Cons: On my flight I was freezing. I saw first class received blankets and many of them were not being used. I explained to the flight attendant how cold I was and asked if I could purchase a blanket. I’m a very understanding person, but even after all of my attempts to warm up (i.e., drinking hot water, moving around, etc.) I was miserable and on the brink of tears. I understand staff must follow company policy but I found this to be horribly inhumane. After reaching out to corporate my issue was never resolved.

Pros: Comfortable seats, for a sardine can, but that is a given these super efficient cramming of people on the plane days. But the seats were clean and comfortable, the flight crew was professional, and the trip uneventful.

Cons: What food? Alaska Airlines doesn't feed the cattle. Even the Salmon I brought back, one was semi frozen, expected that... The other was not frozen at all??? What's up with that??? Leave that one out on the tarmac or what??? Doesn't matter what "AGREMENT" Alaska Air has with any airlines. Make you go through TSA again and there isn't enough time to catch a flight 60 minutes later. Much less get bags and check in again. I"m look for a different air carrier. Alaska Air is a mediocre airline and it's okay for them. That landing included a few bounces. The pilot came over the com talking about a great landing. I'd hate to see one of his bad landings.

Pros: I had been upgraded to First class, so you couldn’t go wrong. The flight was delayed over an hour due to a mechanical issue. I am grateful that they watch the planes so closely and fix the issues.

Pros: The flight from hell is over. I've had better jumps from a C-130. At least I didn't bounce as much and the Army never nickel and dimed us for everything.

You have to pay for leg room. Otherwise your knees are in the back of the seat in front of you. Food? What food? They offered trail mix. You have to buy the cheese platter. After buying the leg room upgrade. forget it. Entertainment? What entertainment? You have to buy the entertainment player. Seriously? After Alaska Airlines nickel and dimes the customer to death they landed on one set of wheels, then bounced two more times.

I called customer service and was told I would be given a refund for all the trouble my cancelled flight was causing making me late for work and my ride being unable to pick me up at the new landing time. I never received a refund and my rebooked flight got cancelled. I almost didn't get home on that flight either, but the customer service agent found me a seat. I never received a refund and I missed out on pay at work. I never want to fly Alaska again!

Cons: Baggage crew was so careless in loading bags onto plane. There were two bags and a car seat that were thrown and missed the conveyer belt and fell off the side.

Pros: 1st, I got upgraded to TSA precheck so security was a breeze. Was able to change my middle seat to a window seat in an exit row at 24hr check. It was a full flight, but no fight to get suitcase space. And the flight attendants were very clear & concise in their directions & food/drinks went very fast. Thanks, Alaska Airlines

Pros: We arrived late for a connecting flight--that was about to leave--and were transported by van literally from the plane to the connecting plane. The driver quickly took all our boarding passes and checked us in at the gate. We left just a few minutes later! The crew helping us make that flight were so quick and took care of us. The other travelers and I were impressed and very grateful to barely make that flight. We were all sure we would miss it when we first landed. Thank you to all you wonderful people who made that happen!

Pros: We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible.
Cons: Delta should not have made the dumb decision to take the Seattle-bound plane and use it as a substitute for the malfunctioning Cincinnati plane. Delta should have provided accommodations for the stranded travelers once they arrived in Seattle.

I am flying to Portland for School over 40 round trips and I am saving $4,000 vs Alaska Air. Plus I get miles and discounts with the Delta Amex Card. I am very pleased.
Cons: I don’t like harsh change in schedule fees but it forces me to plan. I wish the Seattle to Portland Eve flight landed in time to catch Portland Rail system at 11:50 PM

Pros: Gate personal kept us notified about flight delay. Flight crew was very positive on plane and they were as miserable about the delay as we were. Snacks and drinks were brought out. The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry.
Cons: Flight was supposed to depart at 0730. Actual departure was 1045. Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies.

Pros: Despite small aircraft, boarding was fast and easy. On time departure and arrival. And quite clean aircraft despite a very fast turnaround. And Biscoff!!!! Delta's free wifi for messaging is a nice touch, as is free in-flight video. In-flight music would be nice, too. Doesn't hurt to ask :)

Cons: I had to buy a ticket on Southwest to get where I needed to go. So a wasted trip, wasted time and Southwest came through immediately after I had told them the situation. I'll be using them much more now.

This could be handled much more clearly!

Paid over $1,000 for a flight leg that one way and direct on another airline (Alaska air) was $281.00 and the agent took so long to find redirect flight that they couldn't book. Total mess! While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!

Cons: Ground crew was inadequate and unorganized. Ground crew caused a late flight to be even later. Plane was overbooked and the ground crew was more interested in filling the flight than accommodating Advantage Member seating.

Pros: Premium space
Cons: Sporadic communication from flight deck on the nature of 2-hour flight delay. Initially we understood that dispatch was the issue because of fuel for the flight. Next, it was a weather delay followed by an apparent ground stop.

