Very nice room, very functional for a business stay, great location. Staff was very helpful. Fitness room was not good. Equipment was not functional, had to go elsewhere to get a workout. Would like to see more in the area near the front desk where you can buy quick snacks or personal items. Was way to limited. I had to go to a grocery store to get what I needed.
The Best Western in Layton was perfect for us. The location was near the functions we attended and there were numerous choices nearby to eat and shop. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine. Didn't care for the cable news selections on the TV. I prefer to get fair and balanced newscasts and cable channels. We could watch MSNBC and CNN but not Fox News was excluded from choices available to guests. Hmmmm!
I was very impressed with the breakfast at the hotel. Clean and quiet. It was great. Parking area was small.
Slow elevator. That is the only complaint I can think of. Everything else was excellent and will definitely return on next trip.
It was better than our expectations. Very clean and quiet and the breakfast was much above average.
Breakfast was good in my room was nice with the couch The front desk staff were not very helpful and didn't seem like they even want to be
The rooms were very clean and I felt at home once I walked in. They had a great selection of breakfast food and I was very pleased with our stay. We will definitely stay there again!
This was a very nice place to stay. Our room was quiet and decently secluded which is what we asked for and the breakfast was excellent! I wish we would have been able to check in earlier than 4:00pm. We had a wedding that evening and was rushing to get everyone ready.
Clean Not quiet, could hear all of our neighbors, breakfast was lacking, staff was not really helpful
Everything we needed, great Sunday breakfast! Yummy crepes and fresh berries and cream. Our room was spacious. Great laundry room(but expensive). Staff was kind and tried hard to do a good job. They provided a pack n play for our baby and there was plenty of room for our toddler to sleep on a mat on the floor. Hotel was quiet, traffic noise barely audible the kids napped great in the afternoon. There was even a sound machine function to the clock radio. Would stay there again. No restaurant, stores, gas stations close by so you have to drive a few miles for services. Location was perfect for what we needed, right on Highway 89. Laundry was $5 per load if you need to use their detergent, pretty spendy! The sheets seemed freshly laundered, but there was some hair presumably just caught in them in the wash or dryer.
In addition to cleaning and straightening, they took my daughters stuffed animals and set them in a cute row on the bed. Very sweet touch, and just what was needed after a long hot day.
Cleanliness. Modern appointments and comfortable beds. Friendly staff
It was very clean, the staff was very friendly, I would absolutely stay here again The shower was really slippery. Odd complaint, I know, but it's really the only negative thing I had
The location was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Many of the carpets throughout the hotel were dingy. The stairwell was an outside fire escape that was filthy and had no access back into the building.
The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, the room was quiet too. Though we were on the freeway side we did not notice road noise . I really liked the fact that they gave you soft and firm pillows. The equipment was up to date. Complimentary breakfast wast very nice and we also had an option to order from the restaurant and get a discount on the meal instead. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We travelled a bit farther than we anticipated because the other hotels on the way did not have very clean reviews. We were not disappointed.
The reception area had a strong scent of artificial spices, some sort of insipid intensional aroma. It was likely one of the new branding aromas that companies are using hoping to get customers hooked on their business. I found it almost nauseating and used the backdoor of the building to avoided the lobby during our entire three day stay.
Bed was comfortable, lobby was decorated nicely, pool area was clean. Pool could have been warmer, furnishings in the room were cheaply made and outdated. Food at the Bistro was terrible, my daughters French toast was raw and doughy. There was mold at the bottom of the shower in the tile grout.
Very clean newly remodeled. Nice decor, better than most Marriotts, everything is updated & unique styling. It's walking distance to all the good parts of town. No breakfast buffet, no sense of friendly environment (other people/windows on ground floor)
Breakfast and location was good for what I needed. Wifi was glitzy and I ended up using the data on my phone instead. Heater in room did not work and there wasn't any weather stripping around the door. Staff was helpful to move me next door to another room where the heater also did not work. The heater stayed on during the entire time I was there and never reached its selected temperature.
It was clean and comfortable for a good rate. The location was great, also...close to dining and nightlife options. Building and rooms were very out of date
there was no smoking rooms and also wish there was a fridge and microwave
I did like the breakfast buffet in the morning. It was honestly the best part of the stay. The free WiFi was also a huge plus. Omg, the place was under construction with a remodel so there was debris everywhere. There was a hole in my comforter, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was gross, the furniture looked like it were bought at grandma's yard sale. . . The whole place needs to be scrubbed down in a desperate way.
Nothing The hotel was old and unclean. My family and I felt unsafe being in the motel and in the neighborhood surrounding it. We left after being there for about 15 minutes and found a safer more suitable place to stay.
Rooms and ants!!!
Nothing Staff is unprofessional, facilities are ghetto.
Building was under construction although that does t account for the rundown condition of the room. We did have a small dog, maybe that explains the room condition.
Free Wifi and free continental breakfast was good. Staff and level of clean was good. Various minor imperfections, and other little things we are accustomed to such as TV Listing channel not there.
