B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.

My knees were smashed against her recliner seat for the full three hour flight. I was moved from a window seat mid cabin to a seat surrounded by children under the age of six. No chance at rest. Made me lug bagged to oversized drop off only to be told that my gear wasn’t actually oversized and I had to lug it all back and stand in line for bag drop off again. This was a bad time."

You could always just wait until check in at the airport and get thrown into a middle seat. Saving extra money was what pushed me over the edge here, but after all the fees after booking was paid for and experience, I would have gladly paid the extra money to fly Alaska Airlines."

Pros: "I purchased a ticket for my 18 year old dog $ 125.00 each way to fly with me to Kalispell and back. She is so old that she can not SEE, HEAR, or BARK any longer. I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did."

A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight"

Cons: "After boarding, we waited on the plane for a long time before they said there was a mechanical problem and we would need to deboard while they fix it. After waiting another four hours they finally canceled the flight. They couldn't get us another flight and said to come back the next day to see if there is another flight out."
Cons: "I was not told that if I voluntarily checked my carry on bag I wouldn't be able to make flight changes later."

Cons: "I am 5'4" and had no leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole time. The in seat entertainment was broken on the entire plane for the flight. Simply won't ever fly in a plane so cramped ever again."

Cons: "Entertainment was not given freely, as if you didn't just pay 300 per ticket to fly on United. It would cut in and out just to tell you it wanted your credit card. The seats were so full the middle person doesn't even have room to sit up straight without touching shoulders"

Cons: "I was flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago to Fairbanks. My flight from Pittsburgh was delayed. My connecting flight from Chicago to Fairbanks was in the very next gate. But as I exited my first flight, my connecting flight pulled away from the gate. I was extremely disappointed."

Cons: "Was crammed in the back with not enough knee room. I'm not overweight, (5'11", 200 lbs) people (including flight attendant kept banging into me as they went past. 1 flight attendant (middle-aged man) obnoxious. Lots of empty seats in the "economy plus" section, once flight was in motion...attendant refused to let anyone move. United obviously shortened up the leg room and space towards the back of the plane to make room for "economy plus" then just left those seats empty when passengers refused to pay the additional $170 (what obnoxious flight attendant said) to sit there. I will look for other carriers..."
Cons: "They canceled my flight, lost my luggage made me miss events in my life on my vacation and only comped me 20$ food ticket which is nothing in an airport. And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."

Cons: "First of all it was delayed, no big deal but once i checked in I wasn't even assigned a seat. I try to find an agent at the boarding gate and none to be found. They finally arrive 30 min before take off and then assign me a middle seat when I specifically picked my seat weeks earlier and of course was one of the last people to board barely enough time to search for a place for my bag and get to my middle seat in the back of the aircraft. Not even a sorry or any type of compensation for a terrible experience"

Cons: "United has squeezed its Economy class customers into seats that are tolerable only for the shortest. If I were an inch or so taller, I would have found the space intolerable. As it was, my knees were against the seat in front. For a flight as long as this one (over 5 hours from Anchorage to Denver), it was uncomfortable to say the least. The middle of the plane was nearly empty, because United charges $75 per seat for an upgrade. For the round-trip for two of us, that would have added $300 to our bill. The fact that so few are willing to pay the upgrade fee indicates that the increment is too large."
