Cons: "Overall a horrible experience. Would never choose American Airlines given other choices. This was the second time this year I was held at an airport over 24 hrs due to plane maintenance."

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Cons: "The first class flight attendants were VERY RUDE to the passengers getting on the plane, especially the male flight attendant. While serving drinks, instead of saying things like "pardon me", they would say "move" (as was said directly to me) and get out of the way" (as I herd him say to another passinger). Very disrespectful way to treat a person, let alone a paying customer! Btw...I am a middle class 5' 11" tall college educated male."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

There should have been a warning or disclaimer when choosing seats to let people know that those seats have a solid arm rest, and that they are more narrow."

Agents were completely unhelpful over the phone, went to the airport agents at ticketing counter were also unhelpful and threw up their hands like there was nothing they could do to help us. Finally had to switch to Delta and got to Chicago at 1AM EST, missed the wedding."

For health reasons I did not want the trip to baggage and I did not want to risk my bag being lost. I drive 3 hrs o the airport and I did not want to drive back or wait 3 days for a lost bag to be sent to me as I have before. The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

Pros: "I requested a wheelchair. My foot is in a boot and I am not suppose to walk any distance on it. I was told there were only 2 wheelchairs and that they were for 2 elderly passengers. I passed 8 more wheelchairs that were not being used. Very rude airport employees. I had to use an escalator and almost fell."

Pros: "The crew on this flight were extremely friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there."

Cons: "The flight was delayed over 3 hours, putting me home at 4:00 am, instead of my planned 12:30 am. At that point, I wish I had booked a flight for Sunday. I was stuck in the ohare airport for hours while stores and restaurants were closed, without wifi, and tired. Then I had to wait for my paid checked bag once I landed in Charlotte."

Cons: "Crew not that friendly. When boarding first flight attendant seemed annoyed that I asked her about my seat. ** there is a fee for about everything on frontier. I would rather pay additional for the tickets on other airlines because the process to check in luggage, get to the gate, and have the Benicia of not being charged for every little thing is WORTH IT. You end up paying more to fly frontier by the time you are done paying for the extras. I prefer the one stop shop. Convenient and no drama."

Cons: "The whole negative experience started with having to pay for my carry on. Yes, this was my fault for not knowing or expecting the extra $45 each way for my carry on. Water was not given during the three hour flight - you pay for all refreshments! The planes feel like a budget experience with cheap fold down trays and arm rests that slam down making lots of noise, and there is very little foom under the seat to put a small bag. My same small back pack that fits under other airlines seats wasn't even close to going under forcing me to straddle for the the entire flight. I will NOT use Frontier again. The airline feels like Alligeant that costs much less. I'll stick with Southwest!"

They were unorganized and they nickel and dime you to death. who makes you pay for your seat? Frontier. They emailed me five thousand emails about checking in after I checked in. They want to charge you three dollars for a soda. It is not customer service. Having a survey for customer happiness is stupid when they aren't working to make the customer happy. It has become evident that airlines do not care about their customers anymore. I mean if you are going to make us pay for everything then at least be polite. And on the return flight we had to sit for a half hour and wait while they moved another plane that was occupying out gate."

Cons: "Hidden Fees, thankfully we could afford the extra $20/seat. On the first leg of the flight it was 100 degrees in the cabin, and there were NO beverages available at all. We were told there would be a 5 minute wait on the tarmac before unloading...we've been here for 45 minutes with no end in sight."

Pros: "This was my first flight on Frontier and didn't know what to expect. When my iPhone boarding pass wouldn't work at security I was sent to the Frontier counter and they helped me instantly. The Phoenix boarding lounge was NOT a good introduction with holes and rips in the seats and a "sofa" that rocked everyone on it whenever someone moved.. The gate attendant however was great - and funny. The plane was VERY nice and made up for the lounge plus we made it to Colorado Springs 20 minutes early! The price ($56 including fees and taxes) means I'll be looking at Frontier in the future."

I get people at one point or another have an off day - but it was bad a Ly the same on the way on second leg f the trip"

Pros: "When we got to the airport the kiosk was not working, and no one was at the counter. Checked in online, they charged us $45 per carry on (didn't read the small print, because it's so small, and no other airline I've been on charges for carry ons). To check a bag was cheaper, $35 but no one was at the counter. Also, they charged us $20 per seat when we checked in, did not give us the option of a no-charge seat online. (even though we did have tickets) So, I paid an additional $130 for the 2 tickets total. Shabby airline."

Cons: "Frontier went from being a great airline to nickle and dime air. There was a fee for EVERYTHING. $40 for carry on luggage?! Tlwhat a joke. A bag that i carey and hanfle myself does not constutue a $40 fee. Hell the bag didnt even cost that much. Not to mention the hard back cattle seating they installed plus charging for water. I will never fly frontier again after 20 years of flying with them."