Bad neighborhood. Place surrounded by tweakers in the parking lot. Someone vomited in the hall outside my door. Building in general is in rough shape.
under construction, smelled of smoke, stains and holes in bedding. bathroom not cleaned well. food found in fridge from previous guest
The best thing about this hotel was leaving. Even though the pictures online looked okay, once we arrived we noted that this place looks like it used be an old motor inn that they built a facade around the entire old motel...inside smells musty and moldy from the indoor pool that used to be out doors. There were multiple code violations in the room, exposed wires, drop ceiling in the bathroom, dirty blankets and comforters. The air conditioner did not cool the room with out the aid of an industrial fan. At least we couldn't hear any of the noises coming from other rooms...the fan was so loud. We would have left and stayed some where else except they wouldn't refund the fee we paid online.
Very nice clean facility. We also had excellent restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast quality and service were great. Room was at the end of the line.
There was no fan in the bathroom of our bedroom. And there was no complimentary breakfast in the morning
Friendly staff and attentive to needs. I really enjoyed my stay. They took a little time to get me checked in. They were about 40 minutes late getting me in my room.
it was connected to the conference center I was attending a convention at. The cookies they serve in the evening are delicious. The staff was friendly. Room felt old compared to the lobby, etc. We were in a room near the elevator & could hear it throughout the night. It sounded like a movie playing loud.
The Staff outdid themselves making sure to fulfill our requests! The location was hard to find. We had programmed the address into our car's GPS. It got us there but through parking lots & around a shopping mall...
Proximity to major shopping outlets and major highway Coffee service in the lobby was extremely inconsistent. AC in the rooms is extremely old and non-digital. Room cleaning was inconsistent. Smoking allowed on 3rd floor stunk up the 2nd floor on which I was staying. Smoking should not be allowed.
The staff were extremely helpful That they overcharged me and also charged me more money after I left
Very modern First room they put us in we looked out the window and all you could see was the air conditioning unit with a pool of green slime and stinking water running out of it, totally disgusting and potentially harmfull, and the rooms air conditioner did not work
The room was spacious and the food was great. The breakfast seemed overpriced but it was good quality.

I mistakenly booked my stay on the wrong day, but did not realize it until arrived at the comfort inn around midnight. I had a wedding to attend the next morning. The staff at the hotel were honored my booking despite my mistake. They were so gracious. Great staff! Thank you comfort Inn
Breakfast was good The staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I was there 3 days and housekeeping didn't come by at all.
The staff is SPLENDID!!! They actually offer to do things for you and are always ready with a smile and the time to chat a bit. The location is perfect, right in the middle of The Junction. Museum, multiplex cinema and other attractions literally across the street. Maybe just a little overpriced.
That you let us extend our check out by one hour! We were hoping breakfast would be included.
I loved the new fresh look. The bed and decor was excellent. I also liked the location, super friendly staff and nicely designed fitness room. The room overall was fantastic and would be happy to stay there again. The in-room refrigerator was noisy coming on every 10-15 minutes and was loud enough to wake me on multiple occasions, which isn't easy. I also wish I could close the drapes to block all light.
Accommodating staff, comfortable bed, good location, great oversized shower
They are ideally located. Pool was small, fitness center was smaller. I bought breakfast and they put my food on someone else's table for about 10 minutes, when I asked about it they apologized and went to get it (from their table). I didn't see them go into the kitchen so I directly asked whether or not it was on someone else's table, the waiter was evasive so I asked again directly. He looked me in the eyes and said, "No; it wasn't on anyone else's table." When I was up at the buffet, a woman told me that it had indeed been on her table. That is unhygienic and unprofessional; I don't like liars.
Checked in at 11pm no lines Though a Hilton was suppose to be nice. But Hilton in ogden is not nice at all even walking down the hall going to my room I knew I was in ogden. Dirty eve very thing was dirty. Then we get to our room check bed stiff whatever laying there looking at walls gross what's all over them ewww. Go to get in shower jam my toes on drain cover not installed ouch kind of mad. Now in bed can't sleep from cars racing up and down the blvd. Waking up not rested after further inspection the bed was discusting stains on sheets and looked like somebody's had a orgy in there before we got there with no clean up will be the last time I ever stay at a hilton. One word GROSS freaking GROSS
Big room Room was freezing when I walked in- about 20F which was outside temperature- turned heater on and it took about 5 hours to heat up the room because the heater barely blew any air. No continental breakfast. No work out room - it was under repair. Definitely not worth $100 .
Room was clean. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. A/C didn't seem to work right. No matter what temp we set it at it seemed to stay at the same temp. The A/C fan was very noisy at night.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Our room wasn't quite ready but the staff quickly made adjustments and got us into another room without delay. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. We had a room on the back of the facility which I would recommend. Right across the parking lot on this side is a "hotel quests only" park and it was very quiet on this side.
Refrigerator and microwave were a must for me so i enjoyed having both in my room. I enjoyed the free breakfast with lots of choices it saves you money when you are staying a lot of days especially with kids. I like the comforters they had on the beds and i like the toiletries. The sink was not in the bathroom which isn't uncommon ,but it was directly next to the door so if you have people coming it and out of your room it's hard to get ready because you are standing in front of it. The pool tile is very slippery and we saw someone slip and fall.
