Clean and comfortable. Every thing was good.
Very comfortable and the environment was nice. Wifi didn't work in our room (325)
Front desk at check in was great. Manager was very helpful when I asked to change rooms due to construction noise. Construction noise. Service in the bar was truly awful. It was so bad I thought it might be a candid camera setup to see how customers reacted. The
My stay was awesome I have a young son and the pool was clean and the room was nice and welcoming The staff at the rest. Was rude and we waited 20 minutes to sit down and then couldn't get more drinks and took 15 min. To get bill then was charged 8 dollars for my son to eat two bites of fruit the hotel was awesome but I'll never eat at the restaurant ever
Price was good.
The hotel has a good location. It is close to shopping and the interstate. The room was clean & comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to pay for Wifi in your room.
This is my second trip to this location, each visit just gets better. The staff that works in this establishment is VERY professional. Every interaction that we've had with Morgan, Linzey, and Brandon was just very individual and personal. I've stayed at A LOT of different places and when I think about when I have came here I just feel so good about my stay. The Customer Service is Genuine and not fake or rude, that alone is hard to come by........I LOVE THIS PLACE There were NO complaints........(LOVED EVERYTHING)
Plenty of space in the room. It would be great for an extended stay. Great selections for breakfast both hot and cold items. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. Potentially our new place to stay when in Des Moines area.m Heard some very muffled noise from hall or next room in the night but very minor.
Everything Nothing it was great hotel
Clean, easy to get to. Full breakfast with hot food including eggs. Our room was on the 3rd floor, it was a warm winter day. The window was fixed so it would not open at all and the AC unit would not cool the room well and the fan setting only recirculated the too warm air. It was too hot to sleep comfortably, but if you like it this way, enjoy!
Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Our room was really nice and clean! Bed was comfortable too. I would definitely stay at a Springhill Suites again! The bathroom needed some updating. While taking a shower the faucet continued to squeak and tub needed to be be replaced.
Our stay was good and the room was clean, we would stay here again
Full kitchen was nice if we needed to stay longer. Apartments converted into hotel. Pool was clean. Hot tub was just warm, mold on ceiling, bad urine smell in room, no sheets or blankets or pillows for the pull out bed.
It was very clean and friendly Housekeeping woke up my son and my aunt even though we had no service on the door.
Free internet, breakfast, and access to a local gym are great. My non-smoking room smelled like smoke and irritated my allergies.
Large space, friendly staff and good breakfast Road noise
We had a leak in the kitchen area and the bath tub could use some work
For the money, you can't get a better room, with as much space. The bath area is really private, set in the back of the room, not by the front door as per usual. Everything seemed faily clean. THe bed was not the newest but was comfortable. The common area for breakfast was very nice and attractive. WE didn't use the pool. In general the place is not being maintained. The entrance to our room was unsightly and falling apart. A bit scary actually. There is no attempt at landscaping anything. The bathroom floor was coming up where the shower water had seeped underneath. There was a spider on one of the pillows when we were getting ready for bed.
Newly renovated Exterior could use work
We really like the location and it really fits our shopping needs in the Des Moines, IA area. We stay at this location several times each year, actually every time we stay overnight in the Des Moines area. We were very disappointed with the aging condition of our room and the lack of upkeep of the property. Not only do we enjoyed staying at this location, but also at other Midwest USA locations. We were really shocked at the condition of our room!!!
It was easy to get to. You get what you pay for and I don't think I paid for house keeping because it was non existent. The toilet was stained brown, the bottom of the tub was dirty (I took a shower wearing flip flops), the floors were sticky, and the bed had a dip in the center. I had to stay here for 5 days and I would come back at the end of the work day with hair all over the bath counter, in the soap dish and in the tub. I was so grossed out that I bought my own cleaner with bleach and cleaned the room myself. It was the kind of place that I didn't want to tell the front desk because who knew what they would do to my things while I was gone. Can't say I took advantage of the breakfast that was included because if the room was any indication of what was coming out of the kitchen, I wasn't taking any chances. One good thing is that it is freeway close.... And you know that because you can hear it through the walls. Sorry, but if my company trys to puts me up there again, I'll pass and get a room somewhere else on my own dime. There are plenty other options in the area.