I listen to the lady checking bags ARGUE with a mentally handicapped woman(who is crying) because she is trying to charge her $60 for a bag that was free the last trip. The guy helping me I believe helped the mentally handicapped woman get her duffle in the free bag slot, no problem ... I check in go up stairs two hours later same lady is checking tickets, verbally arguing with MULTIPLE people about baggage.. including me, when I was already downstairs and pre approved to fly with my bag. She made us all get out of line and either pay or re check the size of our bag, some people ended up paying while I got to get BACK in line after already waiting to board and another employee approved my bag to fly. This lady is arguing, smiling, but loudly arguing, very rude and condescending like she was better than everyone. I was appalled at the way they treat their PAYING guest.. Like come on lady, nobody wants to be up at 5 am getting on a plane, but that is the job she chose, so no reason to take it out on paying customers. I honestly couldn't believe her attitude."

Pros: "I liked the direct flight from chi. To Az. The one thing I didn't like was that we didn't get a cup of coffee on our return trip home, just on the way there."

That being said I was able to find someone who said she could be fired but was able to get me a boarding pass even though it was an hour before the flight left and all I had was brief case with me. For that I am thankful. Next time I will print a boarding pass prior to going to the airport"

Cons: "PAID $40 per carry-on - which I have seen "free/included" on other airlines. Every seat selection had a price $11-$16, including standard seating. On the flight, I had a $2 soda pop, as it was not included. In other words, every possible step or choice has a price. If Frontier comes on top of KAYAK, please read details and ADD UP THE COSTS. After the above 3 items, I DID NOT SAVE with Frontier and should have chosen another airline."

I guess the price is right to fly but after adding 40 dollars for a carry on item, what I paid doesn't look as good. silly to me that frontier can't afford to offer a free drink as well."

Pros: "The contact points I had at each step were very friendly. Out welcome to Charlotte from the flight attendant warmed me with joy on a joyous holiday. Yet, I was not informed of the fee for carryon luggage moments before boarding. It was a shared experience a passenger checking in next to me. It was a great flight."

Cons: "The seats are so small and close together that my 6'3" self acutally does not fit in them. There are no headrests. You can even lean forward on your tray table bc the seat in front is too close and the tray table in 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. A middle seat on a Frontier flight is the worst thing going in travel right now."

Pros: "The flight attendants were really nice, funny, and attentive. They were great."
Cons: "I think it is insane that the overweight charge is double. The baggage fees are insanely expensive and the seats are so close together on the plane you feel like you are sitting in each others lap. Considering how many passengers they have on the plane and how much money they make show how horrible the baggage fees are because clearly they are making profit. Also, you can't even get water without paying for it. Everything here costs, this is why I will continue to fly with Southwest and I will never fly with this airline again."

Cons: "TERRIBLE SERVICE!! The flight was delayed @ Phoenix. Flight was supposed to leave at 12 55 am and it finally departed until 2:23 am. The representatives @ Phoenix told us we wouldn't have ANY issues with our connecting flight to FLL as they would use the same aircraft When we landed Dallas, they told us our flight to FLL was waiting for us which was a complete LIE. The representatives at Dallas were disengaged and didn't seem to look for options to get us out of there,. Finally, a representative came and told us we had 2 options: OPTION 1: Stay in Dallas 31 HOURS!! and take the next flight to FLL (no hotel arrangements were offered) or take the next flight to Orlando and move ground to FLL. Very disappointed with your service. NEVER FLYING ON SPIRIT AGAIN"

Cons: "The fact that my baggage cost more to ship them than the price of the ticket in the first place was a huge surprise. That will not happen again! The seats are cramped and comfortable only for a flight lasting less than 90 minutes. If your flight time is longer, be ready for a very sore bottom."

Cons: "Higher cost of checked bag than other commercial airlines. Higher cost of normal sized carry-on bag where other commercial airlines are free. Different high charges of baggage purchases from ticket purchase, before online check-in, counter check-in and at gate which could be surprises for many non season travelers as well as online travel agents do not seems to provide enough info and alerts of the different charges of baggages, etc. Also charges for at the counter check-in is an absolute no no for travelers who may not be internet or computer literate."

Pros: "$45 Phoenix to LAX. Can't go wrong. My carry on easily met the requirements for the free bag. If you're going away for more than a long weekend probably makes more sense to fly another airline."

Cons: "The crew on my first flight were very accommodating and friendly, but on my second flight they were NOT so friendly and everyone around me was talking about how rude and unfriendly they were. This was my first time flying on Spirit and I asked for a pillow and the response I received from the Flight Attendant was "What!....we don't have pillows" Another reason I was unhappy was because on my connecting flight from Texas to Chicago we were delayed on the plane and NOBODY told us what the problem was and why we were not moving to the runway. After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!"

Cons: "My flight and all other flights to Minneapolis were cancelled that day. My only option was to reschedule for the following day. Instead of dealing with that mess, I got a refund and booked a different flight with Delta. The whole experience has put a negative taste in my mouth for Spirit Airlines. Will not fly again!"

