We landed at 8:30pm and did not deplane until 9:45pm. We had to take busses to a terminal gate. It was awful.

We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

USB plug did not work in-flight and it seemed super bumpy from start to finish. Not sure if it was because it was a much smaller plane, but I fly generally 2ce a week for work and this was by far the bumpiest and wobbliest(not sure if that is a word..haha) I've had this year. Also, in Albuquerque the gates shifted from what was on the boarding pass to what was in the terminal which caused some confusion. Then landing in Austin for my layover to Tampa the flight was delayed and then back on time on the in-app boarding pass, the gate changed too and when I got to the gate my flight was not posted. I thought I was going to miss my flight because it was supposed to have been boarding right then and I couldn't find the gate for my flight. Finally someone showed up to the desk and I was able to ask, and she confirmed that it was that gate and was delayed. There were several of us going to Tampa that were a bit stressed and confused. After all was said and done we were delayed about an hour, but it was the confusion that made things so much more stressful. I like to fly American quite a bit, and have a MC as well, and although there have been some delays, which I understand will happen, I haven't experienced this level of confusion.

But sometimes being that early means sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes which cut it close to missing my next flight. Flights used to offer blankets if passengers were cold. If the plane is not full they do allow passengers to move seats to be more comfortable. The complementary beverage is still always a nice touch but seconds aren't offered and cups are often taken before they're finished. It would be nice to see our country's airlines go back to a little more awareness and appreciation for one another, and work to improving their levels to above satisfactory. The flight was supposed to have entertainment viewable on personal devices but going through the app to select something was told this flight didn't have access. Overall it was satisfactory."

I almost missed my flight because the agent at the ticketing counter did not want to let me on the plane because he insisted that I had the wrong COVID 19 TEST to enter my country (Guatemala). I told him multiple times that the test was accepted and that other family members flying on other airlines had no problems entering Guatemala with that test. I even spoke with a Supervisor and the result was the same. It was until I was able to talk to the manager who gave me the time of day and actually read over what I had for the TEST and said it was ok for me to get on the plane. I had no problems what so ever getting into Guatemala with my test results, my fligh was #243 from FLL-GUA on 27/10/20"

Spirit left a dozen, people that arrived almost 40 minutes before their flight, in the terminal instead of checking them in and letting them LITERALLY walk around the corner to the gate. No chance or offer to bring these people to TSA to let them catch their flight. 2nd time I've flown with them, 2nd terrible experience. This was it, I, nor any of my entire family will fly with this airline again. Zero compassion."

Service counter attendants were not friendly. I asked if I could fly standby on an earlier flight since I had gotten to the airport 4 hours early. I was told "This is not Southwest, you can't get on an earlier plane without paying $120 for it". Flight was changed to a new gate but wasn't updated on the monitor. I had to check flight aware to see what gate we were at. Flight attendants were rude and boasted about being the youngest flight crew in the sky, which is nothing to boast about. There are many veterans of the sky that exhibit amazing customer service and flight expertise. This Moto degrades those who have spent 20 + years in the sky making sure we are safe and comfortable. I would rather have a former fighter pilot with combat experience flying my plane. So spirit airlines, do I think you being young is an advantage over the other airlines, No. I care about customer service and safety. And I have yet to feel that from your airline. From the check-in counter to the flight attendants, the staff treats customers without respect and then charges you for it. I'm done."

Spirit also cancelled our flight. We spent about an hour on the phone with Spirit and said that they booked me on another flight. When I went to check in, they didn't have a reservation for me. It was such a cluster. I will pay the extra money to not fly Spirit."

Cons: "A passenger seated directly behind me was allowed to disrupt the entire 4-hour flight from LA-DT. He ordered a beer shortly after take-off and the crew suggested he order 3 in order to save a few bucks. During the 4-hours, he ordered 12 beers. He spoke the entire flight to the passenger next to him, while the 3rd seated passenger in his row got up and switched seats to remove herself from him. To avoid more conflict, I said nothing to the man. All I wanted to do was sleep and that was impossible due to his constant small chatter and swearing using words such as "*uck this airline" and "*uck this *hit on this plane". Not one crew member asked him to be quiet or control his behavior so everyone else could sleep. No airline should allow this behavior from their passengers. I am confident that these tickets were the last I will purchase from Spirit Airlines."
