbers even though we had given the same numbers in the previous phone call. Finally we were told the car was not "checked out" properly when we picked up our rental. I understand mistakes are made, however this is not our fault or problem! To be disturbed multiple times over a vacation (not to mention our wedding!!!), is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, rather than calling the primary number on the acct, our emergency contact was called each of these times. I have rented with Dollar/Thrifty before and thought they were an alright company. However, after this experience I have zero intentions of ever giving this joke of a car rental company my money again! I felt very mistreated as a customer.
Cons:they didn't have anyone working to dig out the car from the ice. i spent 30 minutes removing snow and ice from the rental car. pretty much every person that rented around that time had to do the same.
Pros:Thrifty staff was prompt, friendly, didn't hassle me noticably about it being a reservation through Kayak, were informative but not pushy about the insurance, had the car model I reserved, and the value was excellent!
Cons:That the insurance offered through Kayak does not directly cover damage to the rental, and this is not stated clearly in Kayak's offer.
Pros:2019 Camry was a great car.
Cons:$13/day to add a spouse as a driver is ridiculous. Every other car rental company that I’ve used does this for free. Will not be using Thrifty in the future on this basis.
Cons:I was stranded in a place where I knew no one.
Pros:The rental went very well. Car was clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful.

Cons:Called Thrifty customer service day before and was told I was no longer a Thrifty Blue Chip member, stood in long line for more than 30 minutes when picking up car, only to find I was indeed a Blue Chip member in good standing and could have avoided the long line and gone directly to Blue Chip Member line with only one other member ahead of me. Person directing customers to cars after transaction were completed at the counter was unable to determine which people were should be served first.
Cons:The agent lied and tried to charge extra, generally rude and condescending, enjoyed the fact that licenses expire and that they cannot rent cars to expired licenses and the solution was to "call a cab"

Pros:The DTW agent was friendly but seemed to have too much going on - understaffed, and really tried to please everyone. The chosen car, a Ford Fiesta, was clean, a perfect size to maneuver and comfortable.
Cons:Transit from DTW to pick up location was confusing because multiple Car Rentals had been combined. The paperwork did not match what I reserved/paid online. Drop off at MSP drop-off was confusing as no one was directing people on what to do. Customers just stood around and stared at each other asking each other what to do. Finally someone with a handheld computer said just leave the keys in the car after being asked. I still do not know what my final charge will be and have received no paper work or emails finalizing the transaction. MSP seemed totally unstaffed and not monitored by employees.