The rooms were setup very nice and cozy . The staff was more than happy to help us with anything we needed and very friendly When we walked in the room and it had been cleaned but the trash had not been removed. They were quick about fixing the situation. The rooms could use some up keep
I really like the layout. The separate buildings gave it mountain resort feel, which I appreciated.
Amazing bed and pillows. Linens were clean and soft. Restaurant was delicious- we ate dinner with drinks and breakfast buffet. The accessible shower bench was a bit flimsy, but worked. With our physical disability needs, the hotels definitely accommodated our needs.
Staff was very helpful with all our questions. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. It seemed like a friendly place.
Base price ok The breakfast was expensive enough that I should have checked total cost of stay. The location was not very convenient
The breakfast there is excellent the staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean and ready 2 hours early and that is great when u work overnight and can get 2 more hours of sleep the poor area is also very nice. No it was a great stay.
It was very close to a running trail and I liked it. No
Location was perfect. Very clean. Very nice breakfast.

Decent staff Under construction Pounding hammers at 7am. Awful experience. Pool was shut down as well
Swimming pool area is nice. Temperature for pool was great. Breakfast was not very good. Orange juice and milk watered down.
Great staff and value priced hotel
Comfortable beds, friendly staff Our room was located on the side with freeway noise. The freeway noise woke me up very early. The was some hotel construction noise.
Room was clean and quiet even with a large group of youth there for a volleyball tournament. Pool was clean. Included in price breakfast, wifi and parking were nice. Nice toiletries. 2 double beds were a bit cramped for 1 adult 2 teenagers!
Pleasant atmosphere. Bright lobby. Some construction going on for remodel on top floors.
Staff switched rooms to make our stay more enjoyable. Facilities were in great condition. Very comfortable.
staff was very accommodating, helping with my convoluted bookings. i would recommend this hotel breakfast was very limited not as good as some places of the same type of hotel
The complementary breakfast
Clean, updated rooms. Great free breakfast. Staff went out of their way to accommodate.
Nice clean rooms, great breakfast, and reasonable price.
The hot tub was not available and nothing was said online about it. That was why we booked was for the hot tub.
Large living room Room reaked of smoke suppose to be non smoking room. Bathtub did not drain had to stand in about 5 to 6 inches if water. Due to the drainage issue the bottom if the tub was slimey and gross had not been cleaned. The room was noisy. Would not stay agai
Parking Room was not made up. Heater broken and noisy in next room.
Very nice suite Lamps unplugged; had to move sofa. No amenities in bathrm. Bedrm light switch didn't turn on light; heating cooling thermostat didn't work.
The kitchen was great
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Nice location.

Room was clean and area around hotel was nice. Walking path right behind hotel was great. Asked front desk staff for resturant/lounge within walking distance. Said there were none and gave us a discount card for Granite City with his name on it. There were many other choices in walking distance. He just didn't want us to know.
I rarely leave a 10/10, but this hotel was just about perfect. nice spacious room (like a small suite), good breakfast. It is a couple miles from places to eat, but that's fine. I wouldn't change a thing. no, it was all good.

The staff was great! The hotel was clean, and our room was in good condition. It was a bit noisy. The trash men came to empty the dumpsters, located somewhere near our room (we were on the top floor, though) at around 5am.
Friendliness of staff at check-in. Location made it difficult to easily get to I-80 whenever leaving the hotel.
Breakfast was delicious and loved the jetted tub only 1 elevator for entire building
The staff was excellent. Very helpful ravers person I came in contact with was very happy and welcoming! Property very clean! Everything was great!! Would recommend to anyone!
Great hotel for family and business.
Room was nice. Enjoyed the extra pull out sofa. No usb plug ins anywhere in the room! Wish I knew they were doing renovations, bar was closed. Had to walk on blankets with wet paint on them through the lobby right next to the elevator. Tv didn't have a guide. Not what I expected for $140 a night. Should have just got a cheaper room closer to the interstate.
The rooms were very clean, staff helpful and nice. The breakfast was very nice, all in all a good value.
We were very happy with our stay. Our room was quiet even with all the traffic outside as it is near a shopping mall. There are plenty of restaurants close & the hotel is easy to get to. We liked that there was a full size fridge in the room as we had snacks & food for the family. They do have a small swimming pool for the size of the hotel, but the kids enjoyed it! The breakfasts were also great! We will stay here again in the future!