Convenience to the highway, familiar brand, bed was comfortable Had to wait about 8 minutes to be checked in even though no one else was in line. Hotel needs to be upgraded, carpet in hallways was gross and elevator was very run down. Ice machine was leaking and gross with stains.
The beds are very comfortable and the staff very helpful Loved it all
Cleanliness, modern furnishings, most needs for our stay were met. No rollaway beds available; extra towels weren't provided as asked at online check-in; have to go to front desk for extra towels; check-out statement should indicate if check-out is complete without calling or going to front desk; Bistro location should be mentioned.
I stayed here when I came to town for a friends wedding... It was brand new and very clean. The only problem I had was right after I checked in I had just got out of the shower and housekeeping WITHOUT KNOCKING just walked into the room... The excuse they gave me? That I had checked in early and they were doing a room check.... but why wouldn't you KNOCK? They didn't do anything for me because of it and I was really upset that the maid didn't even apologize either... But overall very nice place, I would stay there again, but next time I will make sure that the door is double locked!! =)
Great look and feel to everything, decent breakfast, see also review Used to be the apples at the front desk were always high quality, but the new front desk staff seems to have gotten lazy about them.
Very modern, great rooms. Priceline only let us book for one day and we had to switch rooms. But staff was very accommodating.
Good location. Modern design. Pool under construction. Hidabed had hair all over sheet, had not been changed. Carpets dingy.
Breakfast available just run down and get it, enough choices even a freezer and snack stand. Overall easy place to stay for business layover.
We initially checked in and were put in a room with an adjoin door to the room next door. The guy there was using his 'ourdoor voice' into the phone cussing out his mom. Felt like he was in the room with us. We went downstairs and asked for another room and were immediately moved to another floor in a non-adjoining room. It was heaven. Views of the mountain, comfortable bed, and could not hear anyone else. The location is great too - you can walk to restaurants and the movie theater. They even have a little walking trail around the hotel. We enjoyed the kitchen - Super Target was close by and we got some microwave snacks and beverages for the fridge. Hot tea and coffee in the lounge at night, nice work out room and indoor pool, washer and dryer facilities #didn't use, looked brand new#. Staff all super nice, very accomodating. Not enough HDMI cables at the front desk - they had two, which were already rented out, so could not play computer movies on the bit flat screen in the room, but otherwise no problems at all with this hotel. Wi-Fi strong and consistent. and Free! Did not visit the breakfast buffet, and no maid service on the weekends unless you ask.
Nice and contemporary. My family really enjoyed the space of the suites and the comfortable feeling of the hotel.
kitchenette in room the pool was under construction
I love the thought of this hotel. It is very nice having the large table that is movable and I love the kitchens in them. The hotel itself has been very poorly insulated. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. You can hear the outside as well. The pocket doors on the bathroom is a good space saver; however, they are very loud when closing & opening.
Rooms were very nice and located close to everything we wanted to see I wish there had been a stove and oven, since it did say it had a full kitchen, but lacked the cooking range
Pool and hot tub were under construction. Main reason we went there was to swim and get away. :( Need more people helping with breakfast. No one was at the front desk.
The room was fantastic, it looked sleek and modern and was very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was my experience at the hotel. We thought the hot tub would be relaxing at 10:00 PM, but there were children splashing us, running and jumping into the pool, and using the lifesavers as tubes to play with.
We were thinking of staying an additional night and asked the front desk. We did not want to stay in the room we were in because we had a baby and dog in rooms close by that interrupted our rest. They did not sympathize with our situation and quoted us a higher rate for the next night. We ended up at the Courtyard on 24th right next to the historic district, at a lower rate and far better accommodations. All's well that ends well. We were just surprised that they did not try a little harder to keep us at their hotel. I don't think that the manager would have let a customer go. The girl at the front desk just seemed not to care at all.
Very comfortable and great beds and a hot breakfast. Toilet had issues from right when we got there and kept clogging. Not even a plunger fixed it. Couldn't even use the toilet the next morning.
This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was thorough, courteous, and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable and it was a great value. We stayed here because it was recommended on the web page for Lagoon park, and we are so glad we did. It was very close to the park and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lagoon
Location was excellent, we had a conference downtown SLC and it was very convenient location. The hotel was beautiful with clean and great facilities including rooms. Cookies and lemon water available every night. Pool and hot tub were great. Gas station next door and plenty of restraunts within blocks. Nothing.
The location was great, right near the freeway so you can get to and from your destinations easily and quickly. The room was very clean and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. I would've like to have had more variety at breakfast, but it was still delicious!
I was happy to see a few extra pillows on the bed. The breakfast was great for our quick mornings before the conference. Overall I don't think we could've found a better hotel for the money. Great location, only 7 minutes from the Davis conference center. I would've liked an elevator, but I'm guessing they would have accommodated me to the main floor had I asked.
You get what you pay for. The room was dirty and when I told the front desk lady when I checked out it was kinda like she blew me off. She asked but I don't think she really wanted an answer. I liked the price, but I won't stay there again.