Pros: Relatively smooth flight
Cons: Seats are built for very small people. My knees were pressed into some hard surfaces for the entire 3+ hour flight. Made it a little painful to walk when we landed. The movie screens (not headrest systems) were all up overhead so you get a neck cramp watching anything. The headrest behind me pressed my shoulders forward and the extendable part would not stay up. The window stopped at about my shoulder so to look out I had to crouch down. AA better stop squeezing us for profits and start delivering a quality service or we'll all find some other airline that puts passengers first.

Pros: Staff polite and helpful. No complaints/ Slept all the way

Pros: I enjoyed that the ride was only 35 minutes. The crew was helpful and professional. Quick and smooth trip and came in on time. Can't really ask for too much more than that.
Cons: The middle seat was a little cramped but I can't really complain since I lucked out with window seats the entire trip and only had to sit in the middle seat for the shortest plane ride on my trip.

Cons: It was an hour + late. A trip I took from Washington two weeks before was late in both directions.

Cons: Gate personnel was not as accommodating. Didn't seem like they wanted to help.

Pros: The plane was new and the leg room was worth the extra $20.
Cons: No inflight entertainment and the seat did not recline. I guess there are pros and cons in the exit row. I also had no choice but to buy the more expensive seat since all others were taken at check-in.

Pros: Staff was courteous, efficient, and professional. Plane was clean and the seats seemed roomier too. Pilot was excellent. He made up considerable time once we were in the air.
Cons: Flight kept getting delayed.

Pros: The crew seemed nice, and the seats themselves were basically comfortable. The option to check baggage at the gate was good, since it was a nearly full flight.
Cons: The seating was completely cramped. Airlines need to decrease rows in order to provide actual legroom. The boarding process didn't seem very logical in terms of rows and seats. I don't believe there was any food, but that may be because it was a red-eye. The pilot thought Springfield was in CT, which was alarming to me.

Pros: Great inflight service! On the ground faster than expected.
Cons: I asked to complementary check my small carry on, but the attendants at the desk would not let me. The stewardesses were booked too closely to their last flight and we were delayed - huge oversight. Boarding was chaotic as the gate immediately across from us was simultaneously boarding and the United staff made the whole process long and miserable by failing to call the next boarding group in a timely fashion. This is not the first time I’ve felt miserable while trying to board a United flight :/.

Cons: Kayak sent me a message that our connecting flight out of O'Hare was boarding at gate B5. However, checking the monitors in the terminal showed the correct gate was B21, which is on the opposite end of the terminal. I don't know why Kayak had the wrong information on this. We barely made our connecting flight because our starting flight was over 30 minutes late, which was United's fault. This made rushing to the correct gate for our connecting flight all the more stressful. No time to stop at the bathrooms or pick up something to eat. Both United and Kayak let me down on getting back to Hartford. We arrived at the end of boarding with no room left for our bags in the overheads so we had to check them and pick them up at the carousel. A totally BAD flight experience.

Cons: The seats are small, no real space, things over all looked run down, feels like I’m taking a city bus but even those have more room.

Cons: The crew was very rude, I was told I had to store my purse, the person next to me wouldn't store the carry on baggage, I needed to take scheduled medicine in flight, I couldn't as my purse was stowed. I was delayed for over and hour and a half after arriving. I had to stop and eat in the airport. With chronic health issues addressed this way I will probably not use United again.

Cons: Not a lot of foot room

Cons: Been a long time since we had to walk down onto the tarmac to board a plane. Would rather not have to do that. Otherwise a good experience.

Pros: It was generally quiet and peaceful. I called the stewards at one point and they were very prompt and attentive.
Cons: Teeny tiny seats on an overnight flight? I had to ask my rowmates to clear the row so I could find my glasses that had fallen under my seat because there simply wasn't room to maneuver even an arm down to manually search for them. This is not to mention that most people sleep on these flights; how is that comfortable for most regular Americans?

Pros: For the amount I paid I'm surprised all we got was mixed nuts! Very disappointing! I hated watching movies on my iPhone, wished you had mounted headrests

Pros: My flight attendants on my flight were wonderful and so was the boarding crew at San Fran's airport to Las Vegas were awesome as well. The space I had on my connecting flight to vegas was awesome and the feature it had to charge devices were a nice too.
Cons: The crew at the front desks and at the boarding area for my flight from Anchorage, AK, to the San Fran airport however, were extremely rude. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did.