First and foremost, booked the room after reading that the hotel was pet friendly. Nothing was mentioned about the cost of having a pet stay with you while going through the detail of the booking process...ended up costing more than the humans staying in the room. So the total bill was more than double the original purchase price. The room was average; I don't know how old the hotel is, it can't be that old, but the main room and bedroom both had TV's; granted, both TV's were of the old tube type...no modern HD flatscreens here. Minor grip...I know. Overall, the room served it's purpose; but nothing to write home about. The pool was nice to take the kids down to and it was open for quite a while during the evening. The area around the hotel is really nice; plenty to do if you need to shop or eat at a restaurant. The free breakfast had great choices; though it was packed downstairs, so we had to take it back up to our room; again, minor issue. But when we finished eating the fire alarm went off...perfect timing as we were leaving anyway!! Average hotel; would I stay again, probably not.
I had never stayed in a Residence Inn until last weekend. I was very impressed. Rooms were very clean. I loved the two-room floor plan. One of the best hotel complimentary breakfasts I have ever had. Vast array of hot & cold breakfast items. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Location was also nice if wanting to shop at the Jordan Creek Mall - all within walking distance.
This is a pleasant hotel in a park-like setting that also includes restaurants and a movie theater. It is a mile or so west of Interstate 35, in a quiet setting. I would stay there again.
This is a good quality suites hotel with a kitchen in each unit, tasteful decor, luxurious bed, vanity outside the bathroom, and excellent climate control. The breakfast choices and setting are outstanding. A few steps out the side door is the Jordan Creek plaza and shopping center with a walkway and excellent restaurant choices surrounding a beautiful pond and fountain. Inside the mall building are additional great eating choices and a wide variety of quality stores. The drive east to downtown Des Moines is less than 15 minutes on wide, modern highways, so everything is quickly and easily accessible by car from here.
My son and I loved the Jordan Creek Marriot. The rooms were beautiful and absolutely comfortable. The were stocked with a kitchen which was handy with leftovers. One of the two phones in our rooms didn't work or I couldn't fiugre it out, but it did not present a problem for us. The hotel staff did offer to move us to a different room. The pool was great for us, but I could see it being too small with big crowds. The morning breakfast was great and lots of varities. The hotel staff helped us with reservations at the Cheescake Factory at Jordan Creek Towne Center. There was gorgeous landscaping and a lake between the hotel and Towne Center. The Towne Center was close enough to walk to. The Towne Center is a must-visit with lots of great shops. You can sometimes receive 'special' treatment because you stay at the Marriot. We were also extremly close to two interstates and grocery stores and discounts shops. I would definitely recommend a stay there.
We had a kitchen, with everything you needed. Nice clean Bedroom,Lliving room and Bath room. My twin grand daughters were over and we had a great time. There was also a nice pool and Exercise room. We will definitly be back. Thanks
I booked a room with two beds. My son had to sleep on a sofa sleeper with only a top sheet and blanket. The bedroom had a very drafty and cold. The linens were not warm enough for a winter night. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent!
My family loves this hotel. We try to meet here once a year because the location is convenient for all of my relatives and it offers so many amenities on site and close by. The mall next door along with all of the nice restaurants within walking distance is awesome. The hotel staff is by far the most accommodating, professional, and courteous group of individuals I have ever had the pleasure to interact with in this type of setting. The hotel rooms and all the common areas are really nice and comfortable. The kitchen amenities are top notch. Each room is like an apartment so you really can make this place a home away from home. The housekeeping was efficient as well as thorough. Our only negative is the pool is really too small for the size of the hotel. It cannot accommodate too many people. However, it is clean and they offer great pool hours. We love this hotel and plan to spend many more family events there.
Good service. Clean. Comfortable bed and chairs/sofa. Good breakfast. Free WiFi. Good location near park, mall, restaurants.
I needed an economical but decent room for a recent training seminar. This Motel 6 fit the bill very well. the location was both clean and neutral smelling and had staff at the desk almost constantly. My room was clean, well prepared and comfortable. For my simple and utilitarian needs this was a good fit. When a problem arose with paperwork to submit for reimbursement (reservation through booking.com) it was the Motel 6 staff that found the solution and not booking.com...certainly not booking.com. The coffee could have been out earlier or in fact all day. I am an early riser and coffee wasn't out until after I was on my way.
