Cons:Prompt and efficient service. Good value car rental.
Pros:I was upgraded to a nicer car (at no additional cost) because the car they originally had me assigned to looked like it had been in a fender-bender. Not wanting to be blamed for this, they were able to reassign a vehicle. I really appreciated the female employee's assistance with that. Also, it was convenient that the rental car company was in the airport. Oh, be sure to fill up the car before you drop it off! They will charge $9.99/gallon if you don't! I saw a couple that were upset when they were going to be charged almost $100 because they didn't fill it up. It says it clearly on the contract though.
Cons:The process of getting into your rental car is confusing. Once you pay inside, you are given the paper that has your assigned car in its slot. No one walks out with you to find the vehicle. There are many lots with rental cars. We had gotten into the wrong car at first. No one walks around and inspects the car with you, so make sure you do that before you leave. They can give you a piece of paper that you can dictate any scratches or dings. The drop off was fairly simple and painless.
Pros:Car was clean. Car drove well. No complaints about car itself.
Cons:Wait time in line at pickup was over 1 hour. Cars not ready and available for assignment. Staff very slow. Staff not communicative about delays. Only 2 staff working Friday evening. 1 staff was a trainee. Customers were actually leaving the line and going to other rental companies.
Pros:After getting on highway, I noticed rear bumper flapping in the wind and stopped to push back in. Didn't get far before it happened again. Stopped and called roadside assistance who was very helpful and together we decided it best to turn around and trade the car. Super helpful attendant quickly got me into a different car yet before departing, I noted the front bumper was very loose! She quickly got me another car and 3rd time was a charm....the experience was seamless from there.

Cons:My flight was delayed and the Thrifty rental counter closed before I arrived. No local or manager number to call. I was stranded at the airport late at night. I had to use alternate transportation that night and return to the airport to pick up the rental car the next morning. Then, Thrifty refused to modify my rental contract for the adjusted period of time. So I was stranded without a car and paid for a day I did not use. I filed a complaint but no acknowledgement or resolution.
Pros:It was easy to place the reservation and for kayak to take my money.
Cons:It was easy for kayak to take my money and leave me without a rental car. Got to the Indianapolis International Airport expecting to pick up a van. Thrifty and all other rental agencies wouldn’t give me the time of day. Leaving me stranded with the option to phone a friend. Reasons stated are as follows: Under 25, No major credit card, No loopholes in their policies that allowed an Active Duty Service member to rent while in leave. I needed orders stating that I needed a rental vehicle for military purposes. They have me a “you’re SOL buddy” kind of attitude. Good luck to anyone who deals with such people on a daily basis.

Cons:I booked this Sunday for early pick up Monday morning. No other location but the airport location had availability for 7am. When I arrived there was no clear markers on where I should go. The people I called for help just told me the terminal... Its huge so no help. When I finally made it to the Thrifty desk it was not staffed. I went out to the garage and was asked to present my credit card and id. My debit card which I had used to book the reservation was not good enough I needed a major credit card or round trip ticket. And even though my 2 day rental for local purposes was only $88 they would not help me. I ended up walking back through the terminal without a rental. Ive rented with my debit card before. I was told by the terms there may be a fee or amount held on my card due to it being a debit. I was fine with that. But in the end I had to cancel my plans because I did not have my rental car. I will never book through Thirty or Dollar again.