Pros: "The boarding process was actually fairly smooth and efficient."
Cons: "I purchased the Spirit ticket because it was ~$30 cheaper than my other options. I was okay with the connecting flights for the savings. Silly me, I didn't check the fine print-- Spirit charges to CARRY ON a bag. Both ways. The $30 I thought I saved was quickly erased when I ended up spending $90 to carry a duffel bag on the plane. All FOUR of my flights were delayed by nearly two hours. Seats were thin, sparsely padded, and cramped."

Pros: "The crew coming back had a sense of humor. Made it more enjoyable."
Cons: "Still think your luggage rates are outrageous. What I saved on flight the luggage check in rate made it more expensive. Probably won't use you again. Sorry, but money is tight. And charging the outrageoust rates for snacks. Shame on you."

Cons: "A lot of extra cost with Spirit which you don't see when you book with sites like Kayak. Spirit charges for seats if you want to select one and charges for every bag, including carry ons."

Pros: "The check-in staff looked at my two bags and believed that I could combine them into one carry-on. I expected to pay $50 for second bag but with their encouragement I was able to turn it into a single bag. I never expected Spirit to actually try to help me save money, but they did. Once on board, the seats were more comfortable and spacious than I had been warned. In fact, on non-economy carriers, I have been more squished than I was on this flight. What I really liked was that it was a direct flight. I was prepared for no snacks or drinks. In fact, I preferred the lack of interruptions. One backpack is all you can carry for free. If that is all you need, Spirit may very well work for you."

Cons: "on the way back, just ok. The employees at the gate in Phoenix airport were making already delayed flight at 2 am even more tedious of a process.... directions dragged on, seats were mixed up... "you will need to listen to understand"... she should have been making it easy and pleasant for us. Also, we thought we got a good deal but add on baggage charges, pick your seat charge, ended up costing more than other airlines... the seats do not recline and seating is tight..so we paid more for a worse experience. it's impossible to sleep in that position. we will never chooses Spirit again"

Pros: "The orange juice was great. I liked sitting in the big front. The lighting was good for reading my book which I did for the whole flight. The people I met on the plane were so interesting."
Cons: "I paid for a big front but was assigned a regular seat. The flight crew corrected my seating. In the future they said i should buy through the Spirit website."

Pros: "Y trip was good from Phoenix to Ft. Worth. The assistance to the gate and boarding was wonderful. The crew were pleasant and accommodating of and very helpful with my disabled Sister. They attended her every need. Which allowed me to relax and enjoy the flight."

Cons: "Read the fine print. Almost predatory with baggage charges, not very clear in booking,$100 to have undeclared CARRY ON AT THE GATE. With baggage charges, not any cheaper than any other airline"

Cons: "All Denver flights were cancelled so after talking with Spirit Airlines the first flight they could get me back to Denver was Dec. 20th which was 5 days later. Extremely poor customer service. I will never intentionally book a flight on Spirit every again."

Pros: "Everything about this airline is great!! People don't like reading the airline rules and then get surprised about stuff. They tell you everything and nothing is a scam. Super smooth and super friendly and they wait by the door to greet you and it's awesome!! 4th time flying and would do many more!!"

Pros: "If you are going just for a weekend and can fit everything in your backpack and laptop bag, then this is the airline for you. The seats do feel a little tighter that other airlines. On the redeye flight, the coach seating was a van bench with 3 seat belts which is strange, however no one was sitting next to me so I was quite comfortable."
Cons: "Low fare airlines attract a different kind of customer. Half are like the typical "Walmart" customer. If you can tolerate that, then the fare is worth it. Also, someone was passing silent gas all flight long. It turned out it might have been the service dog behind me. I am not sure but it was disgusting. I was burned in the past because of their baggage fees. As long as you can fit everything in a back pack, then this is the airline for you."

I had to pay 55. To check baggage so I could have my computer and purse with me as well. Not Sure I will fly with them again. The 110. Xtra for luggage brought the cost of the flight higher than United Airlines. Financial surprises when traveling cause ugly results !"

Pros: "The crew was so nice and the landing was the smoothest I have ever experienced"

Cons: "I had purchased an emergency exit window seat. Just before the plane was taking off, a man jumped into the middle seat and hit my shoulder in his hurry. This was not the seat the man paid for. If there was an emergency situation, the man did not agree online or with a flight attendant to accept responsibility for being in an exit row. In addition, the flight attendant ( with long dirty blonde hair-middled aged) told me that anyone can move to any empty seat whenever they want to. The man took the one arm rest I paid for and was on his laptop the entire flight hitting me with his arm with every key stroke."

Cons: "If you like getting squeezed for every nick and dime try Spirit. They lure with cheap "base fares" then charge for carry on bags, checked bags, a reserved seat, water, everything. If you are like most people who take a bag, prefer knowing where you will sit, and maybe want a bit of water when you travel it will cost you more to fly on Spirit than most other airlines. Should be called Bush-league Airlines."

Cons: "Seats were cramped. Tough for tall folk."

Cons: "The winds in Denver delayed us an hour and a half. No fault of yours."

Cons: "Half the time the plane sounds like its going to fall apart. Things would bump up from the bottom of the plane. It was the only time I've ever felt like the plane might go down"