The room was clean. If you don't need frills, this is the way to go.
clean and modern no decaf coffee or hot water for tea
For the dollar it was a nice place. The room and bathroom were quite big. The staff was very friendly! Nothing.
I wanted an affordable place to stay near the interstate and Motel 6 fit the bill. I took the room because of price but was pleasantly surprised at how clean and up to date the room was. I would stay there again if I was passing through. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on at at motel. There wasn't much I didn't like, would have liked a coffee maker in the room. For the price i didn't expect breakfast but the coffee would have been perfect. They did offer it in the lobby.
The location was great. The beds were awful too springy like staying in Gramma's attic during a blizzard. The TV was an old fat back leaning terrible forward looked like it was gonna fall off . The shower rod was all wrong it needed to be on a curved rod,the bottom of the tub very slippery. No bath mat it was just a hand towel. The only ice machine we could find was in the lobby the tray under it looked a bit moldy. The free coffee tasted like 3 week old sludge. No tissues or any toiletries .
Everything was perfect
The room was clean and smelled fresh. It was simple and there was plenty of counter space. The room wasn't fancy, but it was perfect for the nights stay I needed. The bathroom was very clean as well. I liked their bathtub/shower. The towels were really small and not very soft. They served their purpose.
Johnny's Steak House Traders Joe's, Office Max and numerous other restaurants within walking distance. Gym and swimming areas a fantastic. No guest service before 0630 whatsoever. Poor HBO digital signal reception Morning front desk guy comes off as introverted, indifferent and plays computer games most mornings.
Very Clean, Friendly Staff, Nice comfortable rooms, great location.
The website and a call to the motel in advance both stated that a crib would be available for our one year old. We were less than pleased when we arrived to find that what they meant was not actually a crib, but a pack n play. In my book, these two things are NOT equivalent. My daughter is an awesome sleeper but not accustomed to sleeping in a pack n play. If I had been told this when I called ahead earlier in the week, I would have brought ours from home, which would have been more comfortable for her. Other than this, the room and facilities were perfectly adaquate. This was our first family vacation, so having her not want to sleep until she basically passed out at 11 each night was not great for us to be able to enjoy the following day.
Nice lobby friendly Breakfast just ok. Hard to find
Check-in was quick, friendly and efficient. The room was nice but not fancy. There is no elevator to the second floor, but this was a minor issue.
I appreciated the help getting my door unlocked, the parking right outside my room, and that the room was cool enough in the serious heat The broken air conditioning in the breakfast room made the room a little uncomfortable. I would also have liked to see more protein offered in the breakfast.
Requested a refund right away! When I walked into my room the smell was horrible. When i came back from dinner I asked the front desk if all the rooms smelled. I was told they were having issues.
They let us check in early and the front desk employee was very cordial. There was no room service for the 2nd night. Coffee pot was broken and the security chain on the door was missing. The entire hotel needs maintenance.
The breakfast wasn't bad. Didn't get to use the pool. The water for the shower never got warm. There was no fruit at breakfast.
Our reservation was mixed up, the staff was very helpful on resolving the issue. Pool was clean and warm. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on!! We went to bed at midnight and woke up at 4:30 unable to sleep any longer. Pillows were half the normal size. TV wouldn't move so you could only see it from one of the beds.
I liked the pool and hot tub. The room was not clean. There were socks left behind, popcorn on the floor, and cobwebs.
I keep staying here and it's like my home base in Des Moines
Friendly helpful staff ready to provide assistance and guidance. Found the location in close proximity to the the airport and interstate. Dining was not the best in the vicinity of the hotel (not the hotels fault) but found the hotel's restaurant especially the breakfast to be exceptional. The breakfast wait staff were among the best I've experienced at a hotel restaurant. The suites could use an upgrade/redecoration.
The beds were super comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the room was very noisy. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a steady stream of noise from the elevators and traffic on 235.
Close to Downtown Des Moines and the interstate. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, and everything was very clean. Our room had a great view of downtown. The room was sweltering hot the whole time (85 degrees). The staff said you could open the window, but it seemed to be locked shut with no way to open it. Thankfully one of the staff was kind enough to give us the box fan from the front desk.
Nothing The first 2 rooms they put us in were not cleaned, the third had someone else staying in it, the fourth smelled overwhelmingly of smoke and the 5th had bugs. Please save yourself the trouble of finding another hotel at the last min. Unless you are up for an adventure, do t stay here