Pros: The crew was all very polite, attentive and helpful. They were troupers amid a flight gone bad.
Cons: My wife and I booked a round trip to California from Connecticut. We had a layover in Dulles with plenty of time to change gates. We arrived at our gate and established our place in the waiting area. We were then required to change gates; this was not horribly stressful as the gate was near by: However, on the return flight things changed. Keep in mind that my wife has arthritic hips and knees and I have arthritic knees. Arriving at Dulles, we went to our waiting area at Gate C-19 and ordered a breakfast at a nearby kiosk. Before our order was ready an announcement stated that our gate was changing to D-24. We waited for our order but had to leave the coffees behind because the lids did not fit correctly and we didn't want to spill them on ourselves while hurrying to the new gate (about a mile away). We finally got to that gate and boarded the plane. We wanted to wait to eat our food until we were airborne. We waited on the plane for about 45 minutes in the heat. During that time the "gate attendant" announced that they were waiting for that pilot who could not be found but was in the airport. At the same time my United App on my iPhone messaged me that there was a mechanical issue with the plane and we were waiting for another plane. At the 45 minute mark we were told the plane had a mechanical issue and we would have to disembark and go to Gate D-1 (about 1/2 mile away). My wife and I were already exhausted and needed to stop, but we did not know how long we had before boarding the new plane so we pushed onward. We then were told the plane would be a couple hours and that there was snack and water at no charge. My wife and I proceeded to dissect our breakfast sandwiches to eat what ever was still less than discussing. The new plane arrived and all else went well. We were delayed over 3 hours but made it to Connecticut; exhausted and sore. We had been awake for over 29 hours by the time we hit Hartford, CT. This experience will linger in our minds for a long time and travel by United my not be possible for us. We are very traumatized.

Pros: Flight was on time. This shouldn't have to be a "positive" aspect of the trip but unfortunately was the only flight during my trip that was on time.

Cons: The plane was dirty. Has crumbs of food all over the floor and I had to sweep off my seat before I sat down. There was trash beside my seat The attendants were loud and not professional with how they talked like they were from the hood. They kept the lights on making it hard to sleep

Pros: The attendents were helpful and nice except in the situation I've listed in dislike. The plane left on time and arrived early and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes for a gate to open up.
Cons: I chose the back window seat right in front of the restrooms. Crewmember even said it was the worst seat in the house. Although I didn't pay to upgrade, thee were available seats up there. The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been.

Cons: If nothing else United has been consistent in their late departures and arrivals backed by absolute lies about the reason for delays. Staff says one thing then Pilot says something completely counter. Then the lack of any sort of heartfelt appology adds to the insult. Every flight was overbooked by at least 5 people. Total incompetence. Moreover, United has made profit so obviously more important than client comfort. The seats were similar to a straight back Dining room chair except with your knees in your chest. They even took away the seat back pouch as a smal comfort to place items to be replaced with an 8 inch high mesh that fits nothing larger than your cell phone. A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight

Cons: After boarding, we waited on the plane for a long time before they said there was a mechanical problem and we would need to deboard while they fix it. After waiting another four hours they finally canceled the flight. They couldn't get us another flight and said to come back the next day to see if there is another flight out.

Pros: New plane. I like the new seats with the slot that can hold my iPad cover so I could watch a movie. The services was great.

Cons: I am 5'4" and had no leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole time. The in seat entertainment was broken on the entire plane for the flight. Simply won't ever fly in a plane so cramped ever again.

Pros: Quick flight time.
Cons: The crew seemed so much less friendly on this flight, however they got the job done. I was scolded for having a carry on with me, although I did notice there was still a portion of overhead space that was unused. Also, no in-flight wifi service like the last flight was available it seemed. That was a bummer

Cons: Flight was delayed by more than an hour due to maintenance issue which could have been avoided.

Cons: We left late, so even though I had rushed to catch my connection, we still sat in the plane for half an hour. Is it possible to build in more time between connecting flights? Which luckily was also late. Too bad people now have to pay for food.

Cons: Crew boarding the plane was bossy and a bit rude. I also think it's very inappropriate that United boards it's pre board group by saying, "anyone with disabilities can board now" The term pre board was created so you wouldn't have to publicly announce that someone was disabled.

Cons: They canceled my flight, lost my luggage made me miss events in my life on my vacation and only comped me 20$ food ticket which is nothing in an airport. And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again.

Cons: United has squeezed its Economy class customers into seats that are tolerable only for the shortest. If I were an inch or so taller, I would have found the space intolerable. As it was, my knees were against the seat in front. For a flight as long as this one (over 5 hours from Anchorage to Denver), it was uncomfortable to say the least. The middle of the plane was nearly empty, because United charges $75 per seat for an upgrade. For the round-trip for two of us, that would have added $300 to our bill. The fact that so few are willing to pay the upgrade fee indicates that the increment is too large.

Pros: Crew were friendly and helpful.
Cons: I don't think it's possible to construct a plane more cramped than that, but I'm sure someone will rise to the challenge.

Cons: They cancelled my flight into Hartford. I got stuck in Houston then they sent me to Boston. My car was at Bradley international on Boston so I had to wait a few hours when I landed at Logan before a rental car became available, which cost me an extra 200 dollars. I rented the car and drove to Hartford (2 hours) to drop the rental off and get my car. Needless to say I was exhausted for work on Tuesday after getting home at 3am and traveling all day. My original flight from Houston to Hartford was suppose to land at 8pm at Bradley airport. I had several people I was on the trip with who also flew into Hartford the same day with similar arrival times at bradley who were on different airlines. They either had small delays or no delays at all. Extremely inconvenient the trip home was. Although I am all for safety first I am not sure why other airlines still made the trip or simply delayed the flights. Doesn't make much sense since I usually fly United and always consider them the benchmark of air travel. Thanks. Torry Gajda
